Using ARM 3.0 API with Tuxedo 7.1

Hi
How to use the ARM 3.0 API to measure the transaction process in Tuxedo 7.1.
Please suggest any sites, forums, white papers, articles that discussed this issue.
Thanks in advance.
Prakash

Check the Operation mapping, like what is anbound interface and outbound interface, these details should match with interface determination details(outbound interface details).if you have configured perfectly then it will show the operation mapping.
still if you have a problem then better to refresh the cache,it will solve the problem.even you can manually type the operation mapping name in Interface determination, and test end to end.
if it is also not working out, then create one interface copy objects from two name sapces  http://sap.com/xi/EBP
, http://sap.com/xi/SRM-MDMCatalog . and finish ESR and and finish ID too..

Can anybody help me in configuring login configuration . Actually when i change the java_home in weblogic to jdk1.4, it starts throwing security exception like this:-

I am not sure what you mean by 'plug-in', but it sounds to me like you want to run weblogic with 1.4.
And that probably isn't a good idea in a production system. 1.4 is still beta and there are suggestions that it still includes debugging code. And if bea hasn't certified it then you loose all support from them when running under that. This will all lead to extra time spent figuring out if the problem is in your code, in weblogic or in 1.4.

  • Use Native iOS/Android APIs with Flex/Flash Builder 4.5.1?

Is there any documented, official  way to access the native APIs on mobile devices (iOS and/or Android,  specifically)?  Perhaps some sort of ExternalInterface support?  My most  important need for this is importing 3rd party SDKs, the first one  being the Facebook iOS SDK for Single Sign-On.
If not, is support for native APIs planned?  Has anybody figured out an unofficial way to access the native APIs?

Nothing official is available; although there is an AIR for TV Document on building ACtionScript extensions to AIR.  I expect that "approach" will show up in other AIR runtimes.
You can look at this for an "ad-hoc" way to do it: http://www.jamesward.com/2011/05/11/extending-air-for-android/

  • Using tuxedo client 8.1 with tuxedo server 6.4

    Hi,
I am using Weblogic server 7 sp2 with Tuxedo 8.1 on my Windows XP machine, I have configured weblogic (config.xml) to use WTC to connect to tuxedo 6.4 on windows 2000 machine which in turn connects to tuxedo 6.4 server. When I try to do a tpcall I get an error on weblogic server log 'TPENOENT(6):0:0:TPED_MINVAL(0):QMNONE(0):0:Could not find service'.
My question is I haven't made any configuration changes on the tuxedo server end like ubb.config or dm.config files. We are currently in the process of upgrading to weblogic 7 or 8. At the moment we are using JOLT to connect to the existing tux services on the dynix box.
I want to know if I can configur WTC on weblogic 7 using tuxedo 8.1 API to connect to tuxedo 6.4. What all changes do I need to make on both WLS and Tuxedo end.
I have read some documentation which state ways where old tuxedo client versions 7.1 and earlier can access tuxedo server 8 by configuring WSH (CLOPT -t) option in ubb.config file.
    Can someone please help.
    Thanks,
    Smita

    Hello Smita,
I don't think WTC is supported with Tuxedo 6.4. I think (for a number of reasons) that you really should consider an upgrade to 6.5 or newer version of Tuxedo.

  • How to use third party APIs with Sun J2ME Toolkit

I've installed Sun J2ME Toolkit 2.1. If I intend to use other third party APIs with my existing toolkit, how do I do that. I can manage to get the jar file of the associated API classes, but how to integrate the same with the toolkit. Thanks in advance to all who support.

if I remember right, it is enough, if you put the .jar of the api in the lib/ directory of your project (<WTK>/apps/<yourProject>/lib/ )

  • How to use "OCI Statement Cache - OCIStmtPrepare2" with XA ? Tuxedo ?

    Hi All
Is there is a way to use "OCI Statement Cache - OCIStmtPrepare2" with tuxedo and XA ?
We have found out that a lot of the "CPU time" is spent by OCIStmtPrepare. We have 8 frequent statements (with bind) that we would like to cache .
Based on the following ORACLE paper, our interpenetration is that it is not allowed to cache statements when using XA.
*"Oracle® Database Advanced Application Developer's Guide 11g Release 1 (11.1)" - "Developing Applications with Oracle XA"*
    Highlights from the ORACLE paper.
"When used in an Oracle XA application, cursors are valid only for the duration of the transaction. Explicit cursors must be opened after the transaction begins, and closed before the commit or rollback."
"Ensure that the application resets the fetch state before ending a transaction. In general, use release_cursor=no. Use release_cursor=yes only when you are certain that a statement will execute only once."
    Regards
    TechSgin

    confirmed by ORACLE.
XA connections don't support OCIStmtPrepare2 (statement caching)

  • Which API can use to save PDF document with Adobe Reader 9?

    Hello,
which API can use to save PDF document with Adobe Reader 9? It is said that "CosDocSaveWithParams" can't be used.
    thanks!
    jimmy

Unless the PDF file is "READER ENABLED for SAVE" (see the adobe product pages on LiveCycle Reader extensions server)
You are not able to call a Save at all, if the document is reader enabled then you need to use the JavaScript call to save the document,
As you appear to be wanting to do this in a plug-in you would need to call the script from a plug-in, this can be done using the AFExecuteThisScript () function call.
Please note that this does will fail if the document is not reader enabled for save and you need to include the Forms HFT in your plug-in,
This plug-in would also have to be approved by Adobe to be used with the reader and as you are implementing a function that is available in the full Acrobat product this may not be a straight forward approval.

  • Problem with too small page size using Java 2D Printing API.

    Hello,
I have problem with resolution of printer using Java 2D Printing API. Despite my printer has 600 x 600 DPI, inside java.awt.print.Printable.print(Graphics, PageFormat, int) I receive page format with 600 x 840 page size.
I have tried to set resolution using javax.print.attribute.PrintRequestAttributeSetand javax.print.attribute.standard.PrinterResolution, but with no result.
    Can anybody solve this problem?
    Regards,
    Karl.

600 x 840 is a Point value; Point is defined as 1/72nd of an inch. Printers do have much higher DPI than this, but I believe that this DPI has to do with richness of the printed image, not an actual ability to color with that level of resolution. You might want to try calling zoom on your Graphics2D object. Otherwise, I don't know what else you can try.

  • Using KM APIs with Anonymous user

    Dear SDNites,
I have gone thorough one of the SAP notes on possible CM scenarios with anonymous users. It says the the supported scenarios are Search, browse and download.
My question is that can we use KM apis in these areas with anonymous users?  I got some documentation on KM Indexmanagement APIs for searching with TREX, which requires authenticated user. I am wondering is there any way to use those APIs with anonymous user access.
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Regards
    Pavan

    Hi Pavan,
if you access the KM via Web Service you'll find parameters in each service to send username and password.
If you browse the KM reposiroties via http you may need to do an authentication first. If your portal accepts basic authentication (as it does by default) you may call the KM explorer iView with some URL like:
    http://<username>:<password>@<hostname>.<domain>:<port>/<path to KM iView>
If this does not work, maybe you need to use a client that supports basic authentication (digest). This may be e.g. the OpenSourcer library [HttpClient|http://hc.apache.org/] from the Apache project.
See [RFC2617|http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc2617.html] for more details on Basic Authentication and Basic Authentication (digest).
If you have some more questions, please come back.

  • Using Third Party APIs with Tomcat and Axis

I'm experimenting with creating web services in Java. I'm using tomcat and axis for this. I have successfully created and deployed some basic web services and now I want to create one using a 3rd party API. I follow the same exact procedure and when I deploy the service I check my list of deployed services through the axis page, but all my services have disappearred. Commenting out all 3rd party related methods does successfully deploy the service. Is there anything special/extra I have to do to get 3rd Party classes to function correctly in a web service?
    Thanks in advance

If you're using Tomcat, JARs in the /common/lib directory are available to all applications deployed on that instance of Tomcat.
I prefer putting them in the WEB-INF/lib of my web app, even if that means duplication. That way my app doesn't depend on having the server set up a certain way. I deploy them as a WAR file with everything they need enclosed within,no more and no less. They're completely portable to any servlet/J2EE engine that way.

  • Using tBridge with Tuxedo /Q fail

when I config the tBridge example :Using tBridge with Tuxedo /Q fallow:
    bea81/weblogic81/samples/server/examples/src/examples/wtc/tbridge/package-summary.html
    I get a error below:
    <2003-10-28 ÏÂÎç15ʱ50·Ö13Ãë GMT+08:00> <Error> <WTC> <BEA-180097> <Due to a tra
nslation error, tBridge has redirected the message to the wlsErrorDestination.>
    who can tell me why??

There are many ways that this error message will be sent to the WLS log.
You need to turn on the WTC tracing to get a better idea of when it is
failing. Messages from/to a JMS queue need to be converted from/to
a buffer type that is usable for the Tuxedo queue/service. Conversions
occur for STRING,FML,FML32 or CARRAY buffer types. Check to make
sure that the buffer types that your application is using, on both WLS and
    TUX sides,
is consistent with the configuration settings and your expectations.
Set the trace level above 15000 for tBridge. Above 65000 will print out
    all the tracing.

  • Reg using the GP APIs with webdynpro applications

    Hi Experts,
I have been implementing webdynpro appln using GP APIs as a callable object in my application. In my webdynpro application i have been using RFCs to access data from the R/3 system.
Are there any setting I need to do in Guided Procedures (portal) to run the application in portal.
Can any one of you explain me regarding what are all the setting i need to do from the Guided Procedures perspective while using callable object that interact with an R/3 system?
Also, I would be grateful for any other valuable suggestions from you regarding implementing webdynpro appln using GP APIs as a callable object.
    Thank You.
