Using Discussions to ask a question

Hey, I have to be honest. As a brand new MacBookPro and Apple user I love the system and everything else. Beat the heck out of Dell.
However, for the life of me support is really bad. For example, I have spent the last hour trying to figure out how to post a question under the Operating system category. There are no "post a question" buttons to be found.
When I called Mac support they told me I thye did not support the discussion support area and if I had a question related to anything about Microsoft word for apple I would have to call Microsoft. They would not even give me a number for Microsoft's software- Juest the main number !
Will someone tell Apple Corporate that new users such as myself find it extremely frustrating to simply ask a question.
I spent 3X the cost of a Dell and Basically got the same runaround.
Just put a simple "ask a question" button on the template. Simple solutions, instead I wasted alot of time and creative energy.
If anyone has a number for Apple Suggestions or customer service I would like to call and see if they will listen

First, Apple does not provide support for Microsoft products. If you need support for a Microsoft product you need to go the the Microsoft support site or their support forums.
As for posting a question at the Apple Discussions you've apparently figured that out in posting this question.
AppleCare has nothing directly to do with these Discussions. The Apple Discussions are a user-to-user support function sponsored by Apple.

And inasmuch as Macs are no more and often less expensive than Dells there's no way you spent "3X the cost of a Dell." You did not get a runaround, but were given correct information to the question you asked.

I have tried everything. uninstall reinstall. I couldn't test for flash because the function wouldn't work. I uninstalled Firefox twice and uninstalled flash twice. I cleared history, etc. I called my tech support for my multiple listing service, since I can't even log on without flash. He checked everything, and told me he couldn't figure out why it is not working. the plugin for shockwave flash is there. I know flash is on my machine because when I tried to install it after installing it this morning, it said it was already installed with the latest version. Later on I uninstalled and reinstalled twice. Flash works on Safari and Chrome. Only Firefox has this problem. I am very frustrated. I had to use Safari to even use your "ask a question" since Firefox uses flash to ask a question!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!

If you are within 14 days of purchase you can still return the iPhone and get the phone that suits your needs, however, I think you will find that no matter which phone you get the content provider will want to know how you are going to pay for future purchases. For Android phones it is Google, and they will certainly want to know.

If the video is already on a DVD:
You need to convert the VOB files in the TS-Folder of the DVD back to DV which iMovie is designed to handle. For that you need mpegStreamclip:

it's less powerful than your average computer. THink of it like a netbook but with a better processor.
It'll do fine for surfing (although if you browse a lot of flash based sites you will need to get a third party browser since safari doesn't accommodate it)
You may do OK on reading books, papers or magazines, especially if they have apps, but the ipad's screen is backlit, so it doesn't work well outdoors and you may need to fiddle with the brightness so that you don't get eye strain (it's just like doing too much reading from a computer screen)
I would say the biggest short comings are data transfer. Apple's preferred work flow is that everything is done via iTunes or the internet....well people dont' always have 100% reliable always on internet access so you can find yourself in a situation where you can't get things on/off the iPad.
By and large, it's a good device for day to day stuff, but is not a computer replacement.

My Bars are all stacked one on top of the other ie ASK A QUESTIONS, under that: File, Edit, History etc, under that Mozilla Firefox start page, tab tab etc. This uses 1/3 of my screen, can I make it all one bar

I don't know how to insert a screen shot of my problem but as described above, right now I have 5 bars on top of my window.

5. Latest headlines, most visited, City of Balch Springs etc.
I don't want all these bars and I don't want all that window space used.

I just had the same problem. And I found the solution, on Youtube.
The problem is that these ******** at apple designed the battery compartement, the distance between metal contacts too big.
That means the batteries plus or minus poles are not touching the corresponding contacts in the mouses battery compartement.
Most likely the battery doesn't get pushed up to touch the plus contacts.
I used a fingernail to push the battery up and tadaa, the green LED came on.
The guy in the Youtube video just put some folded aluminium foil under the minus poles for bridging the gap.
