Using mx.messaging.MessageAgent's clientId as session ID?

Hi all,
I have a Flex 3 app which talks to a server via
RemoteObjects. I'd like to implement sessions and use
mx.messaging.MessageAgent's clientId property as a session ID. The
Flex 3 app has one <mx:RemoteObject> which, on first connect,
obtains a clientId for the AsyncRequest of their ChannelSet. Is
that a reliable solution (as in, does clientId ever change, e.g.
through some transparent change to the ChannelSet), or is there a
better one?

In iChat > Preferences > Accounts go to the Server Setting tab for the account in question
Change the Port from 5190 to 443 (you can only do this whilst Logged out)
Now go to the Account Info tab and tick the Use this Account box to Log in
If you still can't log in then return to the Server Settings and deselect SSL and try logging in again.

Some emails don't appear in the folder list, I can only find them by using Search Messages

As of yesterday, new emails from one regular correspondent do not appear in the list of messages when I click on Inbox. The only way I can access them is to use "Edit/Find/Search Messages". They are still in Inbox, they haven't been moved to another folder.
Thunderbird version is 31.6.0.

None of these apply, the messages have been received, I can find them using Search Messages but they do not appear in the folder contents.

Use VZ Messages+ to get text from one phone on another??

Here is my situation. I have 2 phones, an IPhone 5c from work and a Casio Commando 4g. I only want to carry one of them and would prefer it to be the Commando. I am trying to use VZ Messages to get my work texts on the Commando. No matter how many times I clear the setting, uninstall, reinstall the app, etc whenever I start the app on my android phone, it just says "Starting Service" and then displays the texts from that account. When I install the app on my android tablet or even on the IPhone, it 1st asks what number I want to link the app to, I receive a text on that phone with the pin and everything works fine.. So in other words, I have been able to install the Messages app on my IPhone, link it to my android phone, and get the android phone texts on the IPhone with no problem. What I need to be able to do now is install the app on my android phone, link it to the IPhone and and receive texts sent to the IPhone num,ber on my Android phone. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi tgoggin - We certainly want technology to work to make life convenient! I can confirm at this time anytime you have VZMessages on an actual phone line with Android it will register to that lines number. I apologize as we are unable to adjust this setting.

Using one Message Interface for all mappings

Hi Folks,
I am using a BPM in which i m getting a file from file system which have system ID in it.
I am having three send Synchronous step following that.
What i need is to use the Message interface for file to be used for receiver determination based on system id in case of Synchronous interfaces.
DO i need to include this File msg. interface in each mapping, if i do so will it be possible to send req. and get response for synchronous call.
OR is there any way to to use the file msg. interface for each mapping.
we are on SP17,I also tried Extended mapping but i am having SYNCHRONOUS send steps.
Plz help me out

1. You receiver a file in your BPM . This has a field called SYSTEM ID?
2. On the basis of the System ID field you need to determine the Receiver to which the Synchronous Request message has to be sent?

This is what i want to do.
i can't use switch step here. my BPM looks like this
RecFile->sync send->transformation1->transformation2->sync send2->transformation3->BLOCK
in BLOCK
Sync Send3->transformation4 and so on...
I am using three different Sync ABS Interface for each Sync send steps.
In receiver determination i want to get the data from respective R/3 system based on system ID i.e. logical system in File MI.
Say if it T90CLNT90 then get data from BS_SAPR3_4.6 else from BS_4.7

Is there a way to create, store and use preset messages for use with "Messages". I often have a recurrinig message to send, after a repeating event, and need to enter the same short message each time. It would be nice to have this short message stored and selectable so that I do not need to enter each time.

Using jsessionid to get to the right session

 We've got an odd situation that we've run into using Weblogic Server 8.1 SP2 to
 serve up dynamic VoiceXML pages. Our VoiceXML platform has a VoiceXML browser
 and another component called a compilation server, whose job is to retrieve grammars,
 compile them and make them available for recognition. Although the browser itself
 supports cookies, the compilation server does not.
 Here's the scenario:
 Server A (the browser) makes a request to Weblogic for its initial page, and a
 new session is created. The page that is returned contains a link that includes
 the session ID appended to the end of the URL, so that it looks like this. http://someserver/voice/grammars/grammar.jsp;jsessionid=A0vIhV1RkYzwYI0vcS1b0ykU21YPy2Ww3r9WBzoDAOq04liAWnQf!507937038!1089777544278.
 Server A sends that URL (including the jsessionid) to server B (the compilation
 server), and B uses the URL to fetch a grammar.
 In the HTTP access logs for Weblogic, we see the second request (from B) come
 in, and it contains the correct jsessionid. However, our application logs show
 that a entirely new session is actually created, with a brand new session ID.
 To further test it out, some attributes that were put into the session during
 the initial request are definitely not there on the second request.
 Anyone know how we can make Weblogic use the jsessionid to find the correct session
 rather than create a new one? Our assumption is that since the request is coming
 from a different client, Weblogic is automatically creating a new session.

 Server will create a new session only if the jsessionid is not present in the original request. Making a request from a different client should not make a difference.
 Are you making the request to the same application in both the cases ?
 You may try the following code and access it from diff. client to see the expected result.

Error handling using fault message type in outbound synchronous ABAP proxy

Hi,
We've a scenario, outbound synchronous ABAP proxy to synchronous SOAP receiver. The requirement is to send multiple records in a single rquest and get response for all the records sent (in the same response message).
Say if I send 10 records from ECC, I should get 10 records as response from SOAP to ECC. But the problem here is, there could be some invalid requests, for which an invalid error status code should be sent as part of response.
Source Structure
Req_Proxy
    req (0..unbounded, string)

Resp_SOAP
Resp (0..Unbounded)
       respString (0..1, String) (carries the actaul response message)
      status code (0..1, String) (carries the status of the response, for ex, 001 (successful), 002 (error))
And now we are planning to make use of Fault Message Type, to track the errors from SOAP (status code 002). But, we are not sure on how to track this for all the requested records. Is it possible to track the errors for all the requested records in a singe call using fault message type? For eg if 8 records are successful and 2 are invalid, then we should get 10 records in response 8 for valid and 2 for invalid accordingly.
Please calrify.

Check if you can modify the WSDL structure to include an error node that would get populated incase of invalid entries....this would mean that you get the success and failure details in the single message....also at the proxy-end make the necessary change in your DT.....may be then you do not need to use the fault message...

I successfully deployed my SDA file but while running the scenario(http-XI-ftp in PI7.11) i am getting the folowing exception under MDT:
com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Error processing inbound message. Exception: Cannot locate proxy bean ServerProxyFTTest3.
I am using the following library refernces under application-j2ee-engine.xml file: com.sap.aii.af.sdk.lib, com.sap.aii.proxy.svc, com.sap.xi.util.misc,com.sap.guid,com.sap.exception all of type "weak".
I have checked almost all the forums related to fault messages in asynchronous java server proxy but couldn't find much help.

Is it possible to use BAPi-ALE to send an IDOC using a message control?
I have configured the system to send an IDOC when a outbound delivery is saved in the system.
I have done the following.
1). I am using the std BAPI-ALE interface provided by the object type LIKP.
2). I am using the method SAVEREPLICA for which an interface already exists in BDBG transaction.
3). I hace created a distribution model in BD64 and added the BAPI - LIKP and SAVEREPLICA
4). Created a partner profile ( using the generate partner profile option in the BD64 transaction )
QUESTION:
1). How do i associate the custom OUTPUT type created for Delivery ?
2). I tried to associate the custom output type in the Partner profile definition under the message control tab but i am not sure which Process code to be used? Since the partner profile was generated automatically from BD64 it has an entry for SHP_OBDLV_SAVE_REPLICA as a message type in the outbound parameters. and i am unable to find a process code for this Message type in WE41. So what process code should i use in the Message control tab against the custom output type?
3). Do i need to leave the message control tab empty without making any entry? If yes then how would the system come to know that it needs to trigger this partner profile when the custom output type is proposed by the system?

Adapter module can only provide information about the failures in Adapters.
But other failures like XML Validations, can be informed depending on the mode of Validation.
As per help.sap.com
You can perform the structure check at the following points in PI message processing:
● Validation in the sender adapter
If the sender adapter has created the PI message, you can then perform the validation of the PI payload. If the structure of the payload differs from the definition of the data type provided for comparison, message processing is stopped. The adapter sends a synchronous response to the sender of the message, informing it about the structure error. The industry-specific adapters inform the sender asynchronously, as required by the RNIF protocol and the CIDX protocol.
● Validation in the Integration Engine
In inbound and outbound processing, *validation of the PI message payload takes place as a pipeline step *of the Integration Engine. If the structure of the message payload does not match the saved definition of the data type, an error description is generated. The error description contains status information and a list of all structure errors. Message processing is stopped. The message is set to error status and an error report is saved.
If validation takes place in the Integration Engine, the sender of the message is not automatically informed of the structure error. The message is set to error status and an administrator can process the message further using the Runtime Workbench.
So if you use XML Validation in Sender Adapter you can get back the Exception ( i think you need to do some java mapping here). Else if you are using Integration Engine, then alerts are there for them.
Anyway this discussion has opened a lot of To Be Explored area for me. I will keep looking for them.
