Using Videora Ipod Converter and having problems

I am using videora converter to convert movies which come in more than one part. The first part will concert but the next ones will not drag to my ipod. A box comes up stating that my ipod can't play it. It is the same format with just a different name (matrix-001.& matrix-002 ect.)How can I get the other parts to be compatible.

I just did this yesterday.
In your settings you have a directory for the output video. Your video will be in this directory. Mine was set to ProgramFiles/VideoraIpodConverter/Videos, but you can change it in settings. The Video for Ipod will be in this directory.

Usually deleting the iPod Photo Cache Folder works. Note that if you sync via the folder method, make sure you dlete all the ifolders since :
The iPod Photo Cache stores the photos that are optimized for display on your iPod, iPad, or iPhone. The location of this folder depends on the syncing options you select. In iTunes, if you change the selection in the “Sync Photos From” pop-up menu, a new iPod Photo Cache folder will be created (and the previous folder will remain).

Using the "Party" Menu and Having Problems?

There has been much discussion regarding problems with the "Party" Menu from the En Library. All sorts of problems, but the common aspect was this particular Menu.
Thanks to Jeff Bellune, we have looked closely at this Menu for any errors on Adobe's part. None have been found. The only possibility that Jeff, or I could see, was that the font used, Brush Script Std. might not be installed on all machines. This would trigger an error message in Photoshop, and ask permission to substitute that font for one that is installed. No problem, other than a substituted font. However, Jeff pointed out that Encore might have issues with a missing font, and not treat this in the same way that PS would. This is a bit of speculation, but in Jeff's case his "speculation" is much better than my "knowledge."
As for the font, it ships in the "Goodies" section on the installation disc, and should be included in the Functional Content with the downloaded version of CS3/CS4. It should also be part of the full install, though I suppose that there would be circumstances where it might not install automatically. If this is your case, just go to your installation disc, and locate the font. Use a manual install through Windows, or your OS. Now, this particular Menu should function perfectly. There could also be others, where the font might not be present on one's system. Again, the solution would be the same - install that font.
The only oddity that I found was that the Sub-picture Highlight of the first Button was turned ON. Not sure if this was just a mistake of Adobe's, or was maybe something that I did accidently. Either way, if you get Button 1 with a Highlight (star Shape to the left of the text), just go into that Button's Layer Set and make sure that it's turned OFF. That is the correct state for all Sub-picutre Highlights. The DVD player, or computer, will turn the appropriate one ON, when that Button is navigated to.
I think that I can safely say that there are no "gremlins" in that Menu. Besides checking out perfectly in PS, it functioned perfectly in En. Of course, I had that font installed, as did Jeff.
If any user finds any problem with that Menu, please post the complete and exact details on what you encounter and complete details on your version of En, plus the installation method and language of both the installation and the program. Those could be very important. More details are better.
Hope we don't see mention of the "Party" Menu, except that people used it with NO issues.

Using two routers together and having problems

i am using a wrt54g router and the modem is plugged into that wan port and i want to use a befsx41 router to add more ports for internet and to give some extra places to use internet on it. how would i get this to work because i have internet from the wrt54g router wired and wireless but the stuff plugged into the befsx41 doesnt work...

New to this iPOD game, and having problems! Please help!

So I finally got my hands on a Nano yesterday, and ever since then some odd things have been happening. I would appreciate any help to the following questions/problems I've been having, because the applecare stuff does not seem to really be either helping or addressing my issues.
1. When starting iTunes, I was told (once it reconized my nano) that I neeed to install the new software for the nano, i expected this and downloaded it, and followed the directions. As soon as I did that though I started getting "Corrupted Error" messages in iTunes. To get this to stop I just reinstalled iTunes...I was able to transfer things now, but now the system does not seem to reconize that the nano has the new software, and asks if I want to install it, and when I do...(again) I start getting those corrupt errors again.
2. I will move some songs from my iTunes library, to my nano, and it says they transfer over. I then eject my nano from iTunes, wait for the "do not disconnect" to go away, and unplug it, and sometimes, my newly transfered songs are no longer on my nano. Am I doing something wrong?
3. I went to update my iPod with some playlists from my library, I went to the options, and said "only update from these lists" It updated my ipod...and deleted everything else off of it, and to add insult to injury, it only added the title of the play list, and NOT the actual song files
I know this is a lot, but I'm really frustrated, so any help would be appreciated.

Just bought Ipod nano and having problems downloading the itunes

Wondering if someone can help me. I'm trying to download the itunes and have spent the last 3 hours trying to download. It just won't work and i am so fedup i wish i hadn't bought the nano.

Have you gone to: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and if that doesn't work you could always go to the closest Apple Store they will make you a disk (for free) if you ask them for it.

As Retired Engineer indicated, you will need to install Snow Leopard first. After you install Snow Leopard, you need to go into Software Update and perform the updates. 10.6.6 will install the App Store. You should continue to update to 10.6.8 before purchasing and installing Lion from the App Store.
Be sure your machine meets the minimum requirements. Basically, any Mac with a Core 2 Duo processor or later and at least 2GB of RAM (but 4 is highly recommended). If you have a first generation MacBook Pro with a Core Duo, you will not be able to upgrade to Lion.

Videora iPod converter Questions

Hey,
Whenever I use Videora to convert my movie files from my PC (.wmv and .mov)... it goes really fast through the video and doesn't even take time to transcode. Then, when I try to open the transcoded files it says "Error! File not a valid movie file"
Anybody else having this same problem?

Not sure about .wmv and .mov, but I've used the Videora iPod Converter to convert a number of .mpg files to .mp4 and they worked fine and loaded and played fine of the iPod

Videora iPod Converter Help

So, I'm having the problem where I open the videora iPod converter choose transcode new video and in 1 and a half seconds it says finished, but when i go in to the export directory there is nothing there. I have looked over each step of about 4 different tutorials about 4 times and each and same with all FAQ's. I have seen my enable debug console (some explain why you can't copy that so i cant paste it here). It mentions that i should searc/find/delete all but the newest cygwin.dll. I seach, find, and then realize that the only cygwin.dll i have is the one that is in the "videoraipodconverter" folder . So I leave it there and then in my debug info it say that it should be located in a x:\cygwin\bin folder. So I created a folder C:\cygwin\bin and copied it in there, but still no dice. So I've searched more into the FAQ's and tutorials, but still no dice. I'm a pretty computer savvy person so you don't need to hold my hand through this, but I would appreciate some info, beecause I got no where else to turn and it seems a lot of people have this problem and most people are just posting the link to the same faq's to them that don't help. So any takers? Anyone know what is goin on and what to be a lamb and try and help me out? Thanks, I appreciate it

yes I agree, but what does apple use, I have final cut studio, I'm going to try that encoder tonight.
These things end up being like captain ahab and the white whale to me, When I can't solve a problem it becomes an obsession, I will keep beating at it until I solve it.
Even though the mpeg4 video from 3 converters comes out with very acceptable quality when displayed on a tv.
Here's what I have used sucessfully so far to get good mpeg4.
psp media creator (awsome , somethimes a few artifacts with dark backgrounds, good for widescreen)
videora (good video, picture seems streched, some artifacts)
nerorecode 2 (bit slower, awsome quality 2 pass encoder, need to tweak settings to avoid skips and stutters)
Encoders I plan to test
Vegas Video 6 (does avc for psp)
Apple encoder (part of final cut studio)
stay tuned..
