Using Yammer for page commenting in SharePoint Online, how to prevent user from doing it wrong?

I am trying to use Yammer for a per-page comment platform in a SharePoint Online environment. This seems to require placing a Yammer embed in each page
and configuring the embed to use Open-Graph. (see further below for the embed code details I'm using)
When a user begins typing their comment, a gray box also appears (not sure the technical name for it) giving the user the option to click "x" to close it. In the screenshot a little below,
I've put a green-box around it.
If the user clicks the x to close that little piece, they can still submit a comment, but it doesn't get added to the page. There's no feedback that indicates this is what happens.
It is distracting and adds unnecessary complexity to what should be a simple task of appending a comment to this page's conversation. In fact, everything I put a red box around in the screen shot
would ideally be hidden from the user.
Can we hide this complexity (everything in red box) from the commenter completely?
If not, how can we prevent the commenter from clicking the "x"
and thusly quietly breaking their feedback?

This is not an APEX issue, but a general browsers one. This is an old problem, without any good solution. Usually, if this is a critical issue (like in payment pages etc.) the course of action is indeed to prevent the page from being cached by the browser, and mark it as expired.

which is your environment, SharePoint Server 2013 or SharePoint Online?
For Yammer Embed to work, your SharePoint environment must satisfy the following prerequisites:
Your organization should have an active Yammer network (for example: www.yammer.com/contoso.com)
Your SharePoint farm admin should choose Yammer.com service as the default enterprise social collaboration platform. Set this option in the SharePoint admin center for SharePoint Online and in SharePoint Central Administration for on-premises
SharePoint Server 2013. Choose the yammer.com service and wait for 30 minutes before moving on to the next step.

Prevent User from doing J1IIN for Non-Excisable Material

Hi All
I would like to prevent the User from generating an Excise Invoice in J1IIN if the Finished Product is not Excisable. Does this require any Configuration changes or does it have to be done through User Exits?
Currently in VF01, a message pops out asking User to do J1IIN if the material is Excisable. I would like to prevent the User from doing J1IIN if the Material is not excisable since this shows Zero Values against BED, ECess and SECess and lot of explanations need to be given to Central Excise Department for generating such an Invoice.

Prevent user from doing device transfer using desktop manager

My company would like to prevent user from using the Blackberry desktop manager to perform the device transfer. The reason is we do not want the user to have company data stored on privately-owned device. Is there a way to do that?

Do you want to prevent them from using the program all together, or just from using the Device Switch Wizard? If not, then what do you mean by device transfer?

You can download a document from icloud.com/iwork to your Mac or Windows computer, edit it, and then drag the revised version to icloud.com/iwork. It’s then automatically updated on all of your iOS devices. You can also drag an iWork ’09 (Keynote, Pages, and Numbers) or Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) document created on your computer to icloud.com/iwork.
So it looks like it can go between iOS devices and your iMac.

On settings if you activate use iCloud for Pages, then when you try to open Pages (on both iphone 5 and iPad3) the program quits instantly.

Pages does not work properly if you choose to use ICloud in Settings in both the iphone 5 and Ipad 3. In fact when you click open, Pages opens momentarily and then Quits. If you de-activate use ICloud for pages in Settings then the program works but you cannot access icloud.

Thanks David for your suggestion. However I tried this before I submitted my problem but to no avail. I think the problem could be in iCloud interface with Pages! Hope apple would look into this soon!

The cheap & easy way is to just drag the app to the Trash.
If you want to get all of the associated files use an app deleting app like the free AppCleaner;

Just drag an app and drop it on the AppCleaner icon in the Dock and it will find and present to you all the files it thinks are associated with the app. You can uncheck any that you want to keep and then let AppCleaner Trash the rest.

The best way to do what you're asking is with the Composition widget. Start with the Tooltip preset, which, by default shows the info on rollover. You can change the option to show on click, which is what you're after. You can also add the close button or have the info disappear on rollout.

Meaning when user types wrong password 3 times they will be redirected to set Challenge question page. If user answers the challenge question then password reset page should be appeared other wise (after remaining 3 un successeful challenge question answers) account should be locked out.

Thanks for your answer. Let me ellaborate more on the requirement here.
- Password Policy and Lost Password management are set up in the identity system
- Configure login tries allowed= 5. Verify accout is lock out after 5 unsucessful login.
This is what need to achieve.
1) If a user attempts to login 3(not 5) times using an incorrect login credential he/she should be redirected to set challenge question (security question) page.
2) Then if the user attempts (remaining) 2 times incorrect challenge answer then his/her account should be locked out.
3) If he/she answers the challenge answer correctly then he/she should be redirected to password reset page.
Is this possible?

How to prevent Oracle from using an index when joining two tables to get an inline view which is used in an update statement?
O.K. I think I have to explain what I mean:
When joining two tables which have many entries sometimes it es better not to use an index on the column used as join criteria.
I have two tables: table A and table B.
Table A has 4.000.000 entries and table B has 700.000 entries.
I have a join of both tables with a numeric column as join criteria.
There is an index on this column in table A.
So I instead of
where (A.col = B.col)I want to use
where (A.col+0 = B.col)in order to prevent Oracle from using the index.
When I use the join in a select statement it works.
But when I use the join as inline view in an update statement I get the error ORA-01779.
When I remove the "+0" the update statement works. (The column col is unique in table B).
Any ideas why this happens?

I think you should post an properly formatted explain plan output using DBMS_XPLAN.DISPLAY including the "Predicate Information" section below the plan to provide more details regarding your query resp. update statement. Please use the \[code\] and \[code\] tags to enhance readability of the output provided:

SELECT * FROM TABLE(DBMS_XPLAN.DISPLAY);Usually if you're using the CBO (cost based optimizer) and have reasonable statistics gathered on the database objects used the optimizer should be able to determine if it is better to use the existing index or not.
Things look different if you don't have statistics, you have outdated/wrong statistics or deliberately still use the RBO (rule based optimizer). In this case you would have to use other means to prevent the index usage, the most obvious would be the already mentioned NO_INDEX or FULL hint.
But I strongly recommend to check in first place why the optimizer apparently seems to choose an inappropriate index access path.

After speaking with a Microsoft engineer over the phone, I've been told that there is no way to prevent users to go to their OWA and manually Purge specific items from the ''Recover deleted items''. The Microsoft tech told us to place the desired mailboxes
on a litigation-hold and that all data will be recoverable... but only from the time you place the mailbox onto Litigation-Hold and previous items, which doesn't take effect for new-coming emails.
1- From what I understand, any new items coming in the mailbox after the Litigation-Hold is put in place will still be ''purgeable'', right?
2- Is there a way (PowerShell, Security group, etc.) that can prevent a user from using the Purge option?
We are very surprised that there is absolutely no thread that talks about this issue, which in our opinion, is a major legal and security flaw from Office 365. This is a main concern for us to actually go with Office365. For instance, this means that at
any given time, if a user exchanges emails with a competitor, they can manually purge emails sent and receive as soon as it is sent/received, even after Litigation-Hold is in place.
