UWL standard item attributes - CreatorId and link with the task container

Dear portal specialists,
As you maybe know, for some workflows that come in the UWL, the column "From" indicates "Workflow system" as the creator of the item.
Example: A expenses is sent by an employee via ESS and falls into the UWL. The column "From" should retrieve the employee name but actually it shows "Workflow System".
My understanding so far is:
- the creator of an item in the worklist is retrieved via a standard attribute "creatorId".
- this standard attribute is defined like this in the documentation: "The user (if any) that created the item or initiated the workflow process. Is a portal user id if available".
My question is: this creatorId attribute retrieves a specific parameter within the container BUT what parameter (the exact name like for instance WfInitiator) ?
My final goal is to modify the container of every workflows that retrieve the "Workflow System" in the from column to send the correct name.

We looked into a similar issue regarding the UWL and have yet to find a solution. We have workitems whose from field are field with Workflow System as well, but what REALLY bothers us at the moment is that we have users in the from field whose usernames are prefixed with US. For example USHANS instead of HANS...
The user comes out of the backend system like this, from the workflow. I was hoping to find a central place on the SAP System where I could make a change to keep it from doing that but to no avail...
The problem is that the UME cannot resolve the user USHANS, and therefor the from field will display USHANS instead of the fullname of the user HANS...
Do you have this problem as well? Please keep us posted if you find a solution yourself as well!

HI,
Go to OX02 and create a company code by copying the standard company code 0001 / 1000
Then go to OX10 and create a plant by copying the standard plant 0001 / 1000
OX09 - maintain storage loaction for the created plant
OX08 - create purchase org copying from standrard 0001 / 1000
Go to OX18 and assign your plant to company code
OX17 assign purchase org to plant
In order to get the tcode go to SPRO and in the top menu click on additional informations - additional information - display key - IMG activity.
After you select this then in the SPRO you have a column additional information comes up. each and every activity in SPRO will have and additional informatiom, in the additional information the last 4 characters is tcode.
Eg : SIMG_CFMENUSAPCOX02 this is the additional information for CC. the last 4 characters OX02 is the tcode

PO line item condition to be linked with contract

In the PO line item condition tab the costs for freight, insurance are specified in different condition types. Moreover it is required to create contracts for freight and insurance.When creating the material PO client wants to link the contract for the freifgt and insurance with this PO line item cost.
How can the contract be linked with the PO line item condition?

I am not refering to the contract when creating the PO. The contract is created independently and the PO is created.
Explanation of the issue: First the contract is created for the freight and insurance for vendor say V1. Then the PO is created for the material for vendor V2. In the PO line item the freight and insurance is specified in different condition types. When specifying the cost for the freight and insurance they want to link it with the contract that was created with vendor V1. Is it possible to link the contract for freight and insurance with the PO line item cost?

Not sure what you mean by "booted" from it.
If the Mac OS is installed on the external drive, then it's possible to start up from it, just as you do from your internal drive. Please open the Startup Disk preference pane in System Preferences, and verify that your internal drive is selected as the startup disk.
Assuming that's the case, then it may be that your TM settings have been corrupted. Turn off TM, then move or delete the file /Library/Preferences/com.apple.TimeMachine.plist. Turn TM back on, recreate your settings, and try again.

Retrieving Data from SQLite and make link with the ID of the retrieved data?

Hello, first of all sorry if my english is bad as im from Mexico.
I using HTML/Javascript/SQLite, and im having an issue while retrieving data from SQLite, all my querys work right, but when i try to select an Id, the Name, Firstname, and Lastname and only use the Name, Firstname and Lastname to print on screen and the Id to use as a link or OnClick query with the id more info from the name of the person..
My SQLite query is the next one.

Continuation to above my thread. There is a small correction.Directly in lsmw not possible. I uploaded using the same code of lsmw and made one report. Through that i uploaded the data directly selecting the file.

Problem with creating links with the WPC (SP14)

Hi,
I have a problem creating links with the WPC (SP14): When I want to create internal links (Browse and select the target item) via the right button (choosing a website as a reference link). If I do so I encounter the problems either that the linked site (outside the WPC) shows a blue background and/ or has no navigation frame (on the left side & no breadcrumb-navigation on top).
If I create links with the left button in the WPC via URLs I have the problem with the inserted URL, because sometimes (I don't know why und when) some parts of the code in the URL changes, so that the linked Website is empty (besides the navigation fram - the content isn't displayed anymore). To me it looks like as if the originally website cannot be "found" anymore.
Does anyone has the same problems and is eventually able to help me? This would be really great. Thanks!

[SOLVED] Thunar 1.6 doesn't drag-and-drop with the right mouse button

Hallo all.
It might be something I've done (though I did delete my ~/.config/Thunar directory before upgrading), but Thunar doesn't let me drag-and-drop with the right mouse button, thus stopping me from copying something instead of moving it, etc. Has anyone else had that too?

Microsoft Windows, Nautilus, the Haiku Tracker, and probably many other file managers have a feature where, when you right-click or middle-click and drag an icon to a new location, a pop-up menu appears and asks what you'd like to do (Move, Copy, Link). I thought I used to use this feature in Thunar too but it seems to have stopped working in recent versions. Has anyone else had any experience with it?

Oracle E-Business Suite account has not been linked with the Single Sign-On

We followed this note 1484024.1 to integrate Oracle EBS 12.1.3 with Oracle Access manager 11g R2.

All the steps have been complete successfully without any errors.
When the excisistign users trying to login.. they will get the single single OAM page but not able to use their current user id and passwords..
it says: "Your Oracle E-Business Suite account has not been linked with the Single Sign-On account that you just entered. Please enter your Oracle E-Business Suite information. The next time you sign on with your Single Sign-On account, it will automatically sign you on to the Oracle E-Business Suite using the following account information. "

Go to the Map mode in your iDVD project and make sure the blue bin at the left is empty. That's where you drag slideshows to if you want the DVD to open immediately to that slideshow and bypass the menu.

No. Apple won't do anything without a court order. Since it wasn't upgraded to iOS 7 before it was stolen then there's nothing you can do. You could file a police report with your serial number but there may be a small chance.

FCP X was working fine in my new 15" Mac book pro (Retina display with Mountain Lion 10.8.2) for the past one month. Now a days, each time I try to open the FCP X, the same non-stop colour wheel is rotating, trying to restore one of my project. It continues even for hours together. Finally I am force quiting the application.
How do I come out of it ? Will I be able to recover my project. I didn't do any backup in particular.
Is backing up on the regular basis is required?
I tried the following guidance by Apple,
In the Finder, hold down the Option key and choose Library from the Go menu.
In the Library folder that opens, go to Application Support/Final Cut Pro.
Drag the Layouts folder from the Final Cut Pro folder to the Trash.

This is my pet checklist for questions regarding FCP X performance - you may have already addressed some of the items but it's worth checking.
Make sure you're using the latest version of the application - FCP X 10.0.5 runs very well on my 2009 MacPro 2 x 2.26 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon with 16 GB RAM and ATI Radeon HD 5870 1024 MB. I run it with Lion 10.7.5.
First, check that you have at least 20% free space on your system drive.
For smooth playback without dropping frames, make sure 'Better Performance' is selected in the FCP X Preferences - Playback Tab.
If you have not already done so, move your Projects and Events to a fast (Firewire 800 or faster) external HD. Make sure the drive's formatted OS Extended (journalling's not required for video). You should always keep at least 20% free space on the Hard Drives that your Media, Projects and Events are on.
Check the spec of your Mac against the system requirements:

If you are getting crashes, there is some conflict on the OS. Create a new (admin) user account on your system and use FCP X from there - if it runs a lot better, there's a conflict and a clean install of the OS would be recommended.
Keep projects to 20 mins or less. If you have a long project, work on 20 min sections then paste these into a final project for export.
If your playback in FCP X is not good, I strongly recommend you use ProRes 422 Proxy - it edits and plays back like silk because the files are small but lightly compressed (not much packing and unpacking to do) - but remember to select 'Original or Optimised Media' (FCP X Preferences > Playback) just before you export your movie, otherwise it will be exported at low resolution.
The downside of 'Proxy' is that it looks awful. DON'T use Proxy when you're assessing things like video quality - especially focus.
If you have plenty of processor power, for the ultimate editing experience, create Optimised Media - most camera native files are highly compressed and need a great deal of processor power to play back - particularly if you add titles, filters or effects. ProRes 422 takes up much more hard drive space but is very lightly compressed. It edits and plays back superbly.
Personally, I work with XDCAM EX and h.264 from a Canon DSLR. Both of these run fine with my system, but I do transcode multicam clips.
Hide Audio Waveforms at all times when you don't need them (both in Browser and Storyline / Timeline). They take up a lot of processor power. (Use the switch icon at the bottom-right of your timeline to select a format without waveforms if you don't need them at the moment, then switch back when you do).
Create folders in the Project and Events libraries and put any projects you are not working on currently, in those folders. This will help a lot. There's a great application for this, called Event Manager X - for the tiny cost it's an invaluable application.

Unless you cannot edit and playback without it, turn off Background Rendering in Preferences (under Playback) - this will help general performance and you can always render when you need to by selecting the clip (or clips) and pressing Ctrl+R.
The biggest single improvement I saw in performance was when I upgraded the RAM from 8 GB to 16.
If none of this helps, you might have incompatible or corrupt media or project files. Move ALL your Events and Projects to temporary folders so that FCP X doesn't find them on launch. If it launches OK, re-introduce the Events and Projects one at a time, re-launching each time, so that you can track down the corrupt or incompatible files.
