V_T5R05 - IT185

When looking at the table V_T5R05 for IT0185 there is an entry for 'Prog Name 'and when do a F1 look up it talks about a report. Has anybody used this field, if so for what purpose?

Please find the detail which is mentioned on the SPRO node. Hope this will surely help you.
In this step you set up the types of Identity Cards which an employee may possess. You also specify if the assignment of a certain IC type to an employee in infotype ID Data (0185) is to initiate the request for additional information, such as whether the employee possesses a work permit.
Standard settings
The SAP standard delivery system contains IC types for all currently issued Identity Cards. If you want to use these entries, you first must copy them from client 000 since the table in which they are stored possesses delivery class C.
Nodes -->
Personnel Administration --> Personal Data --> Identification --> Maintain types of Identification.

Validation while delimiting IT185

Hi,
When user tries to delimit a particular record in IT185 through PA30, we need to do some validation.
I am trying this while setting a break-point in exit : ZXPADU01 & ZXPADU02. but it doesn't stop there.
Kindly let me know any exit or BADI where in I can add a specific check.

Hi Sam,
You can use both BADI as well as user exit for validation when delimiting the infotype 0185.
BADI : you can use badi HRBAS00INFTY method AFTER_INPUT or BEFORE_UPDATE to validate some thing after input.
User Exit: You can use user exit ZXPADU02 for all the PAI validations, but for this you will need to create a project in SMOD/CMOD and activate it to activate the user exit.

Check Conversion Exists in SAP Query

Hi Experts,
In our SAP HCM, we can interchangebly use SAP pernr and Singapore NRIC in PERNR field. SAP has provided a utility to map Singapore NRIC with SAP number in the pernr field based on IT185.
SAP number can only been seen in Txn Code SE16. After displaying the results, click on
Settings > User parameters > Data Browser > Format > Check conversion exists.
On switching off this option, SAP number is displayed instead of NRIC.
When running Ad-hoc or SAP query, the system is displaying Singapore NRIC in the PERNR field. Our users want to have both the options so as to display NRIC and SAP number in this field.
I have checked, there is no 'Check Conversion Exists' function avaliable in SAP / Adhoc query.
Does anyone know, if it is possible to display SAP number in the PERNR field in query. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If it SAP query from infoset then you have to use action infotype and select pernr.
If it is standalone SAP adhoc Query, then create/ change the query to add table PA0001 and PA0185. Join it with pernr field, In the output select the pernr and NIRC number.

CJ88 - Final settlement issue

Seek solution for this issue:
After final settlement (CJ88) the cost that is getting settled and posted in FI is equal to the sum of the difference of Closing CTC (cost to complete) for period 10 and Opening CTC for period 10 and the closing CTC for the period.
But the amount that should actually get settled is the difference of Closing CTC (cost to complete) for period 10 and Opening CTC for period 10.
For eg. the amount that should get settled for Period 10 is 11,85,220.70 (Which is shown in Result Analysis - KKA2 under the head 'Changes in the period - C(period)'. This is the difference of Closing CTC for period 10 and Opening CTC for period 10).
But the amount that is actually getting settled is, this amount i.e. 1185220.70 + Closing CTC i.e. 29,481,426.30.
What could be the reason and solution for this?

IT185-subtype 03gratuity
For Termintation Work bench both these IT are a must.
Lock Personnel no in PU03 before running the termination workbench
pc00_m40_term
Then Enter personnel no-reason for and notice date and leaving date.
Gratuity Leave encashment and all other wagetypes can be given at the time of termination workbench for calculating F&FS
All the amnts are automatically updtd in IT15
Run the leaving action with the date which was entered in pc00_m40_term
Release the personnel no in puo3 and run the payroll-pc00_m40_calc
DO reward points

Problem in entering passport details in 0185 IT for korea employees.

I am facing the problem whilw updating passport details in 0185 IT.
Main problem is the subtype ....Passport 01 is not showing up.
In PA30 ,when we want to maintain personal ids...the passport subtype is not showing up.
In Dev ..everything is fine.We can update the data in DEV.Later we moved to qualiity..everthying is moved.But when we want to updfate the passport details..the subtype is not showingup at all.Did we miss anything in configs.
We did configs in tables V_T582l and V_T591a.
Please advice to showup the the subtype of personal ids pertaining to korea.

International Transfer scenarios to US ( Management of Global Employees)

What's the best way to handle Actions-MASSN for International transfers to US ? My client is a global company and every month there are 3-4 International transfers (not expatriates) to US from all over the world. Right now we terminate the employee in home country and we do a new action in US. We have two issues, though we have workaround, my guess is there will be better ways..
1 - We maintain the original emp id in IT185 (in a custom subtype) because our downstream systems only recognise the employee by the first PERNR the employee joined the company with.
I know this is not the best place to store.
2 secondly after we terminate the employee in the home country we do a prehire action in US meaning the employee is in Inactive status and we activate the employee when they receive their SSN in US. Which normally takes 2-3 weeks and till that time though the employee is working in US but not shown in headcount..which is another issue. HR says they cant activate an employee in system without SSN.
Is Management of Global employees module (IT710, IT715) the best solution for this ? What other options you suggest .?

Hi Suman,
Yes, Global Employment is the answer. The functionality must be activated in table T77S0 and there is a great deal of customization to do.
Basically, what will happen with this functionality is the employee will have two assignments and two sets of organizational data (IT0001), pay data (IT0008), two personnel numbers, etc. This is controlled by the Person ID which is maintained in IT0709. This links the two personnel numbers so the system knows that it is the same person. Again, T77S0 settings control the assignment of this Person ID.
The customizing will change the PA30 view to include an area where you can select for which assignment for the employee you want to view the infotypes. There is also a neat overview, again customized, that will allow you to compare the assignments.
There is a lot of work to do with this and in this short message I cannot cover it all, but the answer to your situation is to implement Global Employment.
PS: You must be at 4.7 or higher for this functionality.

I have created a new subtype M1 (driving license) under infotype 0185 (personnel id) in the table T5R05, but in pa30 i am getting a blank screen. Any suggestions.

For which country you are doing this?
I just created the same record in V_T5R05 for 99 and everything is ok!
Try on another system like IDES if you have. Otherwise check it for another country.

You can use infotype 0185 for this
Go to V_T5R05, select country grouping and under that create new IC with Z1 Passport Details and save.
Probably this will solve your problem.

Aadhar number to be displayed in payslip in PE51

I want to display Aadhar number (IT185 SUBTYPE 6) in payslip ( PE51 used ).I added field ICTYP in PE51_CHECKTAB and tried to write a Rule in PE51.But it is not getting displayed.Kindly help.
