V_V2 (Reescheduling)

Hi gurus,
We have a trouble with a particular situation in sales order. This is the situation:
In Stock 10 qty
Sales Order 1 10 qty Delivery date 31.12.2008
Purchase Order 50 qty Delivery date 01.06.2008
Sales Order 2 1 qty Delivery date 18.04.2008
Sales Order 1 is ok in Availability check and Sales Order 2 also is OK. But, when system try create delivery for Sales Order 2 doesn't create it because stock 10 is assigned to Sales Order 1. The rule for generation deliveries is 'B' without into account purchase orders, and rule for availability of sales orders is A with into account purchase orders.
Transaction V_V2 (Reescheduling) doesn't modify its because twice are OK in Availability Check.
The same situation without Purchase Order of 50 qty sisytem will work ok.
We need Sales Order 2 creates your delivery because is available. Only we can create deliveries when stock exists really. We can't create deliveries based in future purchase orders.
Thanks,
Manjula.S

Go to Tc: OVZ9,"the control of the availability check". Modify the scope for orders "rule: A/ av group: X" by not "include purchase orders".

  • Rescheduling Sales Order V_V2 confirm partial

    Hi gurus,
¿Can transaction V_V2 confirm partial quantities of sales orders?
For example, a sales order needs 50 qty of material A, but only 20 qty  are available in stock. After reescheduling the position of sales order is not confirmated with 20 qty, else 0 qty confirmated. I need that process confirms without full confirmation of position.
    Any idea?
I will reward with points all answer!
    Thank you!!!

    Hi,
Of course, by V_V2, you can confirm partial quantity.
Verify this point in customizing :
    SM30 : V_TVTA_VFP
For your sales area, choose E (batch)

  • Need to run the rescheduling job V_V2  whenever goods are received

    Hi,
Whenever Goods are received into the warehouse then the rescheduler program v_v2 need to be run only for that particular material automatically.
Any help or suggestions would really be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Sre

    Balaji,
    Thanks for your quick response.
Currently we are running V_v2 as a background job every night for all the materials.
But now we need to run it for a material for which goods are received.
If i run it as background job then it has to be run for a specific set of materials or for all the materials in the plant.
But my need is whenever I receive Goods through MIGO, I need to run V_v2 automatically for the material for which i received goods.
    Hope its clear now...
    Thanks,

  • In V_V2 the role of Sort Item by date of creation and Sort by delivery date of earliest schedule line for the Sales Orders when Material is out of Stock.

    Hi All,
    Good Morning,
I am working on once Incident for Re-Scheduling Program V_V2 where the user has requested us to change the criteria for determining the priority of Sales Document based on Sort Item by date of creation. Currently they are using the Sort by delivery date of earliest schedule line in the Variant.
I would like to know the role these both options play in the Re-Scheduling program V_V2. I would like to know the impact of both of them and the kind of testing I need to perform to study the behaviour of Sales Orders especially when the material is out of stock?
Please explain with help of examples.
    Thanks
    Farhan.

This is not that simple that an example would explain how this transaction works but I'll give you some examples.
Material A has SO1 and SO2 of 10KG each, stock is 20KG so both quantities are confirmed at today. A stock recount determines a reduction to 5KG. This program would change confirmed quantity of SO1 to 5KG and SO2 to 0KG if:
Creation date of SO1 is older then SO2 in strategy 1
1st delivery date of SO1 is smaller then SO2 in strategy 2
Material B has SO1 and SO2 with 10KG each but no quantity confirmed, stock is 0KG. A prodution adds 15KG to stock. The program would change confirmed quantities of SO1 to 10KG and SO2 to 5KG if:
Creation date of SO1 is older then SO2 in strategy 1
1st delivery date of SO1 is smaller then SO2 in strategy 2
I'm assuming a specific configuration, there are many other scenarios possible.
    regards,
    Edgar

  • Scheduling agreement qty requirement is not considered in V_V2

    Hi Friends,
We are facing a problem in rescheduling transaction V_V2.  System is not considering the requirement of the confirmed schedule lines of the scheduling agreement while carrying out the ATP in V_V2 and the available qty is allocated to the sales orders.
Ex: Available Stock : 1000 EA
    1. SA confirmed Qty: 1000
    2. Sales order created for the qty of 1000, system is considering the SA requirement and confirming the SO based on RLT.
    3. When we run ATP in sales order change, system is still considering the SA requirement and not changing the confirmed date.
    4. But when we run the V_V2, system is ignoring the SA and confirming the SO line item with PULL-IN.
Because of this SO is stealing the stock reserved for the SA. Is there a way to change the behavior of V_V2 similar to VA02, which considers the SA requirement / confirmed qty while rescheduling.
    Thanks,
    Ram

    Hi Ram,
Rescheduling of sales documents is item specific. It is not possible to reschedule individual schedule lines of scheduling
agreements. Each schedule line is displayed but only the open quantity can be rescheduled.
You can find further information in SDV03V02 documentation.
The open qty on item level will be checked becasue rescheduling of sales documents (scheduling agreements) is item specific.
Availability Check in Rescheduling is always on item-level.
    Thanks and best regards,
    Smile

  • Customer Opening Hours Vs V_V2

    Dear All,
We have special requirement, when a customer places order it has to take consideration in to the customer opening hours in to consideration, for example if the customer opens only on TUE and Thurs if he places order on Friday it has to give automatically TUE as delivered date, incase there is no stock we have standard 6 weeks date will be given by the system and this date also need to be the date of customer opening day.
This is all happing fine when we create the sales order with the fully stock, when there is no stock partial stock and when we have more than one schedule lien at sales order level it is working fine.
But when I Run the V_V2 for rescheduling the sales and stock transfer requirement transaction., that means in case if I have any stock coming in to my ware house before the date is given in the sales order schedule line, in the program it shows me confirmed date for the rest of the qty as goods received date + GR Processing Time From MRP1 from material master.
Here the problem is in this program it is not taking into consideration of customer opening hours from customer master.
This gives the new date just after the goods receive date, but I want customer opening hours to be considered that means if the customer is opened on TUE even though I receive the Goods on Friday I don’t want to deliver on Monday I want the deliver date to be Tue only.
Any Idea how can I achieve this???
    V_V2 (Standard)
The 'Rescheduling' program (SDV03V02) processes sales document items that are contained in the item directory for the material. It takes into consideration open items and schedule lines from stock transfer items, stock transfer scheduling agreements and purchase order requests (items only), referred to hereafter as stock transfer documents, for the materials.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sundu

    hello, friend.
    try this...
    1.  first, define a customer specific calendar using t-code SCAL.  this calendar can include the days the customer is open.
    2.  using XD02 or VD02, go to the Customer Master > General Data > Unloading points tab.  in here, specify the unloading point and the calendar.  (however, this may entail additional config on your part).
    regards.

  • Transacation V_V2 is timing out

When attempting to run V_V2 Rescheduling Deliveries for Backorder
management the report times out and a Time Out message is received.I am
attaching the short dump below with this? Please advise on the soluiton and
if this is a basis related issue or not? The dump also mentions about increasing the parameter
"rdisp/max_wprun_time". The current setting is 600 seconds.
    Runtime Errors         TIME_OUT
    What happened?
The program "SAPLV05L" has exceeded the maximum permitted runtime without
interruption and has therefore been terminated.
    Error analysis
After a specific time, the program is terminated to make the work area
available to other users who may be waiting.
This is to prevent a work area being blocked unnecessarily long by, for
    example:
    - Endless loops (DO, WHILE, ...),
    - Database accesses with a large result set
    - Database accesses without a suitable index (full table scan)
The maximum runtime of a program is limited by the system profile
parameter "rdisp/max_wprun_time". The current setting is 600 seconds. If this
    time limit is
exceeded, the system attempts to cancel any running SQL statement or
signals the ABAP processor to stop the running program. Then the system
waits another 60 seconds maximum. If the program is then still active,
    the work process is restarted.
    How to correct the error
Programs with long runtime should generally be started as background
jobs. If this is not possible, you can increase the system profile
    parameter "rdisp/max_wprun_time".
Depending on the cause of the error, you may have to take one of the
    following measures:
    - Endless loop: Correct program;
    - Dataset resulting from database access is too large:
Instead of "SELECT * ... ENDSELECT", use "SELECT * INTO internal table
    (for example);
    - Database has unsuitable index: Check index generation.
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
    keywords:
    "TIME_OUT" " "
    "SAPLV05L" or "LV05LU01"
    "WERTE_ERMITTELN"
    |

Increase the value of parameter "rdisp/max_wprun_time" in RZ10 or RZ11 t-code and try again.

  • V_V2 Rescheduling Sequence Issue

V_V2 Rescheduling is not working properly for sort order sometimes. I set sort order by default - Document category > Delivery Priority > Date (Sort item by date of creation) > Document Number and Document item. And excute V_V2 as daily batch job. And for example, I created two OR orders A and B (A before B). The delivery priority of them is the same. Now, I only have enough stock for order A. Sometimes, system will remove the confirmed qty from A and move the stock to B, during V_V2 batch job. Does anyone have idea why system is working in this way? Thanks!

Also, ensure all the line item creation dates are accurate.  There are times in my company where sales order B will take stock allocated to sales order A, even though sales order A was created before sales order B.  The reason could be that a user created a new line item on sales order A, and even though the header date for sales order A was created before B, the line item date for A occured after the line item date for B.  Hope this is clear.

  • V_V2 does not allocate if line can not be completely fulfilled

When we run V_V2 and total demand exceeds available inventory (based on Checking Rule "A-SD Order"), stock is not allocated to any line item unless that line can be completely fulfilled.  Why?  Can this be changed through any setting:
    BEFORE: Available Stock 1200
    Order 1 - 200
    Order 2 - 400
    Order 3 - 700 (nothing allocated)
    Order 4 - 100
    Order 5 - 300
    AFTER: Available Stock - 200
I would think V_V2 would allocate 600 cases to Order 3 and nothing to Order 4 and Order 5 since they are lower in PRIORITY (based on the specified "Sort order".
    Thanks for your help!!!

    Hi Hweiling,
In my opinion V_V1 used to create confirmed backorder (line item where confirm quantity in first schedule line is 0 and there is no second schedule line) .
V_V2 is used when you want to alocate your stock based of priority or some criteria.
For example you have order 1 that created on 07.2007 confirmed but you hasn't delivered yet,  then you have order 2 that created on 08.2007 it's not confirmed, and you have the other order 3 that create on 01.2008 and it's confirmed ready to deliver 03.01.2008. You can use V_V2 to alocate the stock to first order, 2nd order and third order. So you can deliver the first order first, 2nd order and then the 3rd order will be in backorder.
If you run V_V1, it's only update the stock for second item (if stock is enough).
If you think why it's not update the order that you want  when you run V_V2, please check the criteria and the stock.
Guys please correct me if I am wrong.

  • V_V2 and V_R2 Replanning the orders

Have looked into the transaction V_R2 and with this transaction we see how many orders and can evaluate the order stock for a special material. V_V2 is used to make the real replanning and it seems that this can only be used for orders not yet confirmed. Is there any transaction or is it possible with this 2 transaction to also get a replanning for orders already confirmed or is it only CO06 that can be used for replanning the orderstock for a certain material.
    Motive behind the question:
The shortage of material for the moment is a big problem but sometimes it happens that the supplier has been able to supply us with shorter delivery time even though the purchase order is confirmed with longer leadtime. Our orderplanners want to have a tool to make replanning for all orders with a certain material and it should be easy to update the confirmation for these orders.
In CO06 they have to manually update order for order.
Do you have any solution for our problems ?

    Dear Expert
Will you please explain me the comparative analysis of these three transaction

  • V_V2 and VA02 authorisation restriction

    Hi,
When we run the transaction V_V2 (rescheduling sales and stock transfer documents),once we get the open sales order document number the user is able to go to that particular sales order change mode by double click (VA02) changing the document i.e. he can change delivery block remove, Article QTY etcu2026
Can we restrict the user in transaction V_V2 should not allow to double click or change the document, as for some user we are not providing access to VA02.
    Regards
    Rikin

    Hi Eduardo,
No its not like that..i have two types of user..Power user and floor user. So those who are power user will have an access to Va02 and those who are floor user will not have an access to Va02 instead that only have an access to V_v2.
But these user are missing using the functionality of V_v2 and from there they are changing few fields like qty and removing delivery block etc..
So i want to restrict Va02 to floor user even via V_v2.

  • V_V2 and scheduling agreements with ATP

    Dear SAP SD Experts,
In our production environment we use Scheduling Agreements with ATP. This means we do perform ATP for each firm schedule line received from the customer. Every night we run a rescheduling job (transaction code V_V2 - program SDV03V02) which is basically taking into account all the lines/documents including these scheduling agreements. My question: from an standard SAP functionality point of view, is the rescheduling job actually performing a new ATP for the schedule lines in these scheduling agreements and re-determining new ATP dates?.Does it have any effect to reschedule schedule lines in scheduling agreements?.
    Thanks in advance,
    Luciano

    Hi Luciano
What you asked is about ATP . and the Fixed date / qty  is something which we define in customer master data. in sales area  data. If fixed date/ qty is checked then no partial deliveries are allowed for that customer.
    so for an example
if the customer X is checked for fixed date/ qty then whatever quantity you enter in the sales oder for that customer X that has to be delivered to the customer X at 1 time .so you cant deliver the material on partial basis.
say u have a material in plant - 50 pcs
customer oder is - 75 pcs
so this is an unconfirmed order and this order should be done rescheduling . .
you cant deliver these 50pcs to customer X even though stock is available as for this customer X fixed date  /qty is there
only if the material is available for more than 75pcs in the plant  then only you can deliver
I hope now you are clear with the doubt of fixed date / qty
Reward if useful and any queries let me know and mark answered if you got ur answer
    Regards
