Validate date is 2 work days or more into the future

I would like to be able to validate that a date entered into a form is at least 2 business days into the future. Is there a way to do this with Application Express?
I am able to validate the date is at least 2 days out by using:
to_date(:P46_DATE, 'mm/dd/yyyy') > sysdate+2
This works except this does not account for weekends. Also, is there an easy way to count holidays as a weekend day as well?

What would change a file modification date into the future?

Of late, I've been noticing that [apparantly random] files that have NOT be accessed are showing a modification date somewhere in the future.
I couldn't figure out why zip was adding files I hadn't touched to an archive of files changed since a certain date. Looked in Finder, and they have dates from 1 to 20 some years into the future, in the modification column, and sometimes, no creation date.
Also, files deep in the contents of some apps are losing me as an owner, leading zip to tell me "access denied".
Any thoughts as to what's going on? Other than the paranoid; there's some evil virus, whatever, running amok.

Did you check the code in your template.dwt file for errors?

Sales Order : Calcul delivery date with only working days

HI,
When I create sale order, the delivery date is calculed with the number of days mentionned in type of sale document. SAP add this number of days into the day's date.
Is it possible to calculate this delivery date only with working days in the corporate calendar ???

Delivery date in the Sales order will be calculated the calender only basedon the Transportation lead time and Pick/Pack time and excluding the holidays

I'll take great AF, great light sensitivity, Auto-ISO with exposure compensation in Manual, all sorts of usability features, but frankly the thing holding back my photos isn't the resolution...   and I only have 8Mpixels.

I understand it's a glitch. If you have any events on april 1 2012 i believe,t hat's an all day app, delete it or make it for just a period of time, not all day.
I think it has something to do with daylight savings time (but don't quote me on that) with the conflict betwen 'all day' and the ipad trying to figure out how long 'all day' is with that whole spring forward and lose an hour. removing any 'all day' appointments seem to remove that conflict.

Looking at their website (assuming it's the Daily Notes +To Do app) it says on the passkey protection screenshot on http://www.fluidtouch.biz/dailynotes/screenshots : 'Caution forgotten passkey cannot be recovered'
When did you set the passcode i.e. was it on the app when you last backed up the iPad on your computer's iTunes ? If not then you could restore the iPad to that backup (you can't restore an individual app). Otherwise if you can't remember the code then it looks like you'll need to delete the app, re-download it, and start from scratch with it.

Sales order schedule date is a (working) day before Scheduled ship date

In MRP/MPS planning, the forecast consumption is occuring for all sales orders at a date (sales order schedule date) which is always a working day before the Scheduled Ship Date (SSD). What is the logic?
Time fences are not used.
E.g. Sales order is scheduled to ship (SSD) on 30th Nov, in forecast set > Forecast items > Consumptiion > Detail, the sales order schedule date is a day before SSD.

This is a complex issue; best solution is by using APO/GATP.
If not, then in ERP only, the second best is:
1) Work with assembly processing in SO, meaning that a production/planned order is automatically created in the customer order during order creation.
2) Then, after the order is created it is scheduled, and the delivery date proposal is based on that.
3) Now you can check in the order that there are no capacity overloads, and all capacity required to produce on the proposed date is available. If yes, you're done. If not, it gets a bit complex, since you actualy need to switch to capacity planning, do capacity leveling and dispatch (PP), and the you get a new feasible schedule proposal based on that.
APO/GATP could do all that automatically!

Payment terms should calculate Payment due date based on working days

Hi Experts,
As we know that standard SAP calculates Payment due date= base line date + number of days maintained in payment terms. In this payment days are considered as calendar days and not the working days.
Example: If base line date is Thursday, payment terms says 3 days then payment due date is calculated as Sunday ( which is not a working day as per the factory calendar I use). The requirement is that payment date should be calculated as following Tuesday considering Satuarday and Sunday are not working days as per the calendar.
Can you please suggest how can we achieve this?

use BAdI MRM_PAYMENT_TERMS to set terms of payment
You can use this Business Add-In to change the following fields for the
terms of payment in the invoice document header:
o ZFBDT: Base date for due date calculation
o ZBD1T: Discount days 1
o ZBD1P: Discount percentage 1
o ZBD2T: Discount days 2
o ZBD2P: Discount percentage 2

I am trying to chart values for the last six years but only to plot the value for the last working day of the month, except for the current month where I am taking an average of the month so far. Everything I've tried has so far failed spectacularly. Has anyone resolved a similar problem?

If I understand your dilemma correctly, you may want to create a cross-tab and then create the chart off of the cross-tab. Is the data in your tables that you want to chart on something like this:
         4/30   5/30   6/30   7/31   8/29       Sept.
Row 1    20      30      10      25      20    (avg for month)
Row 2    5         10      8       15     15    (avg for month)
etc.
If so, 1) can you show an example of the data and 2) what kind of chart do you want to create?

Using a Date field to calculate another date equalling + 6 'Working Days'

I am trying to provide a schedule return date based upon an Issued Date value
The problem is that I only want the estimated return date value to include working days (6 to be precise), which are Monday to Friday.

SPGridView - sorting Dates doesn't work properly & how to display the title column as link?

I've got a SPGridView that is being filled with data from several lists. Some of them are a date-field and a title-field. I already added sorting, paging and filtering options and at first look they seem to work fine. But now I noticed that sorting dates
doesn't work as expected. If I select ascending sorting, the result is something like this:

If I select descending sorting, the result is this:

This isn't what I want obviously.
I just added the EventReceiver for the sorting like it is shown in several tutorials:

And my second problem is how to add a link to the title column. In my grid I'm displaying tasks from different lists and I want to link the title to the related task. I stumbled accross HyperLinkFields and tried this:

The actual link should look more like ...sites/MySite/Lists/mytasklistname/DispForm.aspx?ID=.... or something like that to display the task details. How could I achieve that?

Create calculated column.
Insert following formula -
="<a href='"&UrlFieldName&"'>"&Title&"</a>"
Set "data type returned from this formula is" to integer.
As a result on list view you will see the title with link to your url.
UPD: It seems that URL field is not valid for calculated column, as workaround you can copy url value in a receiver into the another text field, which is not shown on the view.

The migration strategy depends on the way the company will for forward with its accounting procedure.
I assume the project is incurring costs as work occurs, and supplier invoices are entered. At the end of the period the company need to move the value of costs which has not matched to the period revenue into a GL account representing the Work in Progress. If the model is calculating the figures on the marginal period, and not accumulated ITD amount, then your approach may be valid.
The question regarding converting the project invoices (sent to customer) also depends on the method you accrue revenue. If Revenue and Invoice is always taken on the same time for the same value, you don't need to maintain UBR&UER balances. However, if those are generated separately, you might need to convert into Projects also the old revenue and old invoiced amount per project.
Converting historic data also depends on the requirements for future reporting. If you only convert the balance of WIP, you might be missing information for reporting actual cost versus cost budgets, etc.
