Validity check failed of oracle-sqldeveloper

Hello Folks,
I have tried to install the "oracle-sqldeveloper" of the AUR with yaourt from this source Arch Linux Forums
To get the newest version I modified the PKGBUILD of oracle-sqldeveloper.
I change the package version, the url and the the checksums.
The checksums and the other parameters are correct but I got an error when I started building:
==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!
==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build oracle-sqldeveloper.
I have also tried to download the package from oracle directly and deploy it with a local http-server, but with the same result.
How can I fix that problem?
greetings

Yes, it says, that the check for the downloaded file from the oracle site fails, but I generated the checksum with md5sum and sha256sum, but it also fails with the new check sum.
That is true, that I´m new with arch, but I have already worked with makepkg and pacman.
I´m using yaourt, because I need many packages that are not in the official repos.
greetings & thx for your reply

If the github repo is trusted (which seems to be the case), why isn't the PKGBUILD updated automatically?
I'm guessing there must be a good reason, and I would like to clear that up before I continue.
    Thanks.

Yea, and also, dependencies are not defined, so it's not really a good alternative to leiningen.
In either case, leiningen is what really needs to be fixed, in my view, because that's what the github wiki points to: https://github.com/technomancy/leiningen/wiki/Packaging
And I think I know the perfect way to do it: Instead of drawing from the floating stable, why not simply draw from a specific commit in stable?
That seems like a perfect solution, because that's essentially a snap-shot, which won't change until the package maintainer decides to update the pkgbuild.
    What do you think?

I am able to install oracle ebs successfully, but not able to open the home page. Error coming is "ip address not found".Can you ping the IP address, hostname.domainname?
According to me the issue is that my server is on workgroup and not on any domain. I have given the domain name When installer was asking for domain name. I have also modified the host file for the same.Could you please post the contents of the hosts file here (you may edit the hostname/domainname values to something different as we need to see the format of the entries).
    Now i have two options:
    1. If i put the server on the domain which is passed to installer when asked.
    2. Now, what all i can do to login on application with keeping the server on workgroup. You do not have to join any domain, and you can simply set this from:
    - Right click on 'My Computer' > Properties > 'Computer Name' > Change
    - Set 'Computer Name' to <hostname>
    - Click on More
    - Set a 'Primary DNS Suffix of this Computer' to <domainname.com>
thanks for your prompt reply to my previous post. I really admire your work on forums. You are welcome :)

  • Prerequirement check failed on Oracle Express while installing EM

    Hi,
I am not an expert of EM or Database.
During the installation (I choosed the option if installing on an existing database) got a warning from the installer saying:
session_cached_cursor must be greater then 200
    job_queue_processes greater than 10
I put this setting in init.ora of an express database on Linux, but I got the same error trying installing again.
Where I have to change those values?
    Thanks much.

These may be simple questions, but here goes. Did you bounce the database after changing the settings in init.ora? Are you possibly using an spfile instead of init.ora? Check select * from v$parameter where name = 'spfile'; and if there is a file returned, you will need to to and alter session, scope=both in order to affect the change.

When you test this, are you using the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) like node1.domain.com or just node1? Oracle is most likely using the FQDN, so if you did "ssh node1 date" and that worked fine, I'll bet that "ssh node1.domain.com date" will result in a prompt to authorize the host first and that's probably the issue.
I also usually ssh over the private interface as well. That is, do both of these from the node where the installer runs:
    ssh node2.domain.com date
ssh node2-priv.domain.com date ### assuming that node2-priv is the name of the private network interface
Let us know if that's the issue.

    Hi,
    thanks.
i need some more help because first time i am working on RAC,
i am also having User equivalence check failed for user "oracle"
i got two machines, one is IBM machine and one is DELL machine installed with solais 10 (AIX installation). both machines are not connected by private network now. and no shared external HDD available now. it will take one week time to set up the HW. the user equivalence check depends the above two factors?
now public network is available and node reachability test "passed"
could you please tell me what may be the reason for the user equivalence check in my case. details are given below
i have oracle user in both machine. user creation done through SMC. home directory is /export/home/oracle

    JDev version : 11.1.1.4
    WLS : 10.3.4
    Hi All,
Recently we have migrated JDev from 11.1.1.3 to 11.1.1.4 and WLS from 10.3.3 to 10.3.4. We had security enabled in our application and use to work without any issues in our previous version (before migration). We are getting below error after migration and not able to access our application.
    Error 500--Internal Server Error
oracle.adf.controller.security.AuthorizationException: ADFC-0619: Authorization check failed: 'oracle.jbo.uicli.binding.JUFormDef@d856cd' 'VIEW'.We get this exception as soon as log in is successful. We have tried with different users including administrator who has complete permissions but got same exception. Note that same application is working in previous version.
Please help us in resolving this issue. Below I have mentioned complete stack trace.
    More details:
    Policy store : jaxz-data.xml
Identity store : integrated WLS LDAP
    WLS : standalone WLS

What we observed is that non of our application security policies are getting migrated to system-jazn-data.xml file during deployment. This was working in previous version.
