Valuation of Stock in case of projects

Hi gurus,
While making Sales order, i am entering WBS element.
After PR, PO, while doing GR valuation of stock taking place on the basis of Sales order but it should be on MAP.
And also system is not picking the business area which is mentioned in WBS but picking business area which is assigned to plant.
Please revert asap.
Thank You

Hi,
Logically both actions are correct.
Price will be as per SO,PO not with Material Masters MAP.
WBS will take plant data not from business area.

    Hi,
How to check the moving average price of a material in case of project stock?
T code or table will help..
    Regards,

    Hi,
Since project stock is a special stock, it is procured and cosumed against that particular project / WBS Element, you will not get value of it as a movong average price , may be you will get the same in project progress report. You can check report MBBS - Valuated Project Stock

    Dear Gurus
how to get the value of the non valuated inventory stock, plant wise material wise, though it is being accounted to expenditure at the time of GR itself

    HI
AS THE MATERIAL IS NON VALUATED U CANT GET THE VALUATION OF THE MATERIAL
SO NO VLAUE OF STOCK CAN BE DETERMINED BY THE SYSTEM FOR THE NON VALUATED MATERIAL

  • Non Valuated & Non Stock Materials

    Hi Freinds,
I have a query. Give me few examples for non valuated & non stock materials.
    Thanks & Regards
    Saeed Arif

    hi,
Non-stock : Materials ready for use/Consumption and available anytime  Ex: Electricity,Water etc..,.
Non-valuated : Nonvaluated materials are managed on a quantity basis, but not by value.
Ex: Plastic bags in retail malls
hope this gives you a clear view of difference between Non-stock and Non-valuated

  • Material type non valuated affected stock update?

    Hi expert,
i created PO by using account assignment "A" and material number with material type non valuated (just qty update). At the same time i processed GR, the result wasn't as like as i expected. The asset value was raised and the qty was updated in the warehouse.
Surprisingly, this result (qty update in warehouse) is also affected by using account assingment "K" & "F".
As i know, the business process by using account assignment means consumption and stock mustn't be updated  in warehouse. So how could the material type non valuated's stock can be updated at the time i m doing consumption purchase? is there any config i miss in order to make it doesn't update the stock?
    thanks & Regards,

  • Invoice Verification and valuated blocked stock

    Hi,
We are using movement types 107 / 109 for modeling stock in transit.
And we have trouble in invoice entry processing. We perform a good receipt with movement type 107 (Valuated Blocked Stock), but no 109 (storage receipt) is performed, when entering the vendor invoice (MIRO), the positions of the purchase order are shown in blank, no quantity or price is proposed.
Is there a way that MIRO transaction show price and quantity of receipts performed with movement type 107?
    Best Regards.

    Hi,
If you are receiving the material at Valuated blocked stock, then the system will not propose any quantity or price at the MIRO. Make the stock as unrestricted then only post the invoice.

  • Using a Non-valuated, non-stock material in an STO

Created a planning material with UNBW material type in ECC 6 to use to help manage shipping capacity at the mill.  Added to a sales order and it decremented the plan as expected.
Half of the mill's deliveries are STO's so now trying to get this to work on an STO.
Does anybody have advice on how to get a non-valuated, non-stock material (ideally, a planning material, but we could work around this) that we don't plan to deliver, to work on an STO?

Thx for replying.  I need the material to be accepted by the STO but also to work with planning so it decrements a planned shipping capacity for the mill.  So I am trying to figure out how to get it on the STO and be differentiated from other, normal materials that have $ value, inventory, and account assignment,  This material will only have a planned quantity that can be decremented by demand coming from either sales orders or STO's.

  • Make-to-order: COPS for  KMAT materials (Non-valuated sales stock)

    Hello,
We are working with KMAT configurable material (i.e. non valuated sales order stock).
The client is requiring that inventory of these KMAT material should be shown in the financial accounting;however as we work with KMAT, this seems not possible.
    The whole process is:
    - taking of the sales order with the configuration
    - MRP and Production order Execution
    - Settlement of the PO to the sales order
    - Settlement of the Sales orden to a given account in FI (just like "stock for customer order") - inventory.
The problem we are facing now is how to make the compensation of this account once the product is delivered.
It seems the sales order's default settlement receiver is only the PSG. can we have to use the result analysis key to calculate the cost of sales, and which valuation method can we use if I only want to settle the actual cost that settled from the production order.
By the way, I have search for the notes:Note 26459  it seems we have to run the sales cost estimate first for the KMAT.
    Summary
    Symptom
It is not possible to perform results analysis on sales order items with materials of material type KMAT.
    Additional key words
    Transactions KKA3, KKAK
    Cause and prerequisites
In make-to-order production, the inventory and the cost of sales are not posted through goods movements because the materials are managed in a non-valuated sales order stock. The only way to create postings in FI is to use results analysis (see Note 26456). If the sales order item consists of a material of material type KMAT, results analysis is not possible because no cost estimate exists for this material.
    Solution
Results analysis must be performed with a valuation method that uses profit basis C. With this profit basis, the system uses the planned costs of the production orders for the sales order instead of a cost estimate for the KMAT material.
In Release 2.2 a modification is needed for this which is described in Note 25772. In Release 3.0 this function is provided as standard.
From 3.0C onwards the planned costs of the sales order can also be calculated in a product cost estimate for the sales order. You should use profit basis E in this case.
However, if you are using assembly processing with production orders, you can only use profit basis C.
Hope the scenario is clear. Perhaps you have a different approach to work with KMAT materials.

  • How to valuate special stock E

    Dear all,
    we don't use production.
We create a sales order for a ROH material and then we create a purchase order with account category assignment M.
When we post the good receipt an FI document is created (Raw material Purchasing  vs Invoice receivable) but the system updates the special stock E only with quantity, the value is zero, so no FI posting for stock account.
We tried to put the sales order valuation class ROH in the material master but nothing changed.

    Hi,
the following note seems to be applicable to your problem:
    [ Note 983193 - Docu:Externally procurd material in valtd sales order stock|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/983193]
To be able to valuate the goods receipt for the net purchase order price , use the COPCP002 user exit. In this case, you can use any price even the corresponding net purchase order price.
    best regards,   Udo

  • Valuation Type Stock Transport Order

    Dear All,
Can a Stock transport order be created without specifying valuation type in it? If YES, then how to configure the same in SAP??
If NO, then how to ensure that valuation type and batch of a material in receiving plant remains same as in the supplying plant. In our case there are always multiple valuation types/batches for a given material in one plant.
    regards,
    Baljit

    Hello,
Would you mind to rephrase your question so we can see the relationship between <b>Oracle</b> and the stock transport?
If you can't, perhaps you could post it in a more suitable forum. Like, perhaps, SAP ERP Financials

  • Valuation of stock

    Hi all,
we have a cube where the stock levels are loaded, using the <b>2LIS_03_BF</b> extractor.
Till now, the stock levels have been valuated with the standard cost valid <b>at the time of loading</b>. In fact, during extraction we get (in enhancement) the R/3 field <b>MBEW-STPRS</b>.
Now we need to give the stock value at an arbitrary
date chosen by the user. Basically we need to use the standard cost valid <b>at that date of analisis</b>.
Do you have any idea how we could implement this scenario?
    Cheers, Davide

    Hi David,
Well 2LIS_03_BX is used for stock initialization.
To say it as every company has a particular  value,
form where it initializes its stock holdings.
In some of the cases this init. value is zero.in
such a case the values would match.I think similar is the case with you.
but in other cases where it is not zero it would give an error.
Regarding not implementing BX data source would be a
    serious error .
I hope you have gone through the document i had refered
    last time.
Anyways go through it.It would clear all your doubts as to what is the purpose of each of these data sources.

  • Valuation wise stock report

    Hi Friends,
Is there any report where we can see stock report valuation type wise.
E.g. i created two valuation types Domestic and Import. Also i created two storage location separately for both valuation type. I am able to see report based on storage location but not on basis of valuation type.
Seeking your guidance how can we withdraw report based on valuation type
    Regards
    Vivek

    Hi,
    Use report MB5L
Here in selection screen, enter valuation Type and execute the report.
    In output screen,
Double click on the GL Account, it will show the report having current details of material with stock qty, Base UoM, Stock Value and Valuation Price with Price Control and valuation type.
Do layout setting as per requirement.

  • Valuation of stock in transit for a given period

How can I find the valuation type for the stock in transit at a given period?
I have 6000 units in transit to plant 2222 and I want to find out its valuation. I believe I either need to know the plant of origin and batch or the destination plant and batch, but I do not know how to get this information.
    Thank you

    Hi,
Check MB5T transaction to find out the total stock in transit.
In order to find out the same period wise, check MB51 Report using the mov.types 641 & 101. By reconciling the same you can findout which are all pending.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Price determination in case of Project sales

    Hi All,
I  am creating a Project and creating a quotation through transaction DP82 using document type AP in
which I have assigned item category AGN.
In quotation my assigned pricing procedure gets reflected in the quotation condition screen.
But when I am creating delivery with CNS0 and doing billing with reference to delivery I find that my pricing
getting determined directly in the billing document and neglecting the quotation. I have  also tried to create
the billing document through the reference of quotation by maintaining the relevant copy control of Sales to
Billing document. But I am creating with reference to quotation then I am getting message u201CItem is not
    relevant for billingu201D.
I want my pricing should determine from quotation
I have done the following things
1 Created ZAP doc. From AP u2013 (Project quotation)
    2. Assigned item category ZAGN ,which has been copied  from AGN
3.Item category determination (Assigned ZAGN to ZAP)
    4. Maintained copy control from sales doc to billing doc (i.e. ZAP to F2)
5.I have also assigned pricing procedure key u201Cpu201D to the billing document.
Basically this issue is related to SD-PS integration from projects (WBS) to billing document.
    Regards
    Rahul

    Hi,
Check Pricing update at item level, in copying control.
In case this is set at B, make sure you set it at G. This will allow you to copy pricing from preceding document (quotation or order, etc.)
So, goto copying control, choose your respective doc. types, and at item level, check the pricing box for settings.
    Cheers.

  • Stock transfer between 2 projects of different plants.

    Hi All,
We have two plants and each plant as multiple projects. Some time it is required to transfer stock between two project which are of different plants. Currently we are using MOVEMENT TYPE 415Q , where stock transfer is done using 4 steps. Our client is insisting to do it in SINGLE step.
Please advice whether it is possible.
    Thanks,
    Vengal Rao.

    Thanks Venkat,
For the quick reply, but here I think using 415Q in MB1B  it has more than one step, and our projects are in different plants, I mean both project are of different plants.
    Please clarify.
