Value mapping with 100's of values then what to do.?

Hello Experts,
VALUE MAPPING is fine with 10 - 30 values that we can achieve by manual entry, but what to do if the values are about 100 - 200.?
Kindly help me in this regard.

I had this issue before. I entered 3-4 values and then exported the map as .mte. Edited the .mte file to populate the rest of the values & then re-imported it...

How to delete the values of a vector of map with some conditions?

I have three map<int, vector<int>>
mainmap, m1, and m2.
m1 contains;
2=>9 16
3=>11 16
4=>13
mainmap contains; (keys of m1 are selected out of keys of mainmap)
1=>10 13 0 12 15
2=>12 0 0 11 0
3=>13 0 0 0 0
4=>14 11 12 0 15
m2 contains; (keys of m2 are the values of mainmap)
11=>9 16
12=>3 12
13=>11
14=>3 9 16
15=>1 3 6 9 16
I want to execute the following tasks;
first, pointing key '2' from m1 and the correspondent vectors are selected from mainmap with same key '2' (12 0 0 11 0).
second, out of the selected vector(keys of m2) are selected to compare the values of m2 and values of m1.
here ;
11=>9 16
12=>3 12
are selected.
Out of these selected figure (11=>9; 12=>3 12) if the value (9, 16) are fully matched, that key '11' is selected.
Suppose, in case the selected figure is (11=>9; 12=>3 12), that is partially matched as only 9 is available, then 16 is deleted from the value of 2 in m1, and select the key '11' from m2.
Then, it continues up to key '4' in m1.
Could anyone help me to solve this?

2. When you say fully matched or partially matched, do you mean just in key 2 of m1?
3. What happens if there is no match?
4. What does it mean to say that a key from m2 is "selected"? What happens to keys that are or are not selected?
5. If the result of this exercise is a change in the three maps, you should at least tell us what that change is. If the result is some other data structure, then tell us what it is.

Hi,
Your question is not very clear. Let me know how you want to use Value mapping?
You can implement value mapping in two ways..
1. Value Mapping Replecation Method, in which we create ABAP program (outbound proxy) in R3 which selects data from R3 tables and sends into XI, and which get stored in XI JAVA Cache untill you run the ABAP program next time which is very rare. This kind of method is best when you have large amount of R3 data.
2. If you have some data which is used just to varify the conditions at run time then in that case we go for Value Mapping creation in Integration Directiory. Below mentiond blog will give an idea how to use Value mapping in ID.

Value Mapping is used in Graphical Mapping which gives the value at run time only, so you cannot test it in TEST Tab of message mapping.
So as per you question, BPM can come into picture later on after you maintain the value mapping in ID and do the corresponding mapping in IR.

Im already using the Value Mapping with Master data Replication on several graphical mappings. Unfortunately, some changes happened for one mapping program, the complexity increased and the graphical mapping doesnt fulfill these new requirements. So, I thought to use ABAP mapping, because is a language that I know well.
I understood your concern; we are talking about two levels, ABAP and Java stack. It will be needed a call from ABAP stack to Java Stack, but maybe there is an API for that? But, about system performance, I guess Value Mapping its better then RFC lookup, right?
My mapping problem is: I need to generate two nodes (not a field) every time the code MODI (modification) comes in a source field. Inside these two nodes, I have to fill a field, into first node, with an old id and for the second node with the new id.
I cant found any standard function to fulfill this requirement. Maybe this is easy with UDF, but Im not filling comfortable with Java and I dont know how to do it. If you know, please let me know.

I have problem with 0GR_VAL_PD kf in 0PUR_C01 cube. 0GR_VAL_PD KF has not mapped with source in 0Pur_C01 but in report level, value is coming for purchase organisation,material group .
But GR value as at posting date (0GR_VAL_PD)value not coming for particular material group or purch. org. but some days before, values were coming for particular material group or purch. org..
so need your help.

Which datasource you are using at present. Normally 0PUR_C01 gets loaded from 2LIS_02_ITM and 2LIS_02_SCL. The keyfigure that you have mentioned will come from 2LIS_02_SCL with the code that you have written.
The code that you have written should work. Please check if the code is in the transformation from 2LIS_02_SCL.
Share the details on why do you think the solution didn't work.

repeat your source node. in mapping editor you can view queues by right clicking to mapped element.. selecting Display Queues option.. this will show u your values .
You can also select this Display Queue option for splitByValue option
for example
source--->splitByValue>target
Try viewing your queues to each this step... for splitByValue in display Queue you will see context inserted(grey colour) accodingly

Domain Value Mapping with Text file

Hai,
I have done the Domain value mapping with the xml file to xml file and it is working fine.
But in the case of Text file to Text file it is not working i.e. If the citiname is the
first field it is domain value mapping and working fine.
INPUT:
Erode, Mahes, 22
Coimbatore, Veera, 22
OUTPUT:
ED, Mahes, 22
CBE, Veera, 22
But if I change the Citiname to the second column it is not working the problem is
it is not working for subsequent columns.

The input Text files are delimited by "comma" and optionally enclosed by "space".
Does anyone have attained the DVM in the Text file successfully.

Text to Text means instead of giving the input file as XML file i am giving the input as a simple .txt file and I also want the output in the .txt format.
For the text file only it is not working fine in the xml file to xml file it is working fine.

Here I am checking the DVM function for the Second column and it is not working and I have given their Inputs and Outputs in my first message .
I have another question as you told both import and export of the DVM is always in the XML format only so I have a doubt whether the lookup-dvm will be working for xml files only and not for text files.
But in my case in text file it is working for the first column but not in the subsequent columns.

In that case again you can use MV45AFZZ program and USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP. If this exit didnt work you can try in other save or prepare to save exits in this same program. For order statuses and authorization you can use status profile and control authorization through an authorization object. For email use email sending function and users will receive an email whenever some specific condition value is changed.
This will be ABAP coding in above mentioned program using implicit enhancement. There is no standard solution for this and you have to go for customization.

Look for pages that use photos for the background, even if you have other photos on the page. It'll look something like this in the layout pane:

If you have a 1 photo per page, full page, you could have that option selected and not know it unless you looked at the layout pane like this example:

XSLT Mapping with Java Enhancement

I am working on XSLT Mapping with Java Enhancement.
To do this scenario i have followed the following link.

As per the above link I have created Source and Target Data Types , Message Types , Mesage Interfaces, XSLT Mapping (using the transaction XSLT_TOOL) and Interface Mapping part and configred a simple file to file scenario in the ID part.
Apart from this I have wirte the java code, compile the java code, create the jar file using .java and .class file and after creating the jar file import the .jar file in the imported archive of the IR..
when I am trying to execute the scenario I am getting the successful message in SXMB_MONI but the target file is having the payload as given below.

And as per the XSLT mapping the payload should be as below

Hi,
The Transaction code XSLT_TOOL for ABAP xslt mapping.But the Java Enhancement is used for normal xslt mapping which we created using Stylus Studio.You can not access the Java Enhancement in ABAP xslt mapping.
If you want to use Java Enhancement in xslt mapping then create a xslt mapping using Stylus Studio and save the file as .xsl and zip the .xsl and import to import archive.

SAP XI - Mapping with Contexts

Hi Guys,
We have a problem when mapping with contexts. Couldyou please help.
What we are trying to achieve is if PARVW = X then map name2 to name2. We have done this all the way down the DT_Address. The context on both input values are set to IDOC.
The problem is that when all the fields are in a particular segment occurence then it maps perfectly. But on numerous occurrences of E1EDKA1 various fields are missing i.e.name2 or pstl2 etc. What we want to happen is if the field doesnt exist in that particular occurrence then just leave blank and dont map. What is happening instead is XI keeps looking for this field and maps the first occurrence it can find of it. So we end up with like 6 occurrences of the same thing.
Is their a way to specify that only map the fields if it is within the same occurrence as the qualifier. So basically Name2 follows PARVW to the same occurrence.
Also is their a way of making it so we dont get

It was a little to do with the context but in the end I had to put another element in the target structure. So it went
Customer 0-unbounded
        customerAddress 1-1
                   Details 0-1
                   ETC 0-1
                   ETC 0-1
I mapped the customer to E1EDKA1
I mapped customer address to a constant
and the details I ampped as before but with no context.
This seemed to work.... I have no idea why but it did work. If anybody could explain the why, I would appreciate it.

How to create a Mapping with Input Parameter?

I have a target table where the primary key column should be loaded with an Input parameter value. How can we implement this? Let me know if any examples are available?

Use a map input operator in your mapping. In the outgroup add an attribute, mapp the attribute with the column and then you can start the mapping with an extra input parameter.
