VAT added my invioce

Skype just renewed my subscription for my Skype number and I can see a 15% vat is added.
I have a company and have informed Skype about this when I made the skype number last year.
The VAT should not have been added so how to I set up my account to avoid this in the furture?
And what do I do to get the invioced correct for this one?

VAT (value added tax) is applicable to EU residents and is calculated at the Luxembourg VAT rate of 15%. If you live outside the EU, you will not be charged VAT.
If you are a company and wish to register your VAT number, Skype Manager allows you to register your company details and VAT information. You will not be charged Luxembourg VAT when buying Skype Credit if you are a non-Luxembourg business and if you provide us with your EU VAT number. Moreover, I checked your account and it shows that you've purchased Skype Number subscription from your personal account, thus, you've been charged for VAT. If you wish not to be charged for VAT, you should purchase Skype Credit from your Skype Manager account and use the credit to allocate Skype Number subscription to any of your member's accounts, and please note that you can only assign Skype Numbers to members with business accounts in Skype Manager.
To allocate Skype Numbers to the members with business accounts:
1.  Sign in to Skype Manager™:https://manager.skype.com
2.  Click Features in the toolbar.
3.  In the Features menu on the left, click Skype Numbers to display the Skype Numbers for your members.
Note that only members with business accounts are listed.
4.  Tick the box next to the members to whom you want to allocate Skype Numbers.
5.  Click Allocate Skype Numbers.
6.  Specify the country of the Skype Number and click Continue.
7.  Choose the area codes to use for your Skype Numbers, select the Skype Number from the list displayed, specify how you would like to be billed and click Buy now.
The Skype Numbers will then be allocated. It may take a few minutes before the Skype Numbers are displayed in Skype Manager and your members can start using them.

    VAT can be inventoried or can be used for Set-Off based on how material behave to the business. VAT can be inventoried, you should have a condition type with assigning of NVV key in tax procedure .VAT can be used for Set-Off , you should have another condition type and assigning to an accounting key ( For example: ZZV {new on}not to the NVV key certainly) in tax procedure in OBYZ t.code & in t.code: OB40 , ZZV should assign to G/L account for VAT Set-Off.
    For VAT - inventoried & VAT -Set-Off, you should maintain records(FV11)with respective condition type for VAT - inventoried & VAT -Set-Off with individual tax code with tax rate.
    For VAT can be inventoried, it will affect on accounting in MIGO transaction adding VAT amount to Inventory Account.
    For Set-Off VAT, it will affect in MIRO transaction.
    Generally CST always inventoried by business, it will affect on accounting in MIGO transaction adding CST amount to Inventory Account and you have to have a condition type for CST with assigning of NVV key in tax procedure, tax code for CST and maintain record (FV11) with CST condition type with CST tax code with a tax rate.

    But what is the use of condition types in pricing procedures.JINFAC- JEXP, JEAP....
    To my knowledge JINFAC - is used in excise invoice creation

    Have you seen description of those condition type in respective Pricing Procedure in V/08?
    As per my understanding, in pricing procedure JINFAC - IN:Factory sale, JLST - IN A/R LST represents and JCST - IN A/R CST represents VAT and CST, respectively.

    Yet when I click "Sign Up", I get a price of £27.34:
    Also, you'll notice from the screenshots above that the regular annual subscription price is different.  Note: even with 20% VAT added to the £22.23 price, the total should only be £26.68.  The regular price on the second page is also actually less than what it would be if the first page was showing prices without VAT.
    Please could someone tell me the actual prices I'll be paying!!

    Ireland's VAT is 23% thus giving you the £27.34 ; not nice but ......

    But basically I'm sending an invoice and some products have Vat added on and some don't, so I'm trying to find a formula that will add 20% on to three prices then add the to the total at the bottom like shown in my image below.
    I have done a formal but it doesn't work of course.
    Oh and i just remembered its in Pages I'm doing the formula not in numbers but I guess the table part is the same?

    For this particular invoice, I think this formula will do what you want:
    =20%*(C2+C3+C8)
    Where the * is the multiplication sign.

    hi everyone!
    i m consumer of apple products for a long time and i live in UK. it is very sad that we UK consumer always pay lot of money to pay apple products. eg, now in uk iphone 5 price started from £529($798.93), on the other hand us price started from $199. which 4 times more then us consumer. hope this may draw some attention to apple's marketing department and give us(uk consumers) reasonable cause. however i always love apple product and waiting to have new iphone in my hand ASAP.

    You're comparing the subsidized iPhone price, which requires signing a 2 year carrier contract, to the normal unsubsidized price.
    Also, there is a VAT added in the UK.

    If the cost of the app is close to $10 - there could sales tax or VAT added onto the purchase as well. Here in Pennsylvania the state sales tax is 7% in the county in which I live. The app would have to cost less than $9.35 or I would exceed the $10 balance in the account.
    It may also be a way of simply identifying that you are who you claim to be - a verification process if you will. Apple is currently increasing security measures in the app store and iTunes.

    I have an issue where VAT / Service Tax on purchase of Plant and machinery, furniture and vehicle was debited to VAT / Service Tax Receivable account to set off the VAT / Service tax liability.
    Now the same is not eligible to be set off against the respective liability and the tax amount has to get added to the repective assets.

    Your answer was helpful for me, however I got the solution from the following way:
    In the process I got a message saying "There is no item category assigned to account 23470050/1000". So went and assigned item category 01000(Balance sheet)for that GL account and then passed a JV in F-02.
    Entry in F-02:
    P.Key 70 Debit asset with Tr Type:198(TAX JV)
    P.Key 50 Credit VAT Recievable account

    As per the current practice, the Inventory valuation is going wrong as the VAT portion comes to the Inventory a/c at a subsequent date (when AP Invoice is done) instead of on the date of GRPO.

    My exact requirement is ...
    There are some Inventory Items purchased with (Vat input not avaIlable) for my company.It means that Vat is not applicable for those Items.
    So the Vat part of the amount should be added to the Item cost in my Inventory valuation.
    But my situation is that , i need to show vat calculation at Purchase Order level as per my Vendors request.After that ultimately total document cost should be my Inventory cost.
    This is where i am struck.

    We want to configure new gl account for vat output payable in billing, i have done the settings but i am getting error like "error in account determination" so that no accounting entry is coming in new gl a/c.
    i have created new account key - OV34
    assigned in OV 35
    gl account and account key assigned in VKOA
    and finally i checked in OB40 their is no option to create a new transaction
    apart from this any other settings is required for this.

    If you create account key in transaction code OBCN then only it will appear in OB40 transaction account keys tab.

    I realized that for companies in Mexico and Chile the Vat number is compulsory to add a BP. But in the US localization is not compulsary as it lets you add it without a problem.

    One product company offen give some free goods to its customer company for test or probation. In pricing, the free goods have no income so that the value-added tax is zero, but by the law, the product company must pay the VAT(value-added tax) base on the cost of the free goods.

    Hi,
    You need to bring in a consition type "VPRS" in your pricing procedure. The VAT will be determined based on this condition type. VPRS is a statistical condition type. That means eventhough it appears with a value it will potentially not be displayed in your invoice. The invoice value will be 0 and there will be no account posting for this condition type
