VBAI 2010 Fatal Error (NaN to number)

I'm getting a fatal error (see attached banner image) that I have never seen before in VBAI 2010: A NaN value in a calculator step gets interpreted as a large negative number (-2.14E+9) in a subsequent Create Region of Interest Step, which in turn causes the subsequent Edge Finder to trigger the fatal event.
The root cause, in this case, is a missing measurement (a frequent occurence for this and other similar calculator steps in this routine), the x-coordinate for an edge enpoint in previous step, from which I subtract a 2, i.e., I'm trying to set an ROI boundary 2 pixels away from the previous edge found. Typically, when I have a missing measurement in this situation, the subsquent ROI ends up at the image origin (0,0), but VBAI does not crash.
I fully undestand why VBAI crashes with an ROI edge set so far out in "Left Field", but I'm at a loss to explain why an NaN caclulator output get's interpreted as -2.14E+9. When stepping through the routine in Configuration mode and editing the Create Region of Interest step, a message indicates that a "missing measurement is being replaced by a constant" or something to that effect, and the constant turns out to be -2.14E+9, so I assume that this same process takes place in the background when in inspection mode. But what I don't understand is why my routine has never thrown this error before when the measurement was missing, but as of this morning, it throws the error every time!
I've got a temporary work-around (check for NaN in the calculator step and force to zero if needed), but I have a large number of similar sequences to fix and want to make sure I understand why this fatal error suddenly appeared.

This is fixed in VBAI 2011 and newer. It will no longer crash with the updated VDM dlls and in VBAI, if a previous measurement used by the ROI step is NaN, the ROI step will treat it as a missing measurement and the ROI step will fail. The reason NaN gets cast to a huge number is because NaN is only valid for double values, and the ROI coordinates are integers, so when we internally convert the NaN to an integer, it gets interpreted as a large number. Not sure why this would just start happening today though.

I'm already using BadItemLimit of 50. The largest corrupt message that was skipped is 10.
We're on Small Business Server Standard Edition which only permits one mailbox store. I should mention that the interim machine (where Exchange 2010 is installed) is a Hyper V virtual machine

Hey guys. Since 24 days Im trying to update my Cloud to the CC 2014 but when starting with PS, the installation fails by the fatal error exit number: 7. Whats to do?

Yesterday I tried something, by deinstalling the Cloud App and PS, but still the same error remained.
What I also don't understand is the term: Reinstalling the product. Is it meant, to deinstall every app, just the Cloud app or only the app where the error occupies?
By Reinstalling I also understand: Uninstall the app and the install it again. Is this correct?
I am surprised anyway. Once everything is fine and then within one day, nothing runs anymore. I read about, using a disc clean app as Clean My Mac 2 can destroy the structure of adobe products some how... but hmmm... this sounds very strange.

Whether you created a feature called AnalyticsLinks and activatated it at SharePoint 2007 site.
Whether you installed the feature at SharePoint 2010 site.
Please deactivate the feature AnalyticsLinks, then migrate SharePoint 2007 site to SharePoint 2010, compare the result.
Also , please check whether you have installed the feature AnalyticsLinks at your SharePoint 2010 site. If not, please install and activate it, compare the result.

Fatal error during installation

I have been attempting to update my version of Boot Camp from 2.1 to 2.2. I have tried on numerous occasions with Apple Software Update but it never installs when the computer restarts. I have Vista 32bit installed on the partition. I tried to update with my Snow Leopard disk to 3.0 but it says the installer encountered errors before Boot Camp could be configured. It also does this with my Leopard disk. As a last resort I tried to repair the Boot Camp Services from the Windows Vista control panel and I get Fatal Error During Installation. Any ideas?

Since you only give one of error log and the Error 0x80070643 code is a common error, we need more information to diagnose the problem. Before you collect the logs, you should follow up these steps to install Visual Studio:
1. Re-download the Visual studio from Microsoft official site here:

After download you should use File Checksum Integrity Verifier tool to verify the integrity of your download. If the values don't match, your download may be corrupted and you should download the file again:

Visual C++ Fatal error during installation

When I was installing Titanfall on Origin I got a 1603 error. I looked at some forum posts on fixes.
I have uninstalled all of my VC++ from my computer and when i tried to download and install fresh copies every single one results in a fatal error durring installation.

The error log is incorrect. I am using Windows 7 Pro.
I was able to install MS VC++ 2013 redist.(x64) and VC++ 2005 (x64) just fine but I cannot install 2010.
Eh? Never saw an install log where Win 7 was identified as Win XP x64.
What, exactly, are you trying to install? Are you installing Visual Studio, or C++ redistributables?

Seems like an unpatched oracle is the reason ,

LabView Run-time engine 6.1 fatal error on install in XP Pro

I downloaded an application which uses the LVRTE to decode audio signals and display them graphically. I then downloaded the latest (?) version of the RTE installer for Windows .../XP from the NI site and it shows a version number of 1.1.0.0 if I move the pointer over the file. When I try to install the RTE using this file, I get a small message box with the title "Fatal Error" and the text "Installation ended prematurely because of an error" and no other clues. I've disabled the antivirus s/w (Norton) and the firewall (Zonealarm). I've even searched through the registry to see if there are any entries with either "LabView" or "National Instruments" in them and found nothing.
I'm running a properly li
cenced (yes, I paid real money for it) version of XP Pro with all the latest patches installed.
Any clues as to how to get the thing to install would be gratefully received.

Fatal Error Acrobat failed to send a DDE command

Hello all. I have a fillable form I developed using word 2010. I am trying to convert it to a PDF form. I open acrobat and select star from wizard from the Forms menu. I browse to find the word document and open it. I save the PDF document and everything looks good. I get a progress bar that says "Please wait, reading Adobe PDF". This is very slow progress and then I get the Fatal Error message "Acrobat Failed to send a DDE command". I click ok and the progress bar continues still very slowly. I get the same message again. I click ok and the progress bar continues. The progress bar gets to the end and just stays there. Nothing happens. I waited for an hour and then cancelled it. When clicked cancel, the PDF document opens with my form but without any fillable fields or drop down menus. I tried to do it again a few times and I get the same error message. I am using Adobe Acrobat 9 pro version 9.4.2. Thank you in advance for your help.

AA 9 will not work for anything but the print function from WORD 2010. The only version of Acrobat that is compatible with OFFICE 2010 for PDF Maker is AA X. Thus, open WORD and print to the Adobe PDF printer. Then open the pdf in Acrobat. Go to FORMS>Add or Edit fields. Since you have no fields at present, Acrobat will ask if you would like to detect form fields. Answer yes and you will get a first cut at the form fields. Yes, you will likely have to add some more and change the ones that Acrobat estimates, but you are on your way.
The other two options you have is to go back to WORD 2007 or earlier or upgrade to AA X (or find someone with AA X and WORD 2010). These methods are pretty much your options with the software combination that you have.

Need help. I have my pilot lync 2013 pool up (in coexistence with 2010 production environment) and can log into Lync 2013 environment with a lync 2010 client but am not able to with a lync 2013 client. It just prompts for password but will not
take it. I'm sseeing this on my front end server multiple times:

All my certs are good coming from internal CA. My signin logs show below but keep in mind, this works just fine if using a 2010 lync client to my lync 2013 servers. Issue only occurs when trying to connect using a lync 2013 client.

As Lync client 2013 attempt to query in order to perform autodiscover of the Lync registration server. First
lyncdiscoverinternal.<sipdomain> Host (A) record and then
lyncdiscover.<sipdomain> Host (A) record. If neither of these records are resolvable then the legacy DNS SRV and A record fall-back process is used. So make sure you have add the two A record in DNS server.

Sysprep - Fatal error occurred while trying to sysprep the machine

On the 4th attempt to sysprep a Windows 7 Enterprise system, I get the dreaded, 'A fatal error occurred while trying to sysprep the machine.'
The setuperr.log shows:
2010-08-04 13:57:58, Error      [0x0f0073] SYSPRP RunExternalDlls:Not running DLLs; either the machine is in an invalid state or we couldn't update the recorded state, dwRet = 31

I've seen articles referring to the Windows Software Licensing Rearm program may have issues running more than three times in a single Windows image and to add <SkipRearm>1</SkipRearm> in the /unattend file... but this did not help.
The Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service has also been disabled which is often referred to in other posts.
The KB article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947212/en-us indicated that the resolution is to re-create the image for the machine... This is very frustrating. I'm hoping that there is
a better resolution???
How do you sysprep a machine more than three times to avoid this error?

Fatal error while filling connection pool

I was not getting a connection to an Oracle database and I was getting the following error in cms.log: "FATAL Connector - Unable to create connection pool for T_Orbis_Oracle: Fatal error while filling connection pool for jdbc:oracle:thin:@MESDB:1521:ASPENB21" where T_Orbis_Oracle is the xMII link name and the database ASPENB21 is on server MESDB. I changed the database username in the link to SYSTEM and I then got a connection and a Created Connection pool message in the log. I then changed back to the username which originally was giving the error and it now also gave me a successful connection. I am now worried that there is an issue in the background which is gradually building up and will begin to fail again as previously. Can anyone explain what is causing this problem and suggest how I can correct it? Thanks, John.

Check you have installed the JDBC driver ojdbc14.jar (works for both 9 and 10).
Also check the server package:
MII 11.x--->ServerPackage com.lighthammer.Illuminator.connectors.IDBC
MII 12.x--->com.sap.xmii.Illuminator.connectors.IDBC
Carefull when you set up the string because some oracle databases have servicenames instead of SID, and the url was different if you use them instead of the SID.
For services names the url is jdbc:oracle:thin@host:port:SID
Also check your Network firewall between MII and DB and ports too.
Oracle9i installs with a number of default accounts.You must unlock all other accounts before using them. Oracle recommends changing all user passwords immediately after installation.

RC-50004: Fatal: Error occurred in ApplyDatabase: Control file creation fai

Hi guys,
I am cloning and EBS 12.1.3 from one server to another, and when Configuring the target system database server with ''perl adcfgclone.pl dbTier'', I am getting the following error:

MOS is saying that it is due to wrong permissions on the /var/tmp/.oracle directory and we should give it the following permissions:
chmod 777 /var/tmp/.oracle
After giving those permissions and rebooting the server , and running the perl adcfgclone.pl dbTier script, I am still having the same problem:

Hi Hussain,
After successfully configured the DbTier and AppsTier with their respective post clone scripts the appstier was automatically started at the end.
But now, I can't seem to connect with my IE 9 and Firefow browsers.
