Very Urgent issue on credit memmo and vendor invoices

HI,
User here has a credit memmo for $ 395 of a vendor.We have received an invoice from this vendor of $ 95 in this week.Next week we will receive invoice for $ 100. Then upcoming week receive another invoice of $200.My question is when we received invoice for $ 95 i would like to make payment and wait for next invoices. But i want bank clearing to happen only after i receive all invoices. How do i keep track of these invoices . If i have hundred's of vendor's this way how to deal with this.Could anyone tell me how to clear these invoices which T.code..

Point one is u said the vendor has a credit memo of $395 that means you are owing him right.
and lets go to youe example
Partial Payment: vendor is paying some amount now and remaining amount will pay in future
Ex: Vendor has to pay $395
and paying now 95 remaining 300  will pay in future till that 300 display as a open item
Residual payment:
Vendor have to Pay 395 but he is paying 300 means 95 he will not pay then it will go for residual payment.
95 will not show as a open item for that you have to create two accounts
1)Income account
2) Expenses account
for example:
1) You have to pay 4000 but you are paying 3800 means 200 is gain for you
2) You have to receive 4000 but you received 3800 means 200 loss
These two accounts you need assign in Automatic Account assignment:OBXL
Gain account CR side and exp account DR side
In your case it is accepting partial payment because the other amounts remains open items
F-44 is used to clearing of downpayment against open item( since creditmemo is kind of downpayment i.e you owe money to vendor
and ur doing Residual clearing in tcode f-53.
U have to enter the reason codes for the difference amount. check that .

    Hi Gurus,
    Is it possible to have wbs element in customer and vendor invoices, which will allow to see project wise invoices in FI reports?? If yes, how? And if no, what is the general business process for such scenario???

    I Believe this is possible yet not practical for the reasons there is no one to one match between WBS and Customers / Vendors. You can have multiple WBS for a single customer invoice / Vendor invoice.

    Dear all,
    we are facing a issue related with vendor account actually MIRO post for the amount is showing difference compare with vendor invoice,
    please consider this scenario:-
    we are having vendor bill/invoice for Rs 1110/-
    but in SAP amount is showing 1105/- showing a Rs 5/- difference
    we found that this difference is showing becuse of we are maintaing material on single quantity whareas we got the price from vendor on BOX or bulk qty when we are deviding this price with the quantity the price will come on 4 decimals again here also we are maintaing two decimals. 
    from this we come to conclusion that this problem will occure again and again
    so it is advaisable to create a LOSS DUE TO AMOUNT ROUNDIG OFF account and posting these differnce to this gl to clear the open item that is showing in vendor master.
    Here please suggest me how to resolve this issue
    a)for the current scenario we are having many MIRO which we sre posted having the difference of only RS 1,2,3,4,5,

    Hi,
    if you go to SM30, view V_169L, you can configure what is considered as a "small difference". Small differences are then automatically posted, see account configuration in OBYC.
    However, I think this is designed if the vendor really invoices you a little bit too more or less. But in your case, this is not the problem. The problem is, as you have realized, that the price unit is set to small (actually, to 1 PC). The proper solution is not to post the differences away, but to stop this incorrect calculation. Small diffs should only be posted if there really were some small diffs!
    Example: agreed price with vendor is  1,001 RS per piece. As you keep your RS currency with two decimals, the price in SAP would be 1,00 RS.
    If the invoice is about 1000 pc, then the correct price is 1001,00 RS. This is what you see on the invoice and this is also correct. However, within SAP, you will see an expected value of 1000,00 RS only, so you have a difference of 1,00 RS.
    You do not need to touch the material master to fix this. Only thing you need to maintain is the PO line, where you have entered the price as 1,00 (rounded!!!) RS by 1 pc.  This must be changed like this: 1001,00 RS by 1000 pc. Then it will work fine.

  • VERY URGENT: Issue with Reconciliation against SAP Enterprise Portal

    Hi,
    We are using IDM7.0 and we have SAP Enterprise Portal as a resource. The users in portal are from Active Directory.
    When I am doing full reconciliation against portal, it is processing only certain accounts. The reconcilaition policy is to link accounts. It is not linking teh accounts. Moreover, these accounts are not found in UNMATCHED accounts also. I don't have any account exclusion rules or something.
    I wrote a small code snippet, which does just a single account reconciliation of a particular user id. In this case the portal account is being reconciled and linked properly.
    Any ideas what the issue might be?
    And I have another question too.. in the schema attributes of the out-of-box SAP Portal resource adapter, I don't see any ammping entry for "accountId". Usually for other resource adapters there would be entry for accountId (e.g in AD, mapping is: accountId <---> sAMAccountName). In case of portal, do we need to explicitly set this mapping? If so what would be the right hand side name in the schema? Does the right hand side name changes from one deployment to the other? If so how to determine what attribute maps to accountId in our portal? Might this lack of accountId is causing the issue with the reconciliation?
    Any leads would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks for the reply. I have already set up correlation rule, account linking options for different situations like FOUND, UNASSIGNED, UNMATACHED etc. If my linking configurtaion is not correct then the fetched accounts should be atleast in the account index with situation as UNMATCHED. But that is not the case.
    I am not sure if I made my problem difinition clear earlier. The problem I mentioned is not with "linking" of the accounts. The problem is IDM is detecting only some accounts. Among those set of accounts which IDM was able to fetch from portal during reconcilaition, it was able to successfully link the matching accounts to identities in IDM.
    My question is, why IDM is fetching only certain accounts and not all accounts from portal resource.
    As I mentioned earlier, when I run my code snippet to reconcile a single account, it reconciles successfully and links to user identity in IDM (if a matching idenity exists based on my correlation rule). But why the reconcilaition at the resource level is not able to fetch and reconcile teh same account.
    Regarding the accountId attribute in the attribute schema, neither the SUN documentation nor the resource adapter configuration tells about the name of the attribute on the portal side that it should match to.

    I have an issue related to the functionalities of the transaction F110.
    I'd like to clear the vendor invoice with the custome invoice.
    Customer and vendor records are linked properly and the flag 'Clrg with Cust.' is set on vendor and 'Clearing with Vendor' is set on customer.
    Both the invoice are in USD and the amount in document currency of the vendor invoice is > of the amount in document currency of the customer invoice.
    I entered in both the invoice the same payment method (outgoing payment method).
    The error that I can see in the proposal log is related to the customer invoice and is:
    Payment method selection for items due now to the amount of USD          500,00
    Due items with currency USD, pmnt method  - items total is > 0
    ..none of the payment methods defined can be used for these items
    information re. vendor xxxxxxxx / customer yyyyyyy / paying company code TS01 ...
    .. payment not possible because of reported error
    According to the log of the proposal the vendor invoice can be paid.
    If I click on display proposal and double click on the customer invoice (with red light) I can read the note:
    No pymt possible because items with a debit
    Following the settings of the payment method used:
    Payment method in the country
    - Payment method for outgoing payment selected
    - Bank transf. selected
    - allowed for personal payment flagged
    - Bank details flagged
    - Document type for payment XX
    - clearing document type XX
    - Use classic payment medium program selected
    Currency allowed: This table is empty (will mean that all currencies are permitted)
    Payment method in company code
    Minimum amount: 0,01
    Maximum amount: 9.999.999.999,99
    Distribution amnt: 0,00
    Single paymentfor marked item selected
    Foreign business partner allowed selected
    foreign currency allowed selected
    Cust/vend bank abroad allowed? selected
    Bank selection control "No optimization" selected
    Can you please help me to understand the error?

  • Issue-How to book costs-Vendor Invoice

    Hi,
    I have got following scenario.
    I got several POs raised for procuring goods from a vendor.
    The vendor send the shipment combining these PO.
    The goods are cleared by local agents(vendors) and they also charge for clearing the goods.
    All these costs needs to be added on to the materials in PO so before actual GR,POs needs to be modified to incorporate those freight or clearing costs as conditions.
    Once that is done then the GR is done & subsequently Invoicing is done.
    While conditions were added the appropriate vendor is selected in the condition so that it will be different than the original goods supplier.
    Now the problem which we face is that sometimes we receive partial shipment for the PO.
    So we can book the additional costs only once while booking an invoice.
    Take an example:
    I have a PO with 100 line items.
    I receive the shipment & local vendors clear the goods & while doing that I incurr say 100 USD cost.
    This 100 USD cost comprises of 3types of different conditions defined like freight clearing,Demmurage cost,Others cost.
    So before doing GR in system user adds these conditions as header conditions so that it gets apportioned on all items & subsequently upon GR it also gets loaded on to material.
    Now assume that out of this PO, I have yet to receive delivery for 20 items.
    So when these 20 items actually arrives on a later date, the local agents again clear those goods.
    But since we are referrring to the same PO we can not add these 3 conditions again in the PO.
    Now if we have to book an vendor invoice for that and at the same time I want thos costs to be added on all the materials how can I do that while doing MIRO.
    If I happen to add them as unplanned delivery cost then I will have to manually split the cost on to each item depending upon the value of each line item which is practically a very difficult & painstaking task.
    Is there any way by which we can improve upon this.So far we have not find any solution on this.
    Request to suggest a better suggestion if any one has.

    Case 1: if we receive 12 qty and if we do invoice for 12 qty, finally we will come to know that 2 qty is spoiled and we will do credit memo. In such situations whether we do the credit memo before or after return delivery????

    Hi Balu,
    If you create an invoice for 12 Qty in Tcode MIRO and then process a Credit Memo for 2 Qty in the same Tcode then it is imperative that the goods receipt is also reversed in Tcode MIGO. When the goods are returned it can be reversed in MIGO. Once the entries are reversed in MIGO the GR becomes 10 for which you can appropriately raise a Credit Memo in Tcode MIRO. If you do like this your Goods Receipt (GR) and your Invoice Receipt (IR) will always match.
    If you create a credit memo in Tcode MIRO with out reversing in MIGO, in that case your returns to vendor will not be accounted in Stock and your Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt will not match.

    The tables will be AP_CHECKS_ALL and AP_INVOICE_PAYMENTS_ALL. For the date when the payment was made you need to see which date column is relevant for your case.

    We have an export scenario, we are using TA order type, and we have some conditions like freight, insurance..
    but we have a problem.
    we don't how we can link vendor invoices with this sales order.
    i want to use miro to enter freight invoice, which comes form my vendor.
    But there is no PO. Because this is a sales operation.
    What is the best way to add this fregiht and insurance costs to this material??

    Hi,
    From sales perspective create manual conditions for entering the Freight and Insurance values. 
    From MM perspective, you need to have a PO even though its a freight invoice.  If you are planning of this option then you can copy the condition to SO through reference condition type.

  • Credit Memo and AR Invoice Query

    Hi Everyone,
    I'm fairly new to query writing and need to write a query that would list all of the credit memos and invoices.  I was able to write the following query that pulls just the AR Invoice info.  How do I also pull the AR Credit Memo info? 
    SELECT T0.[CardCode], T0.[DocNum], T0.[DocDate], T1.[Quantity], T1.[ItemCode], T1.[PriceBefDi], T1.[StockPrice] FROM OINV T0  INNER JOIN INV1 T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry ORDER BY T0.[CardCode], T0.[DocNum]
    When using the generator it does not link the tables together in any fashion.  I tried to just add the ORIN and RIN1 tables to it (as I can just have them listed below the invoices), but SAP appears to just lock up and I end up closing the application. 
    I searched the forum as well and found that there is a link between the two and it is:
    RIN1.BaseEntry = OINV.DocEntry
    and
    INV1.TrgetEntry = ORIN.DocEntry
    However, when I try to add these joins to the query, it ends up showing a credit memo for every single line, and I know that is not correct.  I know there are different types of joins, so perhaps I'm using the wrong join or something?

        There is a customer invoice got generated through edi by company code 4000 to 8000.The cusotmer is 100100 and the company code to which it belongs is 8000 and simultaneouly a vendor invoice of same amount got generated automatically in company code 8000.The vendor is 200200and it belongs to 4000.
    Now i want to reverse these whole entry. As here in the above, vendor invoice is got generated automatically, like that only we want that when we reverse the billing document, vendor invoice should automatically get reversed.
    Can anybody suggest on this or any procedure to solve this.

    I have a small issues in the solution you gave me.
    I am getting the correct values when i implement the below formula you gave me.
    But i am getting incorrect values when i want to have average values.
    Lets say,
    I have 3 records in 2007 05 ( may month)
    I am getting the correct data for the 3 records, but when i have result for the 2007 05 month its giving different values.
    eg:
    K1(plant)     2007(yr)     May     5/29/2007     9.06     15.29     24.35
                   5/30/2007     7.50     21.43     29.33
                   5/31/2007     7.36     15.25     23.01
                                           Result     3.02     7.14     9.78
    It should be  sum of 3 records / no of records)
