Video display with Flex

Hi everyone, this is my first time here.
The first thing i want to say is "please, forgive my english,
present or future mistakes, i'll try my best to explain everything
i want to say"
Here is my problem: I encoded and deinterlaced videos in DV
codec using Adobe Premiere 6.0, then i encoded these videos in
Flash On2 VP6 Data rate 700 kbps and audio MP3 128 kbps (i tell you
all the informations i have =p ) using Flash 8 Video Encoder.
The thing is, when i play them with a player i found on the
net : FLV Player 1.3.3 the display is ok but when the file is
played with an application the society i work in developped, it's
like i never deinterlaced the video: moves = lines around the
characters (i call it brush effect).
Now i can recode the videos, deinterlace them a second time
with another software and it works but it's a loss of time and i'd
like to know if the problem comes from the flash player used in
Flex or if i should change Adobe Premiere. Has anybody encountered
this kind of problems and resolved it?

Streaming requires FMS, but you can use progressive HTTP
download instead.
Just point the VideoDisplay component to the .flv file on
your web server.

How to play live Video Stream with Flex?

I'm trying to get Flex Builder 3 to play a live video stream with Flash Media
Server and Flash Live Media Encoder.
I'm able to stream pre-recrorded (vod) flvs in flex from flash media server.
I'm able to stream live video using Flash/FMS/Flas Live Media Encoder, but not
with Flex.
This code streams pre-recorded Video on Demand flvs, but not live streams:
If I change source to "rtmp://localhost/live/livesream.flv, I get nothing.
What am I doing wrong?

That worked! Thanks *very* much. Stupid of me to forget to set the live attribute to true. Also removed the .flv. BTW: what video component do you prefer?

Reboot and video display with an R4850-512M [ Solved ]

I do not know if this is a problem with my video adapter, the MSI R4850-512M, or my video monitor, a Viewsonic VP950b. When I reboot an OS, the motherboard, the MSI K9A2 Platinum, correctly reboots. The video monitor shows a blue light when it is receiving a signal in normal operating mode and a red light when not receiving a signal. I have connected the video adapter to the video monitor using a DVI connection.
Upon reboot the video monitor's light goes from blue to red and I hear the beeps from the mobo as it reboots. It appears the mobo is successfully restarting but the video monitor's light often stays red and a "No Signal" message shows. I can usually get around this by quickly manually turning the monitor's power off and back on again, after which it picks up the signal from the video adapter, shows its blue light and the display screen. But I should not have to do this, and if I do not turn the monitor off and on quickly enough it completely loses the signal and never show the screen. Somehow the signal from the video adapter is not reaching the monitor on a reboot sequence.
Does anybody know how to determine what the problem is between the video adapter and the monitor ?
If I shut down the computer and then power it on, this never happens and the video monitor always picks up the connection from the video adapter as the system powers on, and the display is successfully shown.

The plug on the back of the monitor connecting the cord to the power supply was not in securely. Once I pushed it all the way in the monitor has worked properly. Thank goodness it was just that.

Video display with FM Trasmitter

Does anyone have problems with their video iPod and an FM transmitter. I have an older transmitter to listen in the car. I just updated and got a video iPod. When I plug it into the transmitter, black smudges appear on the screen. They go away when I plug the iPod back into my computer. Anyone else seeing this?

Video display with a local FLV

Hello,
I use the video dislay component for playing a flv
(vd.source='video/video1.flv'). When i use on my website, it's
running. But I need to work in offline on CD-Rom. So when I copy
all files from 'bin' directory to another different directory, the
flv don't play.
Have you a explanation ?

Problem with video display with FinalCut

When I view a media in the canvas window or the viewer window, the image is very dark (very very dark). When I view the same media through quicktime or the finder, the image is clear. What is the cause of this problem???

Viewer and Canvas windows don't show you the true quality of you image, it's just a reference. You need a dedicated monitor.

After having to reinstall my drive with applications I get a message with Premiere Pro CS5 that it can't find any "capable video play modules" and asks me to "update" my "video display modules". How do I do this? I am using a mid-2010 iMac 27" with 10.7.3

Premiere is an Adobe application and is supported in their forums.

Premiere cc 2014 crash with message "Adobe Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules. Please update your video display drivers and start again."

I updated to Premiere Pro CC 2014, all the other Adobe CC 2014 software works great, but Premiere doesnt even load. The starting page (frame) comes up - my whole computer slows down and after a minute or two it crashes completely and comes up with the message : "Adobe Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules. Please update your video display drivers and start again."
I'm running a macbook Pro 15" (2014) with 16GB RAM and 760GB SSD.
PLEASE HELP!

Hi Delarey,
Please go to the following location and rename the folder to old_folder name
User/user library/Application Support and rename Adobe folder
User/user library/Preferences and rename the Adobe folder
Then go to Documents folder and Go to Adobe/Premiere pro/8.0 and rename 8.0 folder
Make sure that you are in user library if you are not sure check the link below.

Problems with the video display in iTunes.

I was hooking up my PowerBook G4 to my television, so my sister could watch a television show that I had downloaded, while I worked on some stuff online. I don't know what exactly the term for how I had it connect is, but I had my laptop connected to my televisionn so that when I drag the video box off my laptop screen to the right, it appeared on the television. That was fine until I dragged the box back into my laptop's screen. I made the video display so large that the shrink/enlarge tab on the bottom right corner of the video window is off my screen under my dock bar. I've tried exiting out of iTunes and even restarting my computer but iTunes is keeping the video screen that large and I can't figure out how to shrink it, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pressing F9 and then clicking on iTunes didn't do anything, but I can close iTunes anyways, that isn't the problem. It is just the seperate video display window that is the prblem . As for the other suggestion I cannot right click, so I definatly cannot right click on the window. However if you know of a way I can get it to normal or even original size with out right clicking, that would be helpful.

Video display issues with Mac Pro and GeForce 7300?

I'm just wondering whether anyone else has experienced any video strangeness with their Mac Pros with GeForce 7300 cards? Basically, twice now I've had the mouse cursor stop responding and the entire screen turn black, then a second later everything's back to normal (with the cursor moving and the display back). I seem to recall a similar issue on my Windows PC with a Quadro FX 1100 card, so I'm hoping it's just a video driver issue.

I am not sure if its the monitor, the MP, or the video card, but, I have had my computer completely replaced after reporting to my local Apple Store about my G5 fans over heating and my monitor either not being able to wake or refusing to sleep. I called AppleCare and did all the normal trouble shooting but they said take it in to store. But now that I have a brand new MP 3.0 I am getting the same issue but no fan noise. I have a 23Cinima HD (the strore said it was fine when they had both my computer and monitor in) but last night after hours of inactivity the monitor had the screen saver on but didn't got to sleep. I then put in to sleep but when I got up this morning I couldn't wake it up. When I got my new computer (3 days ago) I didn't migraite any of my old stuff. I have been slowly reinstalling all my software and updated anything before I install anything else as an added attempt to not have any bad files. I have 2 gig of ram and 500 hd with the 7300 card. I am at a lost I checked and rechecked all my setting. The only other thing I have connected is my airport extreme base.
Any idea's anyone?
Ops one last issue, I have blown my apartment circut breaker three time while attempting to start the new PM and once it did it when I was trying to wake it just by tapping the space bar. Is it the computer being more power hunger?

How can I display Flash Videos without any Flex application decoration

I develop a flv video player with Flex3 and have problems to
get rid of the application decoration (frame, border and the like)
that is part of a standard Flex application. My video player is
200px x 200px and I only wanna see what the video shows, so that
the Flex application allocates 200px x 200px.
It is not clear to me if this can be reached through special
tags resp. attributes or if I have to do something in the CSS
area.
