Video from keynote goes black on touch

Hi, my videos from keynote go black on click on ipad. Is it possible to change that behavior? I tried to make shape for the whole with opacity 0% to take all clicks (taps) but that ain't working I need this so I can get rid of video controls and autoplay feature Any idea?

I've checked the above referenced section in your book and there is no guidence on how to fix or work around this posted issue.

This what I've tried so far:
Downloaded photos from the iPhone to the computer. Videos and photos transferred without problem.
Plugged in the iPod Touch (2) and all photos synced just fine, but no video appeared.
While the iPod was connected I looked In the menu bar of iPhoto, when I chose movies, none were listed.
I cannot find an item listed in the settings menues that seem relevant.
I have emailed the movies successfully from the iPhone 4s.

Hi and welcome to Apple discussion.
Usually, when I get this message, that means the movie/video is not able to be play using my iPod touch. So, what I'll do is that, I'll open the movie/video in QuickTime and share it to iTunes. Then, my movie/video can be transfer into my iPod.

How to transfer videos from MacBook Pro to Ipod Touch?

When I plug in my Ipod Touch it only opens up itunes and iphoto. I have no option of copying videos onto my ipod.
It does not come up as an icon on my desktop either.
Can someone help me solve this problem?

Ona Mac, the iPod does not appear on the desktop or in Finder.
You import videos into iPhoto the same was as you import photos in iPhoto. Videos just appear along with photos in iPhoto.

Export video from iMovie with maximum iPod Touch quality specs

We got an iPod touch to playback short films (made in iMovie) using Apple's composite video cable connected to a projector.
The published *TV and video* specs on the iPod touch webpage shows what the iPod Touch should be capable of playing back the following:
[1] +- H.264 video, up to 1.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Low-Complexity version of the H.264 Baseline Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats;+
[2]+- H.264 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Baseline Profile up to Level 3.0 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats;+
[3]+- MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats+
Exporting from iMovie using the *Share > Export Using Quicktime...* option and adjusting the settings to match any of those above creates files that iTunes refuses to copy to the iPod.
iMovies' *Share > Export Movie...* and iTunes' *Advanced > Create iPod or iPhone version* create videos with a bitrate of only ~1.6Mbps - both of which don't look great projected on a big screen.
Has anyone had any success exporting video at the published 2.5Mbps spec AND been able to copy them to the iPod Touch?

Figured out how to get HQ 2.5mbps video on the iPod Touch.
By changing one of the options in iMovie's "Export using Quicktime..." option: "Export: Movie to MPEG-4 > Options... > Video Options..." resulted in a file that works on the iPod.

Select the 'Baseline' profile ONLY (deselect the default 'Main' profile) and the iPod Touch will accept the file at 2.5Mbps - and, oddly, even bitrates higher than that, I managed to put a 20Mbps file on the iPod Touch.

I'm running vista I have some home movies that were transferred to DVD,which are now on my laptop.How do I get them on my I touch??????????

what format are they in?
can you play them in iTunes (or using quicktime)? if you can you will be able to sync them like other movies (may need to create an ipod version, by either right clicking on it when it is in itunes, or using the advanced menu)
otherwise you will need to convert it to a format that the ipod will recognise.

Making High Res YouTube videos from Keynote

Using the "export" function, how can I make high-resolution videos to take advantate of YouTube's better resolution functionality? I'm baffled by all the options and settings and don't know which setting to use to be able to upload the right video format to YouTube so it will play in High-Res.

Use the Custom format with Fixed Timing on the transitions. Set the video codec to be H.264, 30 fps, and make the size 640 x 480. Use AAC for the audio at 44.1 kHz and 128 kbps stereo. This should look very good in the new higher-rez option.

How do I get 720p res video from ipod to mac

I'm told the default video res setting on the 4th gen Ipod touch is 720p. The only way I can currently get a video that I've shot to my Imac is to e-mail it to myself, which works but knocks the res way down. Do I have to purchase a third party software to transfer a full 720p video that I've shot to my Mac? Anybody had success with a particular piece of software?
