View Output/View Log options are redirecting to browser automatically in Oracle Apps 11i

Hi,
Can any one please let me know the what is the option to change popup options in oracle apps 11i.
My requirement is when I click on view Output/View Log options it should pop up there itself rather than redirecting to browser.
Application version is : 11.5.10.2

To use batches in AP, you need to enable a profile option.
Can not remember the exact name.
Log into system administrator responsibility and find for profiles starting with
AP% you should be able to determine what is related to enabling batches.
Set the profile to Yes

LOGGING|NOLOGGING specifies that subsequent Direct Loader (SQL*Loader) and direct-load INSERT operations against a nonpartitioned index, a range or hash index partition, or all partitions or subpartitions of a composite-partitioned index will be logged (LOGGING) or not logged (NOLOGGING) in the redo log file.
In NOLOGGING mode, data is modified with minimal logging (to mark new extents invalid and to record dictionary changes). When applied during media recovery, the extent invalidation records mark a range of blocks as logically corrupt, because the redo data is not logged. Therefore, if you cannot afford to lose this index, you must take a backup after the operation in NOLOGGING mode.
If the database is run in ARCHIVELOG mode, media recovery from a backup taken before an operation in LOGGING mode will re-create the index. However, media recovery from a backup taken before an operation in NOLOGGING mode will not re-create the index.
An index segment can have logging attributes different from those of the base table and different from those of other index segments for the same base table.

View output should popup the lov containing EXCEL,Browser etc

Hi,
We are on 11.5.10.2 and the other instance is on 12.0.4,
We have one requirement in bothe the instance, When we are opening a "view output" to open the concurrent requests output file, We need to get the popup (LOV) to choose excel, browser etc
I got one doc:184375.1 but i am not sure, This is the perticular doc
Please help me out to make this setup.

Steps are

2. INSTALL > VIEWER OPTIONS
3. Created valid MIME for Excel
Format Type     MIME               DESCRIPTION
Text          application/vnd.msexcel     11i Excel
B.
1. System Administrator Responsibility
2. PROFILE > SYSTEM      -
3. Check the PROFILE > SYSTEM OPTION - Viewer: Text
This can be Blank to continue using the TOOLS > COPY FILE function or it can be set to browser to be able to choose a Viewer Option.
Now the Required functionality is working.

Oracle Apps 11i: Output Post Manager is down

Hi Experts,
I was working on Oracle application cloning 11i lately and after completing the clone, my conc. manager output post manager (OPP) is not coming up in target system.
I tried to fix the issue by running "cmclean.sql" and thn ran autoconfig on application node, but still the issue persists
The logfile for FNDOPP(outout post manager) says:-

In ICM log file, I see occurrence of these error messages in bulk.It looks Mangers are wrongly defined or fnd_nodes having some incorrect values.
Do I have to perform the application clone again or is there any another way to fix it.

Apis for attaching profile options to a responsibility in oracle apps 11i

Hi,
Appreciate your help.
We are automating the process of creation responsibilities.
1. I have created new responsibility using the fnd_responsibility_pkg.load_row and responsibilities created successfully.
2. There are few profile options which will be used (GL set of books,HR user etc.,) and is there any api's to attach the profiles to the newly created responsibilites or can i go and directly insert a record in (apps.fnd_profile_option_values).

I believe you need to use FNDLOAD to attach those profile options.

When I try to open any file in bridge my only options are a web browser and mail program

I am using CS6 and am a member of creative cloud. When I open bridge and click on a file it tries to open in mail. I went to preferaces and looked file typ assosiations and had none by every file type I changed ai files to illustrator so that works now. Is their a way that I can just reinstall it so they are all their. If I click reset associations it does nothing except remove illustrator from ai files.

You can uninstall and run Adobe Scrlpt Cleaner, then reinstall. That works for most people.
If you are confrotable with going into the registry, and you have Win7 you can try this.
Go into the Registry, HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\Photoshop.exe\shell\open\command, and change the (Default) from "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64 Bit)\Photoshop.exe" "%1" to "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)\Photoshop.exe" "%1" (so changed CS5 to CS6) - and should see 'Adobe Photoshop CS6' in 'Open with' list when right-clicking an image...

Need formatted EXCEL output, from View Output,Oracle Applications

To view the report(Normal RDF report,not XML Publisher Report) output in EXCEL, I changed the Profile Options.
From: System Administrator Responsibility.
Navigation: Install -> Viewer Options.
Added the below entry.
PDF application/vnd.ms-excel Microsoft Excel
Now when I submit the report, after completing, when clicked to View Output, I can see the list showing Browser and Microsoft Excel.
I saved the Excel Sheet,but its not formatted. How do I get the formatted Output. As columns are not in proper shape.
Please do the needful.

Unable to view output from concurrent manager

Hello all,
I am unable to view output from concurrent manager, I am using IE 8 32bit on Windows 7 & adobe 10.0.1
It gives a blank page
We are trying to view an xml report
EBS 11.5.10.2
db : 10.2.0.
linux 4 update 5
I have already reffered below documents but for no luck

Is the issue with XML/PDF concurrent requests or with all requests?
Can you find any errors in Apache/Database log files?
Is the application listener up and running? Can you find any errors in the listener log file?
Have you tried to run AutoConfig and bounce the services and see if this helps?

Check if your output file exists on $PRODUCT_TOP/$APPLOUT, where PRODUCT stands for GL/FA/AP etc..

Report not showing proper output in apps 11i

Hi,
I am new to oracle Apps 11i. I Have created customized reports . But Layout showing in builder and oracle apps 11i are different. The differernce is distance between the fields. Also labels and fields not showing full (truncating) value. But the same report giving proper output in repots6i builder.
(i.e all customized reports layout showing 1/2 the width in oracle apps 11i)
I will appreciate if somebody can give me some suggetion regarding this issue. Also I would like to know any template avaliable for 11i reports development.

please make sure that in report builder fields must not contain any bold text , any line or any color b'coz apps11i reports are character mode reports hence if ur report contain any of these mentioned above give format different from the one it shows in report builder. u have to add one by one field and and run the report in apps environment .. in this way u have to move forward... guess it will help u....
