Visibility in CSS buttons

I know this is probably really simple to do but I'm stuck. I
want to have CSS rollover buttons in which both the a and a:hover
are dispayed on rollover. The idea is to have large black text as
links and on rollover, smaller beige text appear on top of the
black text. I know I could use images to do this but it seems kind
of silly to do that... I'm guessing I'll need to use the display or
visible properties but how??? And also, if I want the active link
to display both (the black and beige text) on load. Thanks.

Have you set the paths for your images and css as ... src="/images/" etc?
In BC CSS, JS, images etc need to start with a forward slash to say "read from root".

Can you drag and drop the attachments visible in the email to the Desktop OK or does that fail ?
Re the sending: Are these recipients on Mac's or PC's as the file type could be an issue, if on Mac's then try setting the Mail Preferences Composing setting to Plain Text not Rich Text and see if that improves things.

I know how to add a hyperlink to text or image but am stumped with the CSS buttons provided by DW.

Doing my first web page and was trying out the CSS buttons in the widgets. Can't see where to set the property for the web link.

CSS Button Links in HTML email not working in TB

Greetings,
Our company is creating an html email for customers and we are noticing the CSS button links don't work when viewing in Thunderbird 31 and 32 beta.
Does TB require unique coding to get these to work?
Any assistance would be appreciated...

From the point of view of a user who views received email messages in Thunderbird, it doesn't support scripting. Straight links should work and and you can attach a link to an image.
Note that Thunderbird does NOT offer active links in the Compose window. So however you create it, you won't see it as the recipient does unless you save it and view it as a draft.

CSS Buttons in Blog Module Template Help

I am using css buttons for my social icons in my blog side bar. I have included the css stylesheet in the overall blog module template as well as well as the button text. The icons appear when I view the blog in list view, however when I try to view an individual post, the icons do not appear, just the button text. The buttons work on all other web pages within BC as well. Thanks for any help

after i made the button i get 3 files : index.html , rage_style.css and the a png file
how do i integrated this to my iweb site?

You need to place html code that is produced into the html snippet on your website and click apply for any code to work on your site. An index.html page is no good to you, to be used in iWeb as iWeb has no import facility.
Take your html code and place it in an html snippet and see what happens.

Inserting CSS Buttons in Muse Site?

In Widget Library section, you have a State Button widget in composition.
You can use that button and apply different states/effects to it and create a hyperlink to it.

I have to make a button for a website in which the labels
will be DB driven, so i came up with css to make such buttons, but
the problem is i need the buttons to work in almost all browsers
(from version 5 - 7 IE, FF 1.0 -2.0, Opera 7 - 9 Netscape 6- 9,
safari and Mac IE and FF), The buttons are also designed in a
specific manner (i.e the button label will be having a break if
there are two words in it and will be aligned center to the
container. the edges of the button are curved and has a gradient
effect.)
I am not able to get the text centrally aligned also the text
goes off the container and gets hidden behind the right side image
in FireFox but in IE it manages to stretch the container but
doesn't gets aligned to the center, thats because i guess i am
specifying width to the container.
Any Help will be highly appreciated.

Dynamic visibility with Push buttons

Hi ,
Could anyone please guide me how to use pushbuttons with Dyamic visibilty option.
Eg:-When I click on Push button1-It should display a bar chart
When we click on Push button1-It should display a bar chart

Hopefully it's OK to ask a similar question here rather than create a new thread.
I would like to use the Label Based Menu component in conjunction with an invisible Toggle Button component (or possibly the new Push Button component). The hidden button would insert into the same cell that the Label Based Menu component is inserting into. This allows me to create what looks like a hyperlink in my dashboard that simply affects dynamic visibility.
This seems to work for the most part, except that the Label Based Menu does not change to reflect the current state accurately. For example, if both components insert "Apples" or "Bananas" as values into cell A1:
1. Toggle Button component successfully inserts "Apples" and dynamic visibility works, however
2. Label Based Menu component still shows "Bananas" as the active menu selection
I thought I had come across a feature in some components where you could tell the component to update itself based on the changing values in a given insertion cell, but I don't see that now for some reason.

Hi All,
can someone look here and let me know why my 'Service' button only works once? When you drill down to, say... "Project Management," the service button from all subpages will not work. You have to goto another banner/header option (ex: about us) and click "Service" again to get to the main service page once more.

This is really a ActionScript (Flash) question since your Primary Navigation is Flash. The AS (ActionScript) is coded to disable after clicking to it's parent page.
Since the child pages are under the parent the nav is still disabled. You would have to recode the AS (Flash Nav) to enable when navigationing to it's child page.

Setting the visibility of a button after a click on a TabbedPane

I have a page with a Tabbed Pane.
I would like to set the visibility of a command button when I click on a Tab.
To do that I put a disclosureListener like this:

Based on the code you provided it does not look like you are using a partialPageTrigger, which would be required in this case.

CS5; Properties; CSS Button Missing (Newbee)

I am reading a book and taking an online course, but this applic does not seem too intuitive here, so foregive me, but...
In DW CS5, in the Properties window at the bottom of the screen, I have neither a CSS or HTML button. Can someone please explain how I get them to show?

I'm on Windows 7. The screenshot shows when I've got my '#container' selected, but there's no CSS or HTML buttons regardless of what is selected. I've tried resetting my view by clicking 'Designer; Reset Designer' or by clicking 'Classic; Reset Classic', etc.

CSS - Buttons (Display vs Inline)

I'm using CSS to create rollover buttons with an image
defined in the #navigation a, and an alternate image in the
#navigation a:hover. Unfortunately, the display: block; forces a
break and doesn't allow me to set the images next to each other -
And the 'inline' won't allow me to work with the spacing or
backgrounds properly (it broke when I tried inline). Is there a way
to get around this so I can sit these buttons next to each other?

Centering CSS-buttons - Help from CSS Guru wanted

Dear group,
I created a site for a friend in which I wanted to do all the
navigation
with CSS-rollover-buttons. Actually it works fine until I try
to center the
buttons. For the buttons, which are located in the
footer-section, there is
no problem, they center fine?!
So I thought to be clever by creating a container with the
same attributes
than the footer, in which I place the buttons. But to my
surprise it didn't
work. Trying to center the #wrapper didn't bring the wanted
result. The
navigation still stings to the left of the page.
Now I have set the width from the container to 40%. But this
is no solution
and looks messy:-(

thank you for your advice. I changed the CSS as follows:

width: 100%;
text-align:center;

and left the html as it was. The result is much better than
my solution,
but doesn't center the buttons:-( With a width of 200px, the
buttons (on
pages with 3 buttons) are no longer displayed inline:-( On
the German page
you can see better, that the buttons will not center (maybe
because the
button texts are longer). And on the photoindex-page you see
it the best.

CSS buttons help

Hello,
I am so new at this but I created a button navigation bar using Dreamweaver CS4 and I created it using Spry. At first the menu spilled over to a second row and I played around with the CSS settings and finally got it to a single row but it doesn't fill the entire length of the row. I am also getting a gap between the banner and the body of my pages. grrr... How can I do this?
