VPP purchasing for another company

Is it possible that we purchase the some codes for an app through VPP and give them to another company to use it ?
It is because some of our customers cannot purchase apps by using company credit card.

  • Purchasing for different company codes

    Hi Experts,
    Running SRM 5.0 and experiencing problems when trying to implement the following scenario:
    User A located under one company X/pur.org XX/pur.grp XXX should be able to place a PO through Process PO (Only through PO direct, no SC used) transaction for another company Y.
    In attribute BUK of User A both company codes are maintained.
    When placing the PO for User A the purchasing org YY and pur.grp YYY of company Y is selected (as well as the location for Y). PO is placed for the "other" org.
    The next transaction User A does is to place a PO for his "own" company. The pur.org XX and pur.grp X is defaulted from the org.structure. When trying to select the location through the find search the location of the previous transaction is the only one displayed (location for Y), as if the system thinks the user is in the "other" company code. It is possible to manually enter the BP number of the right location. However all validations against the PO still is made against the wrong company code..and the PO can not be placed
    Is this scenario not possible through the Process PO transaction? Are there any settings that can be made to get around this?
    Would appreciate any input.

    What is your requirement, do you want to create same Line Item from One Purchase Order A for CC 1001 to Another Purchase Order B for CC 2001?
    If this is the requirement, simply under document overview you can select the Purchase Order, then copy the required line item from that Purchase Order. and then you would need to change the Org Data for Purchase Order under Header details. Also you would need to check for Vendor Master (might might not exist for diff companies). Also there could be a recheck you might need to do for accounting iinfo you are entereing for PO Line item.

    No, it is a Verizon-only device.  And, most likely, the other company wouldn't allow it as it would be incompatible with their services.

    Well I think it is, Kris, though I don't know if anyone looks very hard at exactly who gets the in-house apps. After rereading your original question it seems like you might be intending to join the Enterprise Program personally or have your company join. Not seeing that at first I may not have given you enough details.
    I think your client (the corporation or whatever entity it is) would need to join the program, not yourself or your company. It can't be a personal membership as the Developer Program offers, and if your own company joined the Enterprise Program, that still wouldn't allow you to distribute apps in another company. Apple requires a Dun & Bradstreet Number and the signature of someone who has the authority to bind the company to a contract.     But if you're concerned the contract limits your participation, that's not the case. "limited to 'in-house' and 'employees of my company'" refers to distribution of the app not development. I'm sure your client (i.e. the Enterprise Program member) is free to obtain the services of anyone they want to develop, integrate and maintain their apps, and I can't imagine their contract with Apple says anything about the developer's relationship or lack of any relationship with the Program member.

    There are two (2) users with authorizations only to their company codes (CC):
    User1 can create/save/delete park/post a doc in CC1.
    User2 can create/save/delete park/post a doc in CC2.
    User1 can create and park an InterCo doc in CC1/CC2.
    User2 can create and park an InterCo doc in CC2/CC1.
    <Q1> How can I restrict User1 to post ONLY the parked InterCo doc, but not post any other doc in CC2?

    I have looked into the Auth. Object F_BKPF_BUK, but it doesn't cover me!!!

    That won't work. here is the scenario:
    1) UserCC1 will park an InterCo doc with 2 lines (credit to CC1, debit to CC2)
    2) UserCC2 should go ahead and post this newly park document
    3) UserCC2 should be able to post ONLY the InterCo park documents associate with his/her CC.
    4) UserCC2 should NOT be able to post any other doc on any other CC.
    Is it clear what the goal is?
    I have concluded that in oder to control it, I need an Auth. Object for CC (which I have already) and another Auth. Object that conttols 'Docyment Type'.
    Do you know what Auth. Object controls 'Doc.Type'?

    Dear Experts,
    This requirement is for an IT service project.
    The process is - I have two company codes Comp code 1 & Comp code 2, In which Project is created in company code 1. Employees are assigned to project to onsite & offshore from company code 2. This means the employees are created in the company code 2. But working for the project in Comp.code 1. Comp code 2 get revenue thru intercompany billing based on number of hours/days the employee worked in the project created by the com. code 1. The employee books the timesheet in comp code 1 against the project id.
    To acheive this
    1)  i need to maintain same project for two company codes?
    2) Or same project, one wbs for one company code & other wbs for another company code?
    Will the above two possible to work in SAP? or
    anyother we i can workaround this

    This is possible through Resouce Related billing in PS.
    For e.g. Consider business scenario, where we have created T-10006 as a customer project.
    Now this project is mapped using a work breakdown structure that contains activities.
    The activities define the flow of the project and form a quantity structure for determining costs and payment data automatically.
    The project cost plan is used to create quotations.
    When the sales order is received, it is assigned to the project. This means that it can be used to plan revenue and then post this revenue.
    Actual costs are entered when activities are confirmed, components are purchased and when invoices are assigned. Actual revenue is posted to the project by means of milestone billing.
    Two companies are responsible for executing project T-10006.
    Company 'A' is mapped using company code 1000 and performs all services except for those planned in WBS element T-10006.1.2.
    Comapny 'B' is mapped using company code 2000 and performs some of the engineering services. (WBS element T-10006.1.2).
    Here Comapny 'B'  bills its services to Company 'A' on a resource-related basis.
    A results analysis is carried out for the billing elements T-10006 und T-10006.1.2 in the project.
    The results analysis values are settled to the profitability segment.

    I have a number of quesitons to answer to figure out if Busienss Manager is the best tool for our company. The ONLY reason we are pursuing changing from individual accounts is that Share Screen has been removed from some of our accounts with the latest Skype update.
    Can we port existing Skype account names to Business Manager?
    Will Skype contacts be kept?
    Is 'Share Screen' part of Business Man.?
    Is it east to add and delete user accounts in Business Manager?
    What are the admin issues?
    Can more than one person be the administrator? Is it easily transfered?
    The Business Manager literature refers to credit allocation, tracking and reporting as a benefit of Business manager. Credit is not a concern for our company as we seldom use Skype to call phones. What are the other benefits of Skype business Manager?

    Up until a few weeks ago I would certainly reccomend Skype, but my advice is for youy to look for another company.
    Skype doesn't care about it's business customers, I and others have been trying to buy credits for week but the system is broken with no fix in sight, I was told it would be fixed by the end of the week, it hasn't been!!
    Read for yourself then go look for another phone provider, Skype is not responsive to business customers!

  • How to prevent WBS element for other Company code to be used in WO

    I am new to this forum and want to try this out.
    This thread is regarding: Area: plant maintenance, create/change work order, message control in wbselement in tab "Addit data"
    Detailed explanation:
    In our SAP system we have the functionality that when a user enters a wbs element in a Work order (Addit.Data Tab) he gets an error message CJ065 if the WBS element is from another Controlling area.
    We want in addition the functionality: show error message CJ 066 when the WBS element is for another Company code.
    I have searched in message control within PM, but here is only allowed to enter messages for application area IW.
    I have also tried to search for other message classes without finding where in customizing to maintain message class CJ.
    Please help

    I have thought of that solution (using customer exit at save), but hoping maybe there was a setting in Customicing eather in CO or in PM to make message CJ066 appear. When looking at the source code it looks tlike there is a setting in customizing to be triggered, but I cannot find out where..

    In CO82, define groups of order types. Define number intervals and assign number intervals to groups. Organize order types that you want to assign same number interval under groups.

    There is already configured SAP HR solution for say 1000 Company code, Now I am implementing for another company code 2000, Client has requirement to transfer employees from 1000 ( company code ) to 2000 ( company code ).

    According to me as company code is an legal entity, We need to resign the emplyee in one company code and hire him in another company code. What you say? OR any best SAP Preactice ?

    Hello Jay,
    You need to have different PAs for different company codes and assign those PAs to the respective company codes (check IMG: Enterprise Structure -> Assignment -> Human Resources Management -> Assignment of Personnel Area to Company Code).
    Now you need to run action (transfer or org reassignment) wherein you will change the existing PA (belonging to one company code) to another PA (belonging to different company code). This way the employee master in IT 0001 will show different company code from the date of such action
    Goto PA40, choose Transfer actionChange Info group
    0001 COP
    0006 COP
    0009 COP
    0007 INSS
    0008 COP
    0014 COP
    0015 COP
    0588 COP
    OR
    Perform the action Organizational reassignment in PA40 for that employee and change the personnel area. by changing the personnel area the company code will cahnge automatically
