Wake up calls

I have a new landline number and for some reason there is a wake up call set for 5am. I have already called once and the agent could not find it on the account. i had just set up the voice mail. The agent said that should clear out any previous setting. I am still getting these wake up calls and I dont know how to take them off. There is no menu option to delete a wake up call. There is only options to set up wake up calls.. Please help...

There is nothing really built in these apps to do that easily, but there are plenty of 3rd party solution that integrate with CUCM for hospitality market. Novotek comes to mind.

  • How to make "efficient" wake-up call?

    Hi,
Are there any means to force I-Phone to ring longer than 2 seconds for wake-up call? I can not find any setting to make wake-up call ezcepted "meeting" or so in the calendar. Is ther something you can suggest?
    Thanks

Is it possible to make an alarm for an event in the calendar app continue to ring until you shut it off?

Yes Rosetta has been gone for over two years. You can always search here for how Michael Lax's instructions on how to run SL Server in a virtul environment, but I don't think it is too kind to gamers.
Advice? Buy an old Mac that runs PPC software.

  • ROBO call blocker is blocking my wake up calls

I've had wake up calls for 3 years using my FIOS landline voice mail. I also  Implemented robocall blocker about a year ago.
Within the past week, the blocker is now stopping the wake up calls.
Verizon, how do I get around this?  I've added the voicemail number that calls with the wake up call to my accepted list,
    still no resolution.

    dezyndiva wrote:
that's part of the problem.  I don't recall now how I set it up.  However, It's illogical that I would have to turn it off
just to get wake up calls.  Why now is the blocker recognizing the wake up call as coming from a robodialer,
it never blocked it for the past year.
With FiOS digital voice, there is no native "ROBO call blocker" so you must be using something else.  If you're using something like nomorobo then it uses the simulatenous ring feature which can be disabled if nomorobo (or some other service like it) is blocking the call.  You check your simulataneous ring setup.

  • Wake Up Call to Extension

    Hey Guys,
Does anybody know of a free service that allows you to send wake up calls to an extension through specified phone number? It would really help me out a lot.
    Thanks!

You can use my script "alarm call". for CUCME and CME. It can be acquired on the website mentioned in my profile.

  • CUCM Wake-Up Call

I need a product or feature to schedule a call to an IP Phone for use as a Wake-Up call for hotel guests.
This can either be scheduled by the guest themselves or by reception.
IPCelerate sounds like it could offer this, but the price says no ($31k list).
Has anyone else come across anything similar?

Do you still have this?  I am new to CUCM and trying to figure out how to do this.  Visited your site, but  nothing seems to be free... Would you be able to provide a sample of how this is done or a setup guide on how to implement what you have created?  Thanks in advance

  • Wake Up Call

Just getting back from the holidays I'm beginning to hear a lot of stories from people who left Verzion Wireless. As a holder of a not insignificant amount of shares of VZ stock I find this very disconcerting. I also was one who just switched 4 phones from Verizon to AT&T. I was a long term Verizon customer. Verizon claims to have the best network and I believe that to be true. However we have found there really isn't anything wrong with AT&T's network in the areas we use it. Verizon is clearly OVERVALUING the quality of its network. Unless Verizon stops being Very Greedy, and starts valuing it's long term customers, the bleeding will continue. I think it's time to sell all of my VZ stock. (Special thanks to NATE in Newington, CT for letting me switch my 4 phones to AT&T). Wake up Verizon before you lose many more of your 'customers'.

  • Using mm50 and wake up call

I now exchanged my ipod classic with a nano 5G and wanted to use it same way in the morning for wake up as my classic. So I put the nano into my logitech mm50 at night with the wake up time set to 5:45am. But instead of being quite the nano wakes me every 20 minutes. This behavior is only shown when docked in the mm50, not if I use the build in loud speaker. And the classic didn't show this behavior either.
    What did I do wrong?
    Thanks and best regards

  • The great 2 am wake up call

I'm really starting to get irritated and ****** off. Every day at 2 am my husbands phone resets over and over again until we power it off.  From looking around I cannot find if there is a resolution to this or not.  We both have the Droid incredible and it is only his phone that is doing it.  My husband is at the point where he is ready to throw the phone in the garbage because of this issue.  Can anyone tell me what I should try.  He hasn't installed any new apps recently and this has been going on for a week.

check for new updates, it might be the phone trying to install a new update? my thunnderbolt did that when the 2.3 update came out...

  • Pages Wake Up Call?

Well, I'm wondering if Apple is going to let itself be trumped by Microsoft again? If it doesn't get Pages 5 into a more robust word processor, the recently announced version of Microsoft apps for Word etc., will get a running start, especially for business enterprise users. That would be a sad event and so unnecessary and a pain for those of us who have tons of documents in Pages '09!

I suggest that you pass your message along to Apple directly, as this is a user forum and by now we all know the issues with the latest iWork apps.  So either Menu > Pages > Provide Pages Feedback or http://www.apple.com/feedback/pages.html.
    Thanks.

  • Frustrated - Wake Up Call 4 Lenovo

Didn't know where else to take out my anger...  Yes, this is a rant!!
Almost $5,000 later, 2 days after delivery, no computer!!!!!
So I ended up buying the best ThinkPad Lenovo makes at the moment, the W530, fully loaded...  I thought I was getting a "fully loaded" laptop, instead I got a "fully loaded with crapware" laptop.  Trying to remove that junk is a total pain in my collective rear end.  I spent well over 12 hours now trying to delete all that junk and with the help of a few retarded TS agents, my brand new W520 laptop is no longer operational.  After two days, I'm still working with my T61P and waiting for a recovery disk.  Total BS, you buy a brand new car, they don't pack it with junk in the trunk and advertisements; essentially, those tons of software like Norton antivirus, Lenovo makes a commission when you buy it.  Take it and shove it where the sun don't shine I don't need that crap!!
I never asked for that junk trial software.  I never asked for a recovery partition, I never asked for that stupid 14 GB Q drive either.  Even once it's all said and done, I'll have less disk space than my 5 year old T61P  which both have the same size HDD (180GB).  Honestly that's just bad business ethics, greed has finally rubbed off on the Chinese.  I been a ThinkPad owner almost since they came out (CS710), when IBM made them, I don't think this is how a long time buyer should be treated, by reducing their productivity.  I asked for no addiional software, that might be a tip-off that packing an HDD filled with useless rubbish and half filling an HDD which I paid almost $500 for is literally a kick in the crotch.
Delivery was late, I would have gladly coverd my own shipping, the computer came with virtually no manuals, there is very little documentaion online about removing that junk and when I speak with TS, only 1 out of 5 agents I spoke with had a clue of what was going on.  At least they spoke regular English and the Indian I spoke with was the usual "can you repeat that again", "I didn't hear what you said" talk slower, etc.  I feel bad yelling at them because I used to work in TS but at some point I'm gonna have to be a jerk and ask  to speak with someone who speaks NORMAL English.
The keyboard is ok but I don't like what they did with the new key placements, for example, there's keys missing, they're not set up like any other computer you use.  So for those who read this for buyer advice, if you heard that the new keyboard sucks, well, it doesn't suck that bad, just takes getting used to but it types a lot better than the one on my T61P.  Plus, for the nostalgics, there's no blue/purple ener key, which was one of the features that characterized the ThinkPads.  Trying to get rid of IBM's legacy?  No true, long time ThinkPad owners will accept Lenovo as the ThinkPad builder nor forget who made the brand so great.  For starters, IBM is a much better company than Lenovo but I prefer Lenovo taking the brand than Dell or HP.
It's a great laptop in normal terms tho.  It's fast, snappy and responsive.  As far as hardware goes, it's bang on, no complaints on the hardware at all.  The crapware really ruined the "ThinkPad Ownership" experience for me and depending on how things go in the near future, I may be left with no choice but to get a refund and/or never buy another ThinkPad again, which would break my heart because I always owned ThinkPad laptops.  I'll definitely be leary about buying another one.
STOP THE MADNESS LENOVO AND GIVE ME WHAT I PAID FOR!!
I asked to get half of what I paid on the HDD and was refused, instead they told me they were gonna issue a full refund.  That's not what I wanted!!  If I pay $500 for 180GB, take away the 25-30 GB needed for the OS, that leaves about 150 GB of free space, there's no reason why I only have 75GB free; take away the Q drive and some of the crapware is about 90GB free space.  Oh well, I'll wait for the recovery CD and if I can't get it to at least 110GB free space (Bare), I'll be filing a complaint with the consumer's ombudsman.
I agreed to have the OS, I never agreed to get a bunch of software I don't need.  ThinkPads were built for business and IT people, which I do both.  Professionals don't need fluff and junk, just functionallity, speed and flexibility.  Never in my life have I ever seen such disregard for loyal customers and junky software in one place at the same time ad I worked with a lot of junkware in other manufacturors but Lenovo seems to want to have the fame of "Most CrapWare Included", which they are leading by a mile.
Thanks for hi-jacking my hard drive and ruining my fun.

I don't know. From my perspective, the inclusion of trial offers, etc. is pretty standard and a clean OS reinstall on an SSD takes maybe half an hour. Most technically-inclined people I know typically wipe and re-install a clean OS as soon as they get a new system. Lenovo provides all the drivers on their support site, or you could just install Lenovo System Update and let that download the system drivers and software after the initial OS install.
Also, as to the storage capacity of the SSD you bought, if you can afford to spend $5000 on a W530, you can afford to spend $500-700 for a high-capacity (480-512GB) SSD, and upgrading / installing an SSD in the system is incredibly easy.
So from my perspective, it seems like the things you got so upset about are rather easy to fix and not worth however long you spent writing this post to complain about them.

  • MAC AIR Crashes on wake from sleep

    Dear All,
I have a user's Mac Air exhibiting the ubiquitous 'wake from sleep' issue that seems to have reared its head at every OS since 10.2, increasingly occurring with or without various apps running at time of sleep.
Upon tapping space bar after a night's sleep, we get a login screen with sometimes the desktop background, sometimes black, but always with the login panel available but tantalisingly NO blinking cursor or ability to enter password into the box for logging in.
Solution even after 20-40 mins (user is a patient person :-) is to press and hold the power button.
Syslog examination upon reboot shows nothing at all for the corresponding time period, just the info pertaining to the hard reboot.
...This last fact makes me think it is below the OS level and to do with the SSD power management / SMC / firmware relevant to both the above - if I am correct, after a couple of hours sleeping, as the laptop considers it is now in deep sleep, the contents of RAM get written to the SSD.
So, upon wake up calls from peripherals or built in mouse/trackpad, IF it cannot load the data written to the (still sleeping??) SSD back into RAM, then of course logging in will present a problem ?
I'd love to finally get to understand this completely, especially as it has occurred with all recent versions of the MAC OS, and on pretty much all hardware (acc to google).
Like many of us over the years, with previous OS versions' wake-from-sleep issues I have just taken the varying anecdotal advice (run /sbin/fsck/ -f/y, or fix permissions, or reset PRAM / SMC / trash windowserver prefs / apply combo update etc etc etc, turn around three times and kiss a back issue of Mac User magazine) and moved on...
.... this time, with yet another OS version, this annoyingly prevalent bug undermines my enthusiasm for continuing with Apple (I rely heavily on various remote access apps and having a non-local machine not wake up for me could be be a huge issue).
Anyone delved deep into this one and come back with an answer ?
Currently I am toying with using terminal to remove the hibernation aspect of sleep ..
    Show settings:
      pmset -g
    Change:
      sudo pmset -a autopoweroff 0
    or, change aspects of it.
I am distressed though that the famously user friendly (and my personal favourite) OS has me resorting to its equivalent of the command line just to get a user's laptop to reliably wake from sleep - it's 2014 and this should have been sorted soooo many moons ago.
    Thanks for reading,
    Andy

Perform a SMC reset, if it persists, contact Apple for appt. for in shop full diagnostic.
    SMC reset
    Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.

  • 17 " Macbook Pro (Early 2011) wont wake up from sleep

Hi, super new to the forums and was hoping for a solution here.
When I leave my computer on while I'm asleep (playing iTunes) it wont wake up by pressing keys or the trackpad or pressing the power button. The computer is still responding to keys, I can hear the "blop-blop" of the volume buttons, it's just the display isn't turning back on nor is the little light flashing that it's asleep. I figured out if I close the lid then wait for the light to start slowly flashing, it'll wake up when I open it, but I don't want to do that for every time it falls asleep on me.
I called support and they had me hold SHIFTCTRLOPTION to do something, and that ended up not working. They also had me reinstall OS X 10.6.6 and it didn't fix the problem either. Is it time I brought it to the Apple store for an exchange/refund?
    tl;dr
MBP falls asleep, wont wake up, called support, didn't fix it, should I exchange it or is there another way to potentially fix this?
    Thanks for the help!
    -scott

Hi. Dave from Avatron here. We've been testing on a new MBP and haven't been able to replicate the problem. However we do have a working theory about the cause.
Our theory is that Migration Assistant simply fails to invalidate the kernel extension cache when it should. The result is that when you migrate to a new machine with a different built-in display driver configuration, it can't wake from sleep. Or more precisely, it can't wake to Intel graphics if the last graphics adapter used was the Radeon one.
If we're right, then one of these steps should fix the problem:
    1. Install a kext (for example, simply reinstall Air Display), OR
    2. Uninstall a kext (this is why the problem went away when you uninstalled Air Display), OR
    3. "Touch" the kernel extensions directory in Terminal, OR
    4. Boot in Safe Mode.
    Then reboot.
If you can't wake from sleep, please try one of these possible solutions, and let us all know how it goes.
    Thanks!

  • X6 wake-up alarm sound getting way too loud

    Hi.
First post here, and think last 'cause I haven't found any annoyances besides this.
Using X6 as an alarm clock for everyday wake up call.
The alarm sound just keeps getting too loud that it comes an annoyance in a few seconds (I tend to keep X6 next to me on a bedside table).
Have searched from the phone, but is it so that the Clock alarm "Ringing type" can not be changed as one can change the Incoming call ringing type in Profiles-section (possibilities are here: Ringing, Ascending, Ring once, Beep once, Silent)?
Seems so that those two mentioned aren't even connected to each other, so that if I set Incoming call ringing type as Ringing, still to no avail, because this doesn't affect Clock alarm in any ways (and Clock alarms in Ascending-type).
    Any advice on this?
(And could someone tell me, why this has been designed as is now?)
    Cheers

wow people normally complain its to low
the volume for an alarm tone is standard it cant be altered the only thing possible is to select another tone thats not high pitched
you can change the alarm tone by going to clock icon then open this and go to settings here you can change the tone
If  i have helped at all a click on the white star below would be nice thanks.
    Now using the Lumia 1520

  • Screen won't wake after notification

This seems to be an ongoing problem with this handset. The screen will not wake after a notification when it is on standby. Is there any solutions to this problem?
Trying to boot in safe mode is difficult as you cannot see what is happening in the os. You can still hear sounds and feel vibrations.
    Thanks

It would turn On on every notification even in pocket, so the device only wakes on calls, not messages or fb updates. Turning screen on every notification could make the phone to open apps and do costs inside pocket.
