WAS server getting restarted??

Hi,
We have a J2EE application running on WAS 6.40/sp15. While processing about 20000 records, the application puts as many messages in queues. It works fine till 15000 records. But when processing more than that the application gets aborted and the WAS server gets restarted. Any help what could be the possible problem?
Is there any queue size or some thing like that which needs to be increased??
regards,
Sujesh

Sujesh,
Can you be more specific about records? Type?

  • VM with 1GB RAM in Hyper-V server gets restarted while Updating glibc rpm

I created a linux RHEL 6.1 based VM in Hyper-V server windows 2012R2.
    VM settings are given below:-
    Start up RAM=1GB.
    Max RAM=2GB(dynamic expandable).
    RAM type=dynamic
We are trying to upgrade old  version of glibc rpm(glibc.i686 02.12-1.25.el6)  with new version(glibc-2.12-1.149.el6_6.5.i686) on this VM using yum command. We also tried using rpm -Uvh command but result is same. We did the same
upgrade in ESX server VM there it is getting updated successfully.
While installing new glibc, VM is getting restarted unexpectedly.
Note: This behavior is not seen on ESX hosted VM.

    Hi Sir,
    >>I created a linux RHEL 6.1 based VM in Hyper-V server windows 2012R2.
First I would suggest you update hyper-v host then install newest LIS for RHEL 6.1 :

If the issue persists I would suggest you to try to get further assistance within following forum:

  • J2ee server getting restarted

    HI,
We have deployed an .ear file of size 44MB to J2EE stack of WAS6.4 SP16. While we are starting the application in VA, portal server is getting down. This happens only with this application. When we try to start other applications, they are working fine.
However, the same application is working fine when we deployed in WAS6.4 SP9.
Please share ur ideas on this........
    Regards,
    Ravi.

    HI,
    Sorry for the late reply.
In the log file it was showing as JmxConnectorException. what does it mean?
I havent seen OutOfMemoryErrors anywhere in log files.
And after deploying the application in VA in server1, I am seeing one more file MetaModelRepository, here the application is not getting started.
I am not seeing this file while deploying to server2, here the application is starting.
Is this the problem with MetaModelRepository. whats the significance of metamodelrepository?
    Regards,
    Ravi.

  • How often should the SMP server get restarted? Cockpit message "Restart Required!"

How often should I restart the SAP Mobile Platform server? I have received a message in the SMP Management Cockpit that states "Restart Required!".

    Hi Darrel,
Batish is right there is no need to restart server unless you change specific settings that need a restart. Ex. cache settings. You can find an "i" symbol next to these fields which need a restart if you change these values.
Also server restart is needed if you change any config files ex. admin-role-mapping.xml.
Are you able to reproduce this issue. Could you give a screen shot of this issue. What is the version of server?

  • Help, I can't get the Embedded OC4J Server to restart!

I've run into the following problem (well, actually a collegue) in that I can not get the OC4J application to restart once I kill it. She has a JSP page which will run once upon the first time JDeveloper 9i is run. However, from that point on, changes are compiled, but the I.E. page never comes up. I traced the problem down to the OC4J internal server is not being restarted. It seems the underlying reason is that somehow the embedded server gets in a state where it can't be shutdown.
I've tried directly killing it via the run manager tab, and I've even looked at task manager and in both cases, I don't see anything corresponding to the server. Even restarting JDeveloper proper doesn't seem to clear it.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks.
Please post here, and email me at [email protected]
    Dave Blake

I assume you are asking about JDev 9.0.2. If it's another version, please let me know. I can offer some suggestions based on the most likely causes:
    1) Try disabling the proxy server in JDev. Go to Tools | Preferences - Proxy Server, and uncheck the "Use HTTP Proxy Server" checkbox. You will have to quit and relaunch JDev for the change to get picked up. Then try running your JSP again.
    2) Try telling JDev to use a specific hostname for your machine other than the default. Go to Tools | Preferences - Deployment, and click on the radio button that says "Specify host name:" Try putting localhost or 127.0.0.1 here. You may have to use this in combination with 1).
The embedded OC4J proces will show up in the Windows task manager as a javaw.exe process. You shouldn't have any zombie OC4J processes, but if you do end up with them and have a reproducible case, please post the steps-to-reproduce here.

You wouldn't happen to have some Linux genius employed who is trying to start the X11 environment by typing "init 6" right?
I mean, it's happened before. Seriously.
But yeah: try going through your log files and your "last" logs to see who was logged in at the time of the reboot. Then go through their shell history files, or something like that. And if the reboots seem to happen at regular intervals: check the scripts in root's crontab for any things like "init" or "killall" (which is also a killer on Solaris)...
    Good luck!

    Hi Ashwin
It might be dut to JVM-out of memory error. They might have done the settings in the JVM i.e it will restart the JVm when out of memory. So please check this
    Also
By default AUTO_START of the Service in JDBC server is set to restore, for a automatic restart it should be set to 1.
    So Please check this.

  • Secure server instance restarts automatically

    Hi All,
I am using iPlanet Web Server 6.0 SP1 with weblogic app server ( no LDAP ) to host a website on Windows 2000 machine. I have two virtual server instances of iPlanet. The one that is configured for SSL, gets restarted automatically. I get following error in event log of system or error log of that instance.
ncorrect Parameter     security ( 3780): for host 202.68.143.70 trying to HEAD /index.html, acl-state reports: access of D:/iPlanet/Servers/docs/web/index.html denied by ACL path=d:/iplanet/servers/docs/web/ directive 1
    The ACL entries are OK.
Could anybody please help me out?

The error message states that the server denied access to a client who was trying to access D:/iPlanet/Servers/docs/web/index.html. It denied access as it was instructed to by the first access control directive configured on the path d:/iplanet/servers/docs/web/. If you don't want to deny access to D:/iPlanet/Servers/docs/web/index.html, you should review your ACL file configuration.
The Service Pack Release Notes document the issues addressed by that Service Pack. You can view the Release Notes on docs.sun.com at http://docs.sun.com/db/prod/s1websrv#hic

  • N95 gets restart automatically while video recordi...

Whenever I try to record video more than 4-5 min, my N95 gets restarted automatically while recording and doesnt even save the video. But when I record smaller video say 1-2 min everything is fine. I have Phone from O2 germany and Nokia website says that I have latest software version installed.
Please help me to fix this problem.
    thank you

I have reboot problems as well. I haven't had the chance to try long video but it will reboot on almost any application.
As soon as the battery load is too high (it does get warm). I think it has to do with not being able to supply the current draw so the voltage drops and the phone reboots.
For me it was Maps that caused the reboot, or if I'm in maps and I get a phone call it would reboot. I could even get it to reboot when I was scrolling through the contact list non-stop.

  • Logs for sql server agent restart

    Hi,
Can I get log on the sql server agent  restart history of week. I mean the sql server agent has been restarted several times in last week I want to know the date and time when the sql server agent restarted in that week. Is it possible to get
    the info?
    Thanks in advance,

    Pavan

In addition to Uri's post, here is some more information that might help you:
SQLAGENT.OUT, the log file for SQL Agent. SQL Server Agent can maintain up to 10 Error Logs files. The currently used SQL Server Agent Error Log will be named SQLAGENT.OUT
    where is the SQLAGENT.OUT file?
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.SQL2012\MSSQL\Log\
What will be when a new file create?
The old file should get a name like SQLAGENT.X and the new file get the name SQLAGENT.OUT (X is numbers 1-9)
This can help you to get more information on sql agent properties (like the location of the log file, the user that start the service and more):
    EXEC msdb..sp_get_sqlagent_properties

The SIM card In my iPhone 5 has been giving me occasional messages that there has been a SIM Failure, there is NO SIM, or that there is an INVALID SIM.  Until today, I was able to restart it with no problem and the SIM card would start up.  This afternoon the NO SIM message came up and I cannot fix it. What is my next step?  I am traveling in Canada now and it is not convenient to come back to the States just to get a SIM card.

    Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me.  How can I initiate Verizon sending me a new SIM card?  I will be here  long enough to receive it if they can send it to me.
I have been trying to call Verizon Wireless, but they won’t take my call from my Skype account and I don’t have my phone.
    Thanks again,
