Wbelogic 12c Server - wlst script to reorder Authentication Providers

Does anyone know the jython commands  to set/reorder to Authentication Providers?

Example script:
      edit()
      startEdit()
      # if needed create your authentication provider first
      cd('/SecurityConfiguration/'+domainName+'/Realms/myrealm')
      cmo.createAuthenticationProvider('XYZ_Authenticator', 'com.xyz.providers.authentication.XYZ_Authenticator')
       # configure if needed
      cd('/SecurityConfiguration/'+domainName+'/Realms/myrealm/AuthenticationProviders/XYZ_Authenticator')
      set('Debug','true')
      set('ControlFlag','SUFFICIENT')
      # reorder
      cd('/SecurityConfiguration/'+domainName+'/Realms/myrealm')
      set('AuthenticationProviders',jarray.array([ObjectName('Security:Name=myrealmXYZ_Authenticator'), ObjectName('Security:Name=myrealmDefaultAuthenticator'), ObjectName('Security:Name=myrealmDefaultIdentityAsserter')], ObjectName))
      save()
      activate()

  • WLST script deploy EAR File in Weblogic Server

    Hi,
    Can any one help me providing the steps to deploy EAR file using WLST Script.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards
    Balaji S

    You can use the deploy command, for example,
    deploy('DeploymentName', path=LocationOfYourEARFile, targets='A Cluster or a Server');A complete example can be found here: http://middlewaremagic.com/weblogic/?p=6329
    And the reference: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/web.1111/e13813/reference.htm#i1024284

  • WLST script to set Server Overload and JTA settings

    I need to develop a WLST script to set a Server Overload settings like Max Stuck Thread Time and JTA settings like Transaction Time out. I can do it by navigating to Server->Overload tab and Services->JTA tab in weblogic admin console but my requirement is to do it in WLST.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

    I know that ALSB used to provide APIs for SOME customizations, monitoring and control of services. I have not tried APIs in OSB for a long time and dont know if the APIs are still the same or if some of them have been deprecated. But I can say that the APIs for customization of end point values will definitely be available.
    However, I do not think there will be an API for marking HTTPS as enabled in proxy configuration, that you will need to do using the sbconsole UI or by importing an updated version of service.
    You can find the APIs here:
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/apirefs.1111/e15033/toc.htm
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/admin.1111/e15867/app_apis.htm#OSBAG739
    If you do need more info then search for ALSB APIs and you will get older docs but they might have more details.

  • Automatic Generation of JMS event generator using WLST script

  • WLST Script to Add Users in Domain

    Hi,
    I am not able to find an example to add users in default realm in weblogic server using WLST. I navigated the MBean tree using WLST but didn't find a addUser function. I want to create an user in the realm and then add the user as part of a security policy for a JMS system module (All using WLST). I tried to record the actions in the console to a WLST script, but the record function doesn't record adding users to the realm. Any pointers to information is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Chengi

    Thanks! That helped. I am now figuring out how to add the policy on the JMS module.

  • Passing a variable to command in WLST script

    I have a script I have written to suspend and resume connection pools based on a specific path using the managed server as the variable.
    The problem is that when I pass the managed server name as a variable, the cd() command never gets it.
    Does anyone have any suggestions here?
    import os
    singlqt = "'"
    connect('weblogic', sys.argv[1], sys.argv[2])
    if sys.argv[4] == 'show_pools':
    try:
    domainConfig()
    ls('JDBCSystemResources')
    sys.exit(0)
    except:
    print "Error showing pools ", sys.argv[4]
    sys.exit(1)
    tempPoolPathVar = os.path.join('/ServerRuntimes/', sys.argv[3], 'ApplicationRuntimes/', sys.argv[5], 'ComponentRuntimes', sys.argv[5])
    poolPathVar = "%s%s%s" % (singlqt, tempPoolPathVar, singlqt)
    if sys.argv[4] == 'suspend_pool':
    try:
    domainRuntime()
    print poolPathVar
    cd(poolPathVar)
    cmo.suspend()
    except:
    print "Error suspending pool", sys.argv[5]
    so when you print poolPathVar it shows:
    '/ServerRuntimes/myManagedServer1/ApplicationRuntimes/ConnectionPool1/ComponentRuntimes/ConnectionPool1
    with the single quotes included.
    I tried to feed this variable to cd() but it gets lost for some reason.

    Try prepending your string with "serverRuntime:", i.e.,
    cd ("serverRuntime:/WLDFRuntime")
    Think of it like changing drives on a DOS system. You're trying to change to a serverRuntime "dir" from the domainRuntime "drive". Prepending the drive prefix should fix it.

  • Does and how osb 11g support  WLST scripts

    Does 11g support WLST scripts to import and export OSB configuration?
    Here are the old ones (as I see, dated 03.03.2009). For old 10.3 they worked perfectly.
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/soa/service-bus/collateral/osbsamples.html
    In new release names of few libraries changed (e.g. from com.bea.common.configfwk_1.2.1.0.jar to com.bea.common.configfwk_1.3.0.0.jar), so I simply changed the names in my scripts to use them for 11g. It didn't work. Old scripts (with old libs) don't work for 11g either.
    So my question is does OSB still support this kind of deploying, and how can I do that?
    Thanks in advance.

    @ frf
    Is it working for you ? The scripts are running fine for me but the values are not geting changed.

    Hi Everybody,
    Creating an FTP adapter using wlst script and the adapter is getting created sucessfully in FTP but when trying to creae one more FTP adapter it
    overriding instead of appending the FTP adapter it with new one. Can any help on this please.
    As this is an urgent delivarable which needs to be delivered.
    Regards,
    ChaKra

    Hi,
    I will take it other way as we need to process the Data File not Marker File ( its just for checking the Data File is completely written on FTP server).
    Other way mean " Will Poll for Data.txt File and if  found then Runtime OS Command will do connect to FTP and check if Marker File exists, if yes then delete the marker file and read the actual Data File for processing.
    Please let me know, if Marker File does not exists on FTP folder, will it still read the Data File or will it exit the Adapter execution?
    Your help is much appreciated.

  • Reorder weblogic authentication providers

    I have a properties file containing a list of weblogic authentication providers in a certain order.
    example properties file :
        ### realm components ###
        AuthenticationProvider=DefaultAuthenticator,DefaultIdentityAsserter,IPlanetAuthenticator,WaliSAMLAuthenticator,UmoeAuthenticator,MooseAuthenticator
    and a wlst jython script who uses this properties file as an argument to create and reorders the authentication providers in the security realm.
    wlst code to create AuthenticationProviders :

                dumpStackRollback()
    The problem is when I call the methode i get an exception saying arrayAuthenticatorionProvider has not the correct type.
    a correct example to set the order correct is this:
        set('AuthenticationProviders',jarray.array([ObjectName('Security:Name=myrealmDefaultIdentityAsserter'), ObjectName('Security:Name=myrealmDefaultAuthenticator'), ObjectName('Security:Name=myrealmMooseAuthenticator'), ObjectName('Security:Name=myrealmIDMx509IdentityAsserter'), ObjectName('Security:Name=myrealmSAMLIdentityAsserterV2'), ObjectName('Security:Name=myrealmIDMSamlAuthenticationProvider'), ObjectName('Security:Name=myrealmWaliSAMLAuthenticator'), ObjectName('Security:Name=myrealmUmoeAuthenticator'), ObjectName('Security:Name=myrealmIPlanetAuthenticator')], ObjectName))
    Can somme one tell me how i can adopt my code to create a correct jarray with ObjectName type objects.

    Hi Nishith,
    Thanks very much for your informaiton.
    The link provided by you tells the policy migraiton from file system(System-jazn) to LDAP(OID or OVD) in Domain Policy store.
    What we need is "Upon installing a new patch update to the Domain, the weblogic Authenctication providers getting deleted. Perticularly the one which we configured for External authentication(OVD Authenticator).
    In our User interface we have one functionality for creating a External authenticaiotn provider(External authentication). it will create the Authentication provider in Weblogic as well as OVD. when we are updating our application with patch in the domain, the weblogic provider getting deleted.
    As of now we are creating that Authentication provider manully in Weblogic. My quesiton is, is there any script(wlst) or workaroud to persist or recreate the provider?
    I Hope you understand my problem.
    Thank you
