Web Gallery shows a dark shawdow on the bottom of each picture

On each of my web gallery photos there is an anoying shadow. Anyone else experience the same problem? I have my descrption option turned off.
Thanks

The easiest way is to use the Status-4-Evar add-on. With it you can choose to not display any of the status messages or URL hover previews, or display them in the add-ons bar or location bar instead.

The dark bar is caused by the option "Show metadata below image".
Check the settings for the metadata overlays in Grid view (basic and expanded) by clicking the little "badge" icon below the Browser and selecting "Edit". Is the filename still enabled in the list? And in a high enough position to have precedence for other metadata tags, if the space does not suffice to show all selected tags?

You can run the Apple Hardware Test.
I agree with Carolyn. If that doesn't show anything, Apple has more comprehensive tests. Call an Apple Store and make an appointment with the "genius" bar (free). I don't think an SMCReset is going to help in this situation, but if it was my Mac, I'd try it: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964

  • Why is there a slightly dark spot on the bottom left hand corner on my iPod Touch 3rd Gen after I cleaned it?

I was cleaning it and when I turn it on again there's this dark spot in the bottom left hand corner and I was like what? So I rebooted my device and it was still there. It still works but I'm afraid it might break. I've cleaned this many times before and this never happened! Please Help! *sobs*

Weird things happen at factories. After onboxing my new phone I took the plastic off and it had a small fingerprint on the side. I didn't even touch the phone.

  • I have just updated to Lion and now my folders no longer show number of items on the bottom. Is there a fix for this?

I have just updated to Lion and now my folders no longer show number of items on the bottom. Is there a fix for this? I allways found that handy. Now I have to click on an icon on the top, This is a backward step if that is now the only way to see the number of items. Am I missing something obvious?

In the good old days of Snow Leopard, an open Finder folder had a border along the bottom of the window which could show the number of items in that window and the total available space on the hard disk or partition that folder resides on. That bottom border is gone in Lion and those two bits of information are gone with it. Is that what you're talking about? If so, I'd like to learn how to get it back too and "Show Item Info" is not the way.

It is a Mac OS X.
We still don't know your model--OSX is the operating system, not the hardware model. Please do "About this Mac" from your Apple menu to see a window like this:
Please tell us what your computer shows for the contents of the two lines I've indicated with red arrows. The processor type will at least tell us to which of the four basic iMac families yours belongs. That's a start and can help you avoid getting advice that is not appropriate to your Mac model.

  • Subtotal at the bottom of each page Reports

Hi, i have a report group type report and i need display subtotal at the bottom of each page, and in the next page the first row must be the subtotal of the previous page Example:
    page 1
    subtotal page 1 ( 10 ) "sent"
    page 2
    come from page 1 (10)
    subtotal page 2 (15)
    thanks

    Hi ,
try to do a reset of the sum at the page ( on the property sheet) of that column.
and you may need another column to show the grand total.
also guess you can make use of the formula column and reset it each time..
Just my idea, it has been long I worked on 6i reports...

  • When printing to PDF from webpage, the pdf is compressed on the bottom of each page and markedly smaller print. How do I correct this?

When printing to PDF from webpage, the pdf is compressed on the bottom of each page and with markedly smaller print, the top of the page is fine. How do I correct this?

Open Contacts and click Preferences on the menu named Contacts. On the General tab of the Preferences window, select Show First Name: Before Last Name and then print. You can change that Preference back to the other way after printing if desired.

  • How do I see the available gb that I have on the bottom of each open folder?

    memory or hard drive space?
you can check through activity monitor on how much memory have you got left and you can also click on your apple logo - about this mac - more info - and click on the storage tab to see how much hard drive space you've used up and how much have you got left.
see images below - first image is for memory - second image  is for hard drive.

  • Placing content at the bottom of each page

I have a dynamic form with several content areas that are hidden until certain options are checked. Upon opening the form it is 1 page long, but can easily spread out to 3 pages or more after fields are filled. I want to be able to have content placed at the bottom of each page such as a customers name. I have tried the pagination overflow trailer (Which I figured out has to be a subform that trails) But the problem I am having is that instead of placing it at the bottom of the page it places the field right underneath the last subform that fits on the page. Sometimes that subform will be a couple inches up the page because the next subform will be 4 inches tall. I just want the content to be on the very bottom of each page. How would I adjust this? Thanks

You can place the Fields in the Master Page that you want to be displayed on each page.
You can adjust the Content area in the Master pages to be above the fields at the bottom of the page so that the data will always be displayed at the bottom.
    Thanks

  • Photos uploaded to my Web Gallery show up where in iPhoto??

I created a Web Gallery and asked my family to add to it - which they have done. I see the photos in iPhoto under the 'MOBILEME GALLERY' in the sidebar - but they are not in any of the Events. When I try to manually add the photo, it says it's already in the library?!!?
I have tried labeling the photos and then finding them via an iPhoto search, but they just aren't there.
Where does iPhoto put photos added via Web Gallery??

Yes - that was one of the 1st things I tried. I also gave the photos specific keywords only used on those photos, "yellow" for example. Searching photos for any photo having the keyword "yellow" shows no results.
If I right click on the photos in the MOBILEME GALLERY sidebar of iPhoto and click 'Show File' - it opens a folder named 'Jan 18, 2008', and the photos are sitting there.
Dragging the actual files to a new gallery gives the same warning, that the files are already in the library.

  • Web Gallery Shows ALL Galleries

Example - Lets say you publish a collection of 10 photos of your holiday snaps, just you and the wife, nothing rude mind, but maybe in your thing at the beach. If at a later time you then post some photos of work photos for your colleagues in the new Web Gallery, the viewer has the opportunity to click a link to go to your Master Gallery and view ALL your images, including you and the wife doing what ever. this can't be right?? Can it??

In iPhoto you can select a specific Web Gallery album and click the Settings button at the bottom left of the tool bar to configure the album to require a password.
