Web Service authentification

Hi,
'm newby in IP Phone and i want to have a link on my web pages on each phone numbers that make a call on the Ip Phone.
I try the saop makecall but it need a user and a password.
How can i do to don't ask to the user his login and password. I have a sso connection with the NTLM authentification.
I need to creat one user for my web page and it can make call fot the others. Or can I send the crypted password or something else?
Thank's for the help.

SSO first and foremost means you have some kind of consistency between logins.
There are several questions you need to answer:
1) Are user IDs the same on the PC and call manager?
1a) If user IDs are not the same, how do you get from the windows user id to the phone user id?
2) Are passwords synchronized
2a) If not, how do you want to handle the password thing? Do you want it to be stored somewhere on the user PC, or do you want to e.g. go by the NTLM authentication you can do with an IIS webserver that's in the same domain and then just not ask for a password, or what other means do you want to use for the password (you could just send the user ID of the user currently logged in on the PC.. then via 3 get the phone, and look up the user password via some other means)
3) How can I associate a user ID with a phone?
4) If the answer to 2a was other means.. then how do you handle the scenario where the user changes his password?
Those are questions that pop into my mind when I hear SSO and call manager. If you have CCM 5.0, you can synchronize - not integrate - your CCM with your active directory and your logins and passwords will be synchronized, making things a little easier.

  • Windows authentification while consuming web service from ABAP

    Hi All,
    We are consuming web service from ABAP, we have created client proxy in SE80 and configured logical port in LPCONFIG.
    This one was working fine. Now we have added  windows user authentification to access this service.
    Now when I'm trying to regenerate this proxy in R/3 it is asking for user and password. When I enter these details this one is not working.
    If I access this service direcly from internet explorer and I enter same user and password then I would able to access this service.
    Could you please let me know how to handle this.
    Regards
    Vikram

    The dialog that is produced by HTTP Destination object of the logical port is designed only for use within Classic Dynpro applications.  There is no prompt produced when running in Web Dynpro.  If possible assign a generic user within the logical port definition and this will be used automatically by all users.

  • Web Service Security with SAML - Invalid XML signature

    Hello together,
    we want to build a scenario where we want to use Web Service Security  with SAML.
    The scenario will be
    WS Client (Java Application) -> WS Adapter -> Integration Engine ->  WS Adapter-> CRM (Web AS ABAP 7.01 SP 3)
    SAP PI release is 7.11 (SP Level 4)
    We want to use the SAML Authentification from WS Client to PI and from PI to Web AS ABAP.
    The SAML authentifications between the WS Client and PI works when there is no SAML auth between PI and CRM.
    But we get following error at calling the CRM system when we want to communicate with SAML:
      <E_TEXT>CX_WS_SECURITY_FAULT:Invalid XML signature</E_TEXT>
    Has somebody an idea of the possible reason for the error.
    Thanks in advance

  • How to remove user authentication for SAP Web Service?

    Hi there,
    I am using SAP Web Services in my flex application. Every time wsdl url is called, the username\password window pops up. I want to remove this.
    I searched in the forum and based on the discussions, I tried giving the user name password under Web Service Administration using SOAMANAGER, by selecting No Authentication option. But this did not work. I still get that pop up.
    I also tried giving the credentials in SICF, under Logon Data tab of the service. This too failed. I kept getting the pop up.
    Can someone pls let me know how can I remove this? If username password in mandatory to be passed, I can create a temporary username which will be used to access all of my webservices and use it. But I want to remove this authentication part when I am using the flex application ang calling the web service url from within it.
    Appreciate your help.....

    Hi,
    It is a little bit tricky, because the interface has changed several times in different releases. I know that it is possible without authentification.
    I remember that i defined somewhere the default client, the username and password in the ERP system to use by this web service.
    Maybe it helps if you try the old transactions WSADMIN, WSCONFIG or WSADMIN2 ?
    Sorry that I cannot help you more. I hope it helps.

  • Secured web service for secured AM method

    Hello,
    I need to invoke method of secured Application Module (jbo.security.enforce = Must) from secured web service.
    I have a simple java class with Configuration.createRootApplicationModule ... and a web service built for this java class.
    I found I have to authentificate users twice. First time when invoking web service (this is ok) and second time when creating application module instance.
    The problem is I can get name of user logged in web service but I cannot get his password. So I cannot login to application module with the same user.
    How can I force adf business components to use user authentificated in web service to use him/her as adf bc user?

  • Abap Proxy = Web Service - Connection timeout

    Hi Experts,
    I request your help on some issue we encounter actually on our Web services interfaces.
    We have sceanario in which from SAP, we are sending a message to PI via Abap proxy.
    PI then, send the message to the external system via a Web Service (we have configured the URL and authentification values).
    When we want to test the scenario we have an issue.
    - We see in SXMB_MONI message has status sent succesfully
    - When we check the external system, we see that no message is received (no trace of message from PI).
    - Then we check on PI runtime workbench, we see in the receiver communication channel error saying "Connextion Timeout"
    (in detail: SOAP: call failed: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out")
    We would like to investigate the issue.
    Have you already encountered this kind of issues ? And how we could investigate the root cause here ?
    And thanks for ur help,
    S.N

    This might be due to following reasons.
    Please check whether firewall exist between Pi and external system. If so check with  network team weather port or connectivity is established between PI server and external system. This should be the main reason.  Also check the target URL and see whether you can able to consume the webservice directly from Soapui without PI.  If your workstation is within PI's landscape and you see the same timed out error, then the network connectivity is the issue.  Ask them to enable the port.

  • Exception (org.apache.axis2.AxisFault: Server) when accessing Web-Service

    Hi all,
    I have read already some interesting posts on Java implementation for Oracle CoD Web Services.
    Somehow I am stuck and can't find a way out.
    I try to access the LeadQuery command via the following code:
              String sessionCookie = logon(
                        "https://secure-ausomxapa.crmondemand.com/Services/Integration",
                        username, password);
              LeadStub stub;
              try {
                   stub = new LeadStub(
                             "https://secure-ausomxapa.crmondemand.com/Services/Integration;jsessionid="
                                       + sessionCookie);
                   // ServiceClient client = stub._getServiceClient();
                   // client.getOptions().setManageSession(true);
                   // client.getOptions().setProperty("jsessionid", sessionCookie);
                   // client.getOptions().setUserName(username);
                   // client.getOptions().setPassword(password);
                   LeadQueryPage_Input leadQueryPage_Input = new LeadQueryPage_Input();
                   ListOfLeadQuery listOfLeadQuery = new ListOfLeadQuery();
                   QueryType queryType = new QueryType();
                   queryType.setString("LIKE 'A*'");
                   LeadQuery leadQuery = new LeadQuery();
                   leadQuery.setCompany(queryType);
                   listOfLeadQuery.setLead(leadQuery);
                   leadQueryPage_Input.setListOfLead(listOfLeadQuery);
                   LeadQueryPage_Output leadQueryPage_Output = stub
                             .LeadQueryPage(leadQueryPage_Input);
              } catch (AxisFault e) {
                   e.printStackTrace();

    Logging In and Out is no problem, runs like music. But whenever LeadQueryPage is called, I just receive the following error:

    I'm using Eclipse 3.4.2 with AXIS2 1.4, and the Eclipse Plug-In for AXIS 1.3 (with some small patch to get it to work).
    I downloaded the custom WSDL from Oracle CoD (CRM On Demand) Admin page and used the AXIS-Wizard in Eclipse to transform it to Java.
    For that, I already tried the -g option (which is "Create everything - Client and Server" in the wizard).
    Anyone has a clue what the problem might be?
    Btw.: I downloaded also V1.0 WSDL to check if that works. Some problem.
    Found out that just the error reporting sucks and at the end the Server missed the correct Authentification.
    Funnily I just did what I read a couple of time. With this small bit of code it works:
                   ServiceClient client = stub._getServiceClient();
                   client.getOptions().setManageSession(true);
                   client.getOptions().setProperty(HTTPConstants.HEADER_COOKIE, "jsessionid="+sessionCookie);
                   client.getOptions().setUserName(username);
                   client.getOptions().setPassword(password);
    -----

    You are missing the end point location. See the sample client below:
    MyHelloMyHelloSOAP11PortStub stub = new MyHelloMyHelloSOAP11PortStub("http://localhost:8080/axis2/services/MyHello");
                   MyHelloMyHelloSOAP11PortStub.SayHello hello = new MyHelloMyHelloSOAP11PortStub.SayHello();
                   hello.setS("ABCD");
                   MyHelloMyHelloSOAP11PortStub.SayHelloResponse resp=stub.sayHello(hello);
                   System.out.println("Response from Web Service "+resp.get_return());

  • Web Service URL in Live Office for Edge BI 3.1 SP3

    Hello,
    I want to install the best practices v4.31 for Xcelsius.
    I have : Edge BI 3.1 SP3 for server and for client,
                environnement Windows server 2008 and windows XP,
                Xcelsisus 2008
                Live Office 3.1 SP3
    I export an Xcelsius in excel. To open an Xcelsius report in Excel I should use Live Office. And also I should give an url of web service, which is http://<host>:8080/dswsbobje/services/session. This url doesn't work and a field with Authentification is grey.
    Can it be a problem of BusinessObject Edge BI version? A problem with an incorrect url?
    Thank you,
    Malika

    Hi malika paris ,
    The Url is correct  you have to change the <host> to the webserver name or CMS server name or IP address like "http://10.74.161.168:8080/dswsbobje/services/session".
    my suggestion is to upgrade your xcelsius version to 2008 SP3 as all other production version are SP3.
    Let me know if you have any questions.
    Cheers,
    Sudharam

  • Web services IN XI

    Hi all,
    I´m new to WS, I have to public a WS from XI. It is going to be called from an external java program. This external program is going to send data to XI, XI is going to process it and send back to the java program the result for example the output from a mapping. My question is:
    If there are any error in XI it is going to be sent throw the xi WS?
    I would appreciate information or where a can find this information.
    Many thanks
    Noelia

    hi,
    to establish a web service it is quiet simple.
    Just establish your process and in directory, you
    can define your web service (Tools -> define web
    service) based on an SOAP outbound interface.
    Important is the URL you have to give while defining.
    It should be like in this blog:
    /people/siva.maranani/blog/2005/03/01/testing-xi-exposed-web-services
    More complicate is consuming web service with Java.
    I first test them with the tool XML Spy. I also
    tried it with Java directly, but failed. But I just
    tried it not seriously, but if you have a solution
    let me know
    The problem is the authentification I think.
    Once a web service is consumed (for example with XML
    Spy) error messages will be returned by XI.
    regards

  • Problem testing a Proxy / Web Service

    hi everybody.
    I created a proxy / web service for an interface defined in the xi repository. i can test this service in the Enteprise Service Browser in SE80 (F8) sending a soap request and and everything works fine.
    now my intention is to call this web service from outside. I defined an endpoint using transaction SOAMANAGER and used the wsdl document for that binding (from the given link) to send a soap request using the testing tool soapUI.
    if I do not define username and password i receive: Logon Error Message. but giving the information I also receive a error:
    <soap-env:Fault>
      <faultcode>soap-env:Server</faultcode>
        <faultstring xml:lang="en">SRT: Authorization denied</faultstring>
           <detail>

                   </ChainedException>
                </ns:SystemFault>
         </detail>
    </soap-env:Fault>
    for the service and point I have activated http authentification and checked the box user-id/password (authentification method is sapsp:HTTPBasic)
    by the way I did not configure a J2EE host and port in the system settings of SOAMANAGER. is this a must? where and why do I need this for?
    thanks for any help!

    hi everybody.
    when calling the web service/abap proxy with an user having SAP_ALL everything works.
    for me this seems curious because before we gave me all the user roles mentioned in sap help and the tutorials:
    SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_ADMIN
    SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_ADMIN_BIZ
    SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_ADMIN_TEC
    SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_CONSUMER
    SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_DEBUGGER
    SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_OBSERVER
    SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_SERVICE_USE
    which role is missing which is necessary for using web services via soap? does anybody know?

    Hi experts,
    I have a problem very estrange on one scenario and maybe somebody could help me:
    Our PI version is 7.0.
    The BPM has got the following steps:
    - Call WebService for get the SAML. Message Synchronous with request and response Authentification.
    - We add the Authentification Response on Envelope message.
    - Call web Service with Envelope, inside of this one there is the Authentification (step 1).
    The las Web Service always returns that the Authentification is error.
    We execute the same steps manually using SAOPGui program ( a free program for test WebService ) and the same steps works.. and the structures are the same, but on PI 7.0 never works.
    We researh on forums and we have seen that the SAML Authentification is soported only for PI 7.1.
    Could anybody confirm it? It is possible use SAML Authentification on PI 7.0? Are there other process to execute a SAML WebService using PI 7.0?
    Any response or any idea will be very appreciated.

  • Import Web Service not working

    In the past I have successfully created a lvlib, to get Information from our ERP system (Dynamics NAV) via web service. I have used the LabVIEW import wizard for web services. Now we have exported another page of Dynamics NAV as a web service and I want to write a LabVIEW-Tool for this. But with a valid URL I get always an error
    Validation failed. Possible Reasons are:
    1. The URL does not exist or the WSDL is bad
    2. Authentification is not OK
    3. Proxy information is not correct.
    I can communicate with a c# application. So, the reason must be in LabVIEW.
    I have checked the import wizard again with the URL of my first first lvlib and the wizard gives the same error, but my lvlib is working well.
    Regards
    Dirk

    Hello Dirk,
    Which LabVIEW verison are you using? Depending on it I can propose you several solutions:
    Have you take a look at this link? LabVIEW 2010: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/54DA5F6466B622A5862577BB0048E221?OpenDocument
    I have this vi to fix your issue, but that was tested for LabVIEW 2010, you can try it with the version you are working with and keep me updated. I will send you a new file if needed.
    Replace the attached VI file to have the fix. <LabVIEW 20xx>\vi.lib\Platform\WebService\Main Panel\Pages\Input WSDL\Main.vi
    I hope this will solve your problem. Keep me posted!

    Hi,
    I would like to know if there is a kind of session management with SOAP messages. I have found the interface IF_SOAP_SESSION_PROTOCOL, in which you can put in 'stateful' mode, however I wasn't able to use it.
    In fact, I try to understand what stateful means for SOAP in SAP, and if you can log/manage the session of a user, in order to see what he do (without requested authentification/identification).

    I got a web service up and running called Price Update web service through
