WebDynpro Application Deployment SDM Error

Hi all
I tried to deploy the WebDynpro application but after giving SDM password I m getting following error.
Deployment exception : Server wsrm00 did not accept login request as admin on port 50018. Details: ERROR: Could not establish connection to server wsrm00 at port 50018: wsrm00
Inner exception was :

hi all,we are having a server with ip address 172.25.5.115.but recently due to some reasons the is is changed to 172.25.4.114.earlier with previous ip we were able to use all the services like portal SDM...SDM for deploying web dynpro applications etc..very fine....but after the change of ip address we r still able to access the portal fine but not able to deploy the webdynpro applications.getting the error message.if some one have any ideas please help....

Deploy WebDynpro application without SDM password

Is it possbile to deploy WebDynpro application without SDM password? I have account with SAP_J2EE_ADMIN role.

Webdynpro application deployment error

Hi,
When i tried to deploy a webdynpro application into portal6 it gives me the following error message. When asked for the SDM password i gave the sdm password, which is the same i use to login to SDM thru RemoteGUI.bat.

Hi Gopi,
Check what roles assigned to user J2EE_ADMIN at http://<server>:<port>/useradmin
Also check password for J2EE_ADMIN should be same at both side, in Useradmin and in config tool.

Hello,
There are two reasons for the Clusterwide exception:
1) Firstly, check whether all the referenced components (any used DCs) are already deployed on the server. If not, then first deploy those components and then try deploying the eform.ear again
2) If all the dependent components are already deployed, then the reason for this error is that there is already an .ear deployed on the J2EE server with the same application and/or component name. So, you must either:
a) Undeploy the previous application (having the same application name as the eform.ear application)
OR
b) Create a new application in the eform.ear project and rename the component. Renaming the component would require changing the name of the component in the implementation as well, wherever the component has been referenced. The newly created application must be mapped to this new component.
Then try re-deploying the eform.ear again.

when I deploy and run application , I get following error:-

why does it say only administrator can deploy? I am uing login which has admin rights.
2. is there any other way to deploy ear file? using some SDM or other way? How?

I tried using SDM, same error message: only adminsitrators have rights to perform this action.
I think, I am not able to access J2EE engine.
How to get J2EE engine access?

Hi,
As per log, You tried to deploy application when someone was accessing it. You need to ensure that noone is using the application before deploying it. In such situation, webdynpro application goes to stopping/red status on server. You can now resolve this issue in two ways:
1. Restart your portal which will reset all application status to active
2. Ask Administrator to use NWA to stop and start application.
First option will always work!

Hi Friends,
I deploy and run my webdynpro application on Portal server.
is tehre any way for ot deployment, as every time deployement takes 10 to 15 minutes to deploy the file.

It shouldn't take that long to deploy, is the server in a remote location? Anyway, you can install a local engine with on your laptop or a machine at least inside your building. Then you can deploy to it as you like, when you have a finished product, then deploy to your engine which the portal is running on.
For this local engine, all you need is the engine, you don't need the portal.

Problem acessing webdynpro applications deployed using SDM

Dear All,
We have two seperate boxes for ECC 5.0 and (WEBAS + EP).
I am trying to run ESS and MSS on portal.
I downloaded BP for ESS/MSS 100(for souce cose) and ESS/MSS 60.1(iview and other content) both.
I deployed them both through SDM.
I maintained all required JCo connection with ECC system as my target system.
I maintained SAP_WEBDYNPRO_XSS system as my WAS system.
I can see ESS/MSS roles and pages etc in portal.
Also in webdynpro content administration i can see all deployed service i.e. ess/ar/pdata etc.
When i select any of the service, and drip down to application node, i get error
"Failed to find classpath for sap.com/ess~ben"
or whatever service i select.
when i run the application i get attached error.
if you have any clue.. what is missing?

I have deployed ESS, MSS and SAPPCUI_GP files.. and in SDM i can see they are successful deployed..
in ESS deployment there was some error for ess/tra
and other component ess/tra/*
no idea that will cause this issues. check the log in SDM.

I Have entered the J2ee Engine Details.
J2ee Engine is Working Fine.When i Deploy The Application It is Asking for SDM Password and i enter Password.

i have checked the port number.
The port number is correct only.
In show view of J2ee Engine :
The Dispatcher, SDM and Server are in Active(green) state only.

JavaFX application deployment problem - Error: Unable to load resource

I am developing my first JavaFX application. When I install the jnlp and jar files on my web server I have no problems using the application from either my development machine (Windows XP) or my test machines (Windows XP & Mac OS X). However, one person evaluating the application reports getting the following error:
Error: Unable to load resource: http://dl.javafx.com/1.3/javafx-rt-windows-i586__V1.3.0_b412.jar
What are the possible causes of this problem and how can they be resolved?

If being able to redistribute the JavaFX runtime is important to you, make sure you let Oracle know. Personally I'd prefer to host it myself or bundle it with an application installer. Being forced to rely on dl.javafx.com isn't acceptable for me.

Deployment aborted while deploying a webdynpro application

Hi SDNers,
While deploying a webdynpro application deployment aborted and shown the following error.

Hi,
Sometimes I get this error. It is usually solved by restarting the SDM server.
Switch to the J2EE Engine view in NWDS and right click the SDM server. Restart process.

Problem while deploying WD application thru SDM

Hi friends ,facing problem while deploying webdynpro application on SDM.It takes much time deployment but for the past 1 or 2 day its not working properly ..i..e error is coming while deploying WD application................................................"Cannot login to the SAP J2EE Engine using user and password as provided in the Filesystem Secure Store. Enter valid login information in the Filesystem Secure Store using the SAP J2EE Engine Config Tool. For more information, see SAP note 701654.."
If how know how to resolve this then waiting for ur response..

Hi Hanif,
The SDM password should be reset if it is not the same as mentioned in your Filesystem Secure Store or vice versa.
If you have changed your administrator password, kindly do change the same in secure store as well via the config tool.
Use the Config Tool to change the entry in secure storage as follows:
1. Start the Config Tool.
           (Go to <drive>:\usr\sap\<SID>\<instance>\j2ee\configtool --> configtool.bat.)
2. Select the secure store node.
           The configuration for the secure storage in the file system appears.
3. Select the admin/password/<SID> entry.
4. Enter the administrator user's new password in the "Value" field and choose "Add".
5. Choose "File" --> "Apply" to save the data.
          Note: Contrary to the message that appears, you do not need to restart the server or cluster for this change to take effect.
6. Finally restart SDM server.

Runtime Error While executing the WebDynpro Application

I am getting the Runtime Error While executing the WebDynpro Application. The error message is "TSV_TNEW_OCCURS_NO_ROLL_MEMORY".
It says like "
Short text
    No roll storage space of length 9728 available for OCCURS area.
What happened?
    Each transaction requires some main memory space to process
    application data. If the operating system cannot provide any more
    space, the transaction is terminated.
But while executing some other Web Dynpro Applications, i am not facing this problem.

Generally this error is a result of an infinite loop on internal table or select endselect statement where by severs temporary memory gets full. With no memory to insert new records in temporary memory system generates the dump.
Check your application or ask basis consultant to look at the memory parameters in instance profile.
