Webflow problems

Hi,I have created a portal and want to use webflow in it.I have webflow events like link and button in my jsp.When I click on the links and buttons the webflow opens the pages in a different window.How can I make them displayed in the same portal framework (like how the portlets work?) ? Here is the jsp link :<a href="<%= WebflowJSPHelper.createWebflowURL(pageContext, main.jsp", "link(back)", true)%">">I even tried giving portalized=true and dest=portal.jsp but somehow i was not able to make it work?Does anyone know how to overcome this problem?Thanks in advance.Thanks,almeida

Hi Almeida,
You might take a look at the sample on developer.bea.com which
demonstrates the use of Webflows in a Portal. Look for it under
the code samples/alpha code section.
Thanks,

  • Admin portal after SP3

    I have just upgraded my App to SP3 and things seemed to be working fine. The server
    console and App both seem to be operating fine. However, the portal admin page
    broke. On the large left frame, there is a message:
    Unable to render /framework/skeletons/beaTools/book_editors_outer.jsp
    Any ideas on what this could be?
    Thanks!

    I had something like that because the menu was adding an extra /

  • Webflow Web Application Configuration Problem

    I am trying to use BEA&#8217;s webflow tool to handle navigation within a series
    of JSP pages, input processors, and pipeline components. The JSP pages will capture
    user profile information beyond the normal User ID and Password (user interests,
    etc). This information will be stored in the database, and be used to customize
    the user experience.
    I am using the validated form tag, and the webflow tag libraries in the JSP in
    order to take advantage of some pre-built validation tools.
    My web application is named conahec, and my namespace is called test.wf.
    The JSP page comes up perfectly, but when I enter data on the page to test it,
    and hit the save button, I get the following error:
    <Mar 8, 2002 8:48:54 AM MST> <Error> <Webflow> <Error while parsing uri
    /conahec/application, path null, query string null - Webflow XML does not exist,

    As you can see, it appears that the webapp is not defined. The only way the web

    Hello there,
    the scenario is about webflow services together with the portal (SSO authentication). How can I investigate if it's the workflow (or the portal) which is causing the problem (no errors, just slow). It seems that for some users it's working faster than with others.

    connected to a webflow say Bwebflow) ?

    I have a portlet with a page associated with it having various portlets.
    Its webflow(named
    as Awebflow) has a JSP that generates events which are connected to other
    webflows.
    These connected webflows are not associated with any portlet's.
    Now suppose an event say link.save is generated from Awebflow which gets
    connected
    to a webflow say Bwebflow which displays a JSP. This JSP will be generating
    events
    which will do further processing. I tried using <portlet: validatedform
    but the
    problem faced in this case is that it does not find the node since it
    takes the
    default namespace as of Awebflow instead of Bwebflow. I tried using <webflow:validatedform
    but the problem is that it gets disassociated with the Page as a result
    the portlets
    displayed with Awebflow are not visible. Is there any solution to this
    problem?

  • Problem using my own webservice in webflow definition

    Hi,
    I am trying to register an external webservice using WFWS transaction, but in some cases WSDL definition is not well-recognized by SAP.
    For example, I can import google service (http://api.google.com/GoogleSearch.wsdl) but I can't use Amazon service (http://soap.amazon.com/schemas3/AmazonWebServices.wsdl).
    I can't use any webservice that I have made using developer studio due to a similar reason.
    Can anyone help me?
    Thanks,

    I just seen an error in the code above, I've forget 1 line.
    But the problem remain the same.
    Toolkit tlk;
    Image img;
    Cursor cur;
    tlk = getToolkit(); // I've also tried : tlk = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit();
    img = tlk.getImage( "dndred.gif" ); // the file exists, it is displayed on the Canvas
    cur = tlk.createCustomCursor( img, new Point( 1, 1 ), "DragAndDrop" ); // Exception when running
    setCursor( cur );
    Please help me.

    The following are my issues and questions
    1. what is the type of system to be created in portal.
    BI JDBC System
    BI ODBO-Compliant OLAP System
    KM Windows System

    2. what is the configuration need to be done in Universal Worklist & Workflow
    3. Any other configurations need to be done in WAS server and SAP server.
    Please anyone give me the solutions and it is urgent.
    Thanks in advance
    Thanks

    Hi,
    <b>1. What is the type of system to be created in portal ?</b>
    This depends on what type of a system are you trying to connect to. If it's an ECC system or R3 system, you may use SAP system using dedicated application server. Give an alias to it and check the permissions of that system.
    <b>2. What is the configuration need to be done in Universal Worklist & Workflow ?</b>
    You have register this system now. Go to System Administration -> System Configuration -> Universal Worklist Administration -> UWL Configuration -> Chose New -> Enter the Name, System Alias and select WebFlowConnector.
    In the System Administration -> System Configuration -> Universal Worklist Administration -> Registration for all types of Universal Worklist WebFlow, register item types by clicking "Register Item types for all systems". Alternatively, you can also click on "Register items types for new systems".
    <b>3. Any other configurations need to be done in WAS server and SAP server ?</b>
    The portal user should have corresponding user on the ECC or R3 system or whichever backend system you are trying to connect to. This user should be authorized to have RFC access to function group SWK1 and transaction SWK1.
    Please refer to this document which lists out all the steps. Please refer to minimal configuration section. https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/a3461636-0301-0010-3787-978f5ac8bd45

  • ORA-01722: invalid number when updating a CMP bean, SP10 WebLogic_RDBMS.jar problem?

    Hi guys
    We are having a problem with the migration to WLCS 3.2 SP2 / WLS 5.1 SP10.
    We are moving from WLCS 3.2 and WLS SP6. Our CMP beans generate errors when
    the container tries to update them. They deploy without error though.
    See below for the stack trace
    We use the recommended weblogic driver for our Oracle 8.1.7.0 database. WL
    runs on w2k, and Oracle on Solaris 7.
    Extract from set-environment:
    SET DB_CLASSPATH=
    SET PATH=%PATH%;%WEBLOGIC_HOME%\bin\oci815_8;%WLCS_ORACLE_HOME%\bin
    SET
    SQLPATH=C:\WebLogicCommerceServer3.2\db\oracle816;C:\WebLogicCommerceServer3
    .2\db\oracle816\event;
    Extract from weblogic.properties:
    weblogic.jdbc.connectionPool.commercePool=\
    url=jdbc:weblogic:oracle,\
    driver=weblogic.jdbc.oci.Driver,\
    I made a few experiments, and I noticed that generating the CMP classes
    (with EJBC) with the old WebLogic_RDBMS.jar (from WLS SP6) is working fine.
    Here is what I mean : ejbc uses the library
    c:\weblogic\lib\persistence\WebLogic_RDBMS.jar And this library has changed
    with SP10. However since that change and after rebuilding our jars, all CMP
    entity beans fail to update.
    If I just replace that WebLogic_RDBMS.jar with the previous one (from SP6),
    and without changing anything else, our CMP beans work fine. I did not
    change any driver or xml deployment descriptor.
    One of the generated files in the jar (for our bean
    VisibilityPSWebLogic_CMP_RDBMS.class) differs, and that seems to be the
    cause of the problem.
    I jadded that class and here is a difference I notice:
    OLD, ejbc ran with SP6 WebLogic_RDBMS.jar : visibilitybean.targetCompanyId =
    (BigDecimal)resultset.getObject(5);
    NEW, ejbc ran with SP10 WebLogic_RDBMS.jar : visibilitybean.targetCompanyId
    = resultset.getBigDecimal(5, 35);
    Similar differences for the SETbigdecimal.
    Dunno if that will help, but I'm attaching the 2 jar files with explicit
    names.
    Damn that was long, I hope someone will read it... Thanks for any help on
    this, see stack trace attached below

    You are using WebLogic jDriver for Oracle which needs exact version of OCI API, that comes with the Oracle client installation. Ensure that you have installed the right Oracle client version. And updated the PATH properly.
    I notice that you have
    bin/oci815_8
    oracle816
    Thsi looks liek the inconsistency in your environment.
    What you need to do is
    1. find oci817_8 and place that in the PATH.
    2. install oracle 817 and use that client and set the ORACLE_HOME environment variable and the PATH properly.
    Try this and see if it helps.
    BTW - WLS 5.1 is EOL

  • Problem in synching multiple web applications

    I have a domain called myDomain. In this domain I have 2 enterprise applications
    say
    ent1App with ent1App-project and ent2App with its ent2App-project. Each enterpsrise
    application has one web application
    (webApp1 and webApp2 respectively). I have the same set of webflow files (.wf
    files) in both
    ent1App-project/application-sync/web-apps/webApp1 and ent2App-project/application-sync/web-apps/webApp2
    directories.
    Now suppose I synchronize my webflows (using EBCC) for say ent1App. The synchronization
    is accomplished without any problems
    and this is confirmed when the entries get updated in the Master Data Repository
    where all the webflows for ent1App get
    stored. This is as viewd using the datasyncservlet.
    If I now do a synchronization on the other enterprise application called ent2App,
    the synchronization takes place
    successfully but when viewed in the datasyncservlet, it shows up the entries for
    the webflows of ent2App. i.e. the entries
    for all the weblows of ent1App which were shown in the Master Data repository
    are not shown.
    We looked up the Cloudscape database to ensure that the entries for both the enterprise
    applications are present and it does
    contain the records for both the applications. This however does not show up in
    the datasync servlet. Due to this we get a
    namespace not found error whenever we try to access the application whose entries
    are missing in the master data repository.
    I have separate names for my datasync folder for each of the applications in my
    config.xml as shown below
    ent1App

    When you peform a data sync you are updating the data_sync_item table
    with the EBCC xml files. For those files that are not present in the
    EBCC project they will be deleted from the table.
    You can not use multiple enterprise applications that contain Portals.
    Try using using multiple domains that contain separate databases for
    datasyncs.
    Here is a snippet I recently sent out in a support case:
    Unfortunately there is not a documented best practice for maintaining
    multiple projects and enterprise applications. In my opinion if you
    plan to create multiple enterprise applications they will need to
    maintain separate application components and web applications. The
    enterprise applications will need to use the same portal resources
    (pools) and therefore same tables. The synchronization modes documented
    at http://e-docs.bea.com/wlp/docs40/deploygd/appdata.htm explain the
    limitations in data sync -- either all files are deleted and updated or
    only modified files are updated. Either mode will delete files from the
    data_sync_item table that do not exist in the current project.
    Therefore one project will need to be used per domain.

    I have a domain called myDomain. In this domain I have 2 enterprise applications
    say
    ent1App with ent1App-project and ent2App with its ent2App-project. Each enterpsrise
    application has one web application
    (webApp1 and webApp2 respectively). I have the same set of webflow files (.wf
    files) in both
    ent1App-project/application-sync/web-apps/webApp1 and ent2App-project/application-sync/web-apps/webApp2
    directories.
    Now suppose I synchronize my webflows (using EBCC) for say ent1App. The synchronization
    is accomplished without any problems
    and this is confirmed when the entries get updated in the Master Data Repository
    where all the webflows for ent1App get
    stored. This is as viewd using the datasyncservlet.
    If I now do a synchronization on the other enterprise application called ent2App,
    the synchronization takes place
    successfully but when viewed in the datasyncservlet, it shows up the entries for
    the webflows of ent2App. i.e. the entries
    for all the weblows of ent1App which were shown in the Master Data repository
    are not shown.
    We looked up the Cloudscape database to ensure that the entries for both the enterprise
    applications are present and it does
    contain the records for both the applications. This however does not show up in
    the datasync servlet. Due to this we get a
    namespace not found error whenever we try to access the application whose entries
    are missing in the master data repository.
    I have separate names for my datasync folder for each of the applications in my
    config.xml as shown below
    ent1App
    <Application Deployed="true" Name="ent1App"
    Path=".\config\myDomain\applications\ent1App" StagedTargets="iden_staging">
         <WebAppComponent DeploymentOrder="1002" Name="datasync" Targets="iden_staging"
    URI="datasync"/>
    ent2App
    <Application Deployed="true" Name="ent2App"
    Path=".\config\myDomain\applications\ent2App" StagedTargets="iden_staging">
    <WebAppComponent DeploymentOrder="1002" Name="datasyncDev"
    Targets="iden_staging" URI="datasyncDev"/>

    If I repatriate item I see never data for my new shopping cart.
    For other informations status for item is To be Processed.¨
    Please help for this problem for all experts.

    Hello Steve,
    To remove action from specific workitems, you can do this in the UWL  configuration file.
    1) Download the configuration file (in ZIP format). Go to:
    System Administration &gt; System Configuration &gt; Universal Worklist &#38; Workflow &gt; Universal Worklist Administration
    Click to "Administrate Item Types and View definition".
    Then download file 'com.sap.pct.srm.core'.
    2) Navigate to each WI you would like to change:
    - &lt;ItemType name="uwl.task.webflow.srm.TS40007952"... (SC Completion)
    - &lt;ItemType name="uwl.task.webflow.srm.TS40007953"... (SC Approval)
    - &lt;ItemType name="uwl.task.webflow.srm.TS40007954"... (SC Approval)
    3) Within those item types, put a new property to action reference "reject" for 'Actions' definition like below:
    <Properties>
       <Property name="display_order_priority" value="uwlExcludeFromPreviewDetail" />
    </Properties>
    4) Save and upload file again.
    Regards.
    Laurent.

  • Multiple namespaces on a webflow

    Hello ... i am working with weblogic portal 7.0 SP2
    my program is about curriculum management (add/edit/remove,..)
    and have one webflow and one portlet
    the webflow is about 100Kb and the ebcc said that it cant open it ;)
    Now i need to divide the webflow into multiple webflows (or namespaces) .
    But i cant find the method to divide the webflow into multiple webflows (one for each action, add, modify, delete,...)
    the <webflow-filename> only supports 1 webflow ...
    anyone has the same problem ??
    anyone knows a solution ??
    thanks

    I´ll give you an example what I want to do:
    I have a gateway with two dial-peer voice xxx pots, both with destination pattern 0049T for calls from outside to Germany.
    When the gateway is registerd to the gatekeeper, the gatekeeper can give this information to other gateways which now can establish calls to my gateway in Germany.
    Now I want to increase the number of B-channels from 60 to 120. For this I´m going to install a second gateway here in Germany, of course with a different ip address. On my second gateway I will also have two dial-peer voice xxx pots, both with destination pattern 0049T. When the sencond gateway also registers to the same gatekeeper, the gatekeeper will have now two possible ip targets for the destination pattern 0049T.
    So what will happen, if outside gateways ask the gatekeeper for 0049T?
    Will the gatekeeper do a load-sharing to the two gateways in Germany? Is the gatekeeper able to see, if a gateway has free B-channels?
    Thanks for your reply,
    Martin.
