Webservice with zip attached file

Hi everyone.
I have to receive a webservice with a zip archive as an attachment.
I think that i can do this in two steps. First of all, i have to get that file and put it in a folder. Problem is that is not a plain text or a xml so i don't know how to save it.
First i use the PayloadSwapBean so i set the attachment as the payload. But now ... how can i save this ZIP file?
Regards,
Inigo.

Hi
Your first step is right as use the PayloadSwapBean to swap the Attachement and the SOAP payload and use this in your mapping
Now you have to use the PayloadZipBean module here.
More on that ..

Also Refer for step by step process for Zip files

Just as a Note : youhave to use these modules in SOAP receiver, you can't use it SOAP sender.
Thanks

    This doesn't look like a problem with Firefox, but with the attachment that you are putting on the email is blocked. You can read the link the error message gave you, which basically says that :
    "ade", "adp", "bat", "chm", "cmd", "com", "cpl", "exe",
    "hta", "ins", "isp", "jse", "lib", "mde", "msc", "msp",
    "mst", "pif", "scr", "sct", "shb", "sys", "vb", "vbe",
    "vbs", "vxd", "wsc", "wsf", "wsh"
    Gmail won't accept these types of files even if they are sent in a zipped (.zip, .tar, .tgz, .taz, .z, .gz, .rar) format. If this type of message is sent to your Gmail address, it is bounced back to the sender automatically.

  • How to create list items with multiple attachment files using rest api javascript

    In one of user form I am using javascript rest api to create a list item with multiple attachment files. So far I am able to create list item and once created uploading an attachment file. But this is two step process first create an item and then upload
    a file.
    It create an additional version of the item which is not desired. Also I am not able find a way to attach multiple files in a go. Following is the code I am using.
    createitem.executeAsync({
                    url: "/_api/web/lists/GetByTitle('UserForm')/items(1)/AttachmentFiles/add(FileName='" + aFile.name + "')",
                    method: "POST",
                    contentType: "application/json;odata=verbose",
                    headers: {
                        "Accept": "application/json;odata=verbose",
                        "X-RequestDigest": $("#__REQUESTDIGEST").val()
                    binaryStringRequestBody: true,
                    body: fileContent,
                    success: fnsuccess,
                    error: fnerror
    So somehow I need to combine item attributes along with attachment files in body: param. I visited https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/dn531433.aspx#bk_ListItem but no success.
    Appreciate any help.

    Thanks Mahesh for the reply and post you share it was useful.
    But this does not solve the core of the issue. You are uploading attachments after creation of item and multiple files are being attached in loop. This is kind of iterative update to an existing item with attachments. This will end up creating multiple versions.
    What I am trying to achieve is to create an item along with multiple attachments in a go. No item updates further to attach a file.
    Please suggest how this can be done in one go. SharePoint does it when one creates an item with multiple attachment.
    Thanks for your reply.

  • Why does the file Name for file attached with Annotations "Attach File" (paperclip) become Unknown when Comments are Published?

    Our company recently purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro XI for the purpose of using it for shared electronic reviews.  We are using Send for Shared Review created in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, and all the Comment tools work as expectedexcept the paperclip in Annotations.
    When a Word or Excel or Image(png,jpeg) file is attached using the Annotations paperclip, the initiator can initially see and open it. But after Publish Comments is selected and the review file is closed, the file "Name" changes to "Unknown" (although the Description has the correct file name and extension).  The Modified information is Unknown, as is the Size and Compressed Size.
    When the review file is then re-opened, even the initiator cannot open the file, although:
    The file location is marked with the paperclip within the document.
    The file name is shown in the Comments List with the initiator's name.
    In the Attachments list (the paperclip beneath the Thumbnails and Bookmarks) the Name appears as Unknown, Description shows the file name, Modified is Unknown, Size is Unknown, and Compressed Size is Unknown.
    The file Name cannot be edited, although the file Description can be.
    We have followed the procedure described in the tutorials but cannot figure out how to troubleshoot this situation.  Since this feature was the reason for the purchase of Adobe Acrobat Pro IX, we would any help. Please don't leave out any basics since we are all new users.
    We have several people with Adobe Acrobat Pro XI and the rest have Adobe Reader XI and it is a Windows platform.  Can someone please give us some advice how to get this feature to work as described?

  • CFMAIL with zip-attachment

    I have a function which creates some xls-files and pack it
    into a zip-archive, the created file is named 1234.zip and is saved
    at the server. This function works correct.
    After that the created file should be send by cfmail but when
    I receive the mail the attached file is named
    att23423.att or similar. The file itself is correct, I can

    I run the same function for sending xls- or pdf-files and

    Any Ideas?? I would appreciate any suggestion.

    Hi Guido,
    There is not a very complex configuration required for attachments. You have to follow the general configuration steps along with the instructions mentioned at below link -

    To change that setting go to Mail>Preferences>Accounts>"Advanced" box over in the upper right side of the window>in the line below that that says "Keep Copies of Messages for Offline Viewing:",click on the drop down arrows at the right end of that box just below it and select the phrase "All Messages, but Not Attachments".  It looks like this:

  • Some emails received with empty attachment file but visible in SAPOffice

    Hi,
    I hope someone can shed some light on this.  I couldn't find anything in OSS regarding this issue.  Our client suddenly started having a problem where emails sent out of the system containing .PDF attachments are being received sporadically as blank attachments.  This appears to be a performance issue and occurs randomly, typically in the middle of a batch of output being distributed by RSCONN01.
    Oddly enough, when we display the SAPOffice email in SOST the next day, the attachment is there.  If we resend, the attachment comes through fine.  This only occurs in batch.
    My instincts tell me this is occuring during the RFC call to MLUNXSND.  It's almost as if SENDMAIL is being triggered before the attachment is successfully written down to the unix level.
    Our network is notoriously poor.  I have no idea to which directory the attachments get written before the email is sent.
    Can anyone provide suggestions on where to look?  I'm thinking maybe a directory is full somewhere?  We've never archived anything.  This has been working successfully and without error for over 18 months now.  It just started happening a week or so ago.
    My only other thought is that perhaps the commit to the database is not complete when generated by RSNAST00 prior to running RSCONN01.  Is it possible that SCOT is processing the outbound email before the attachment data is completely written to the database?  I would have thought that a commit work in RSNAST00 would prevent this?
    Our basis group appears to be helpless and either unwilling or unable to research it further.  The fact that the output is fine in SAPOffice/SOST leads me to believe this is a problem at the UNIX level and is a basis issue, not an application issue.
    Thanks so much for any suggestions on where to look for help to this problem.  We are on 4.6C

    Is it possible that in batch mode perhaps multiple uuencode/sendmails are being called simultaneously and this is causing the problem where as when you run or test it manually you only invoke a single uuencode/sendmail at the unix level. (sendmail.cf)
    You can test from 1 unix with something like this to send /tmp/report.pdf via email
    uuencode /tmp/report.pdf report.pdf | mailx -s "test" ray[at]company.com
    Perhaps try a batch of 10 of them at once from unix too
    i=0;while [[ $i -lt 10 ]]
    do
       uuencode /tmp/report.pdf report$.pdf | mailx -s "test $i" ray[at]company.com &
       let i="$i+1"
    done
    Alternatively perhaps your system is only allowed to make limited outbound SMTP connections by a firewall or mail gateway that's the next hop after Unix?

  • How to create a webservice with return type File

    Hi All,
    I have a class Letter and I am trying to expose viewReport as webservice.
    In Jdeveloper -> Business teir -> webservices -> Java web service and I have selected my method i.e. viewReport
    Now it throws error "The return type java.io.File of method viewReport can not be serialized into XML"
    I unserstood the issue but How can I achive this in JDeveloper
    public class Letter {
    public Letter() {
    super();
    public File viewReport(String name) {
    File folder = new File("C:\\APPS\\root\\pdf\\10052011");
    File[] listOfFiles = folder.listFiles();
    return listOfFiles[0];
    }

    You can't as File is nor serializable. It won't make sense as you would try to give a handle to a file on the server hosting the service to a remote system.
    Can you explain the use case in more detail?
    Timo

  • Error uploading pages with multiple attached files

    Contribute Version 3.11
    Error Message: An Unknown error occurred in the Contribute
    file state manager
    We have been encountering an error when we publish pages that
    have links to files on our local machines. It does upload the first
    linked file but it does not upload the second or subsequent file.
    The error only appears to occur when you attempt to publish pages
    on which you have added more than 1 link to files from your
    computer. The normal behavior is that it will update the pages
    content and upload the linked files from the local machine to a
    folder called "documents" that contribute creates in the same
    directory as the webpage. The content of the page does get updated
    (changes to text or content attributes), however only one of the
    linked documents gets uploaded before the error occurs. It does not
    matter where the linked document is located on your local machine
    (C:, P: or subdirectories) and it does not matter what the linked
    file type is or how large it is. Also, the problem does not seem to
    arise until the user has several files in the documents
    folder.

    I have the same problem. It would appear this issue has been
    around a long time. No support available unless you want to spend
    $40 a pop. That kinda blows with a $1500.00 Suite that is buggy
    outta the box.

  • Some email with attached files can not be received

    email already recieved by my serverhost cannot be downloaded to my computer. It has to do with the attached files. Most of the time large attached files, especially with an Excel file.

    To diagnose problems with Thunderbird, try the following:
    *Restart the operating system in '''[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Safe_mode safe mode with Networking]'''. This loads only the very basics needed to start your computer while enabling an Internet connection. Click on your operating system for instructions on how to start in safe mode: [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/windows-startup-settings-including-safe-mode Windows 8], [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=windows-7 Windows 7], [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=windows-vista Windows Vista], [http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/boot_failsafe.mspx?mfr=true" Windows XP], [http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1564 OSX]
    ; If safe mode for the operating system fixes the issue, there's other software in your computer that's causing problems. Possibilities include but not limited to: AV scanning, virus/malware, background downloads such as program updates.

  • Javamail API doesn't support special characters in attachment file name

    Hi,
    We are using Java Mail API to retrieve the attachment's file name, but it sometimes returns the file name as junk character (if the attachment contains special characters) and it is not able to return original file name for some attachments:
    Our code sample :
    void getFileName(Part part) {
    String fname=null;
    fname = part.getFileName();
    Actually the problem is with the attachment file name which contains special character. For example below is the attachment file name (please find the sample attached file which is causing this issue):
    Sample – 1234abc.doc
    From above you could see the file name contains a special character (Sample – 1234abc.doc), i.e. The character ‘–’ is not a regular hyphen character, it’s a special character. Hence the Java mail API returns the name as below:
    Sample ? 1234abc.doc
    So the special character is being replaced with ‘?’ symbol. But if I store this file in local folder and try reading the file name using Java IO packages, it returns the file name without adding ‘?’ symbol.
    Is there any way to handle such kind of special characters in Mail API?
    Regards,
    Vinodh

    We dealt with this issue in a private email conversation.
    JavaMail is returning the correct data for the filename.  The problem is in the way the filename is being displayed.

  • Updating Attached File

    Please help!
    I've attached a .pdf file (attachment file) to another .pdf file (source file) using the "attach a file as a comment" tool on Acrobat 9.0.
    However, the problem is that I've updated the original attachment file by accessing it through the source file and saved it under a different name (updated attachment file).
    I noticed when I clicked on the icon on the source file that the attachment file content is different from the content of the updated attachment file. In other words, the attachment on the source file was not synced with updated attachment file that had the changes on it.
    Seeing this, I tried to find the original attachment file to update that directly. However, when I look at the properties of the original attachment file, the path leads only to the file where the source file is found.
    Is there any way of accessing this original attachment file or having the changes synced when I make changes to the file that I originally attached?
    Also, does the new Acrobat X have functions that would solve my problem with the "attach a file as a comment" tool?

    There are no 'auto sync' features for attached files in any PDF software. Once you attach something you are creating a totally independent copy. You have to delete the attachment and add it back again.
