WebServiceClient problem

Hy, i am trying to use the @WebServiceClient to consume a specific web service.
I am getting the following error:
javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException: Port "{http://localhost:7001/TestProxyService
s/test}TestSoapPort" not found in service "{http://www.teste.com.br}TestService"It seems to me that the support to Web services using EJB3 with weblogic 10 still is not a mature sollution. Does anyone know the solution for this, or if there is another way to consume web-services inside my business objects(EJBS) ?
Thanks,
Carlos

I fix the problem fixing the targetNamespace of the @WebServiceClient class. Must be the same of the WSDL definition.
However my ALSB is receiving a empty document structure
<Jun 26, 2008 4:55:15 PM GMT-03:00> <Error> <ALSB Logging> <BEA-000000> < [PipelinePair GetOrder, PipelinePair GetOrder_request, LOG, REQUEST] <S

</S:Body>All the examples that i saw in the web doesn´t use a complex type in the web-service. Does anyone know how to fix that?
Thanks

  • Problem deploying webserviceclient.jar on 6.1 sp1

    Hi, I am having trouble deploying a Web Service client on 6.1 sp1.
    We are waiting for 7.1 sp1 to upgrade.
    I'm using the JAX-RPC stuff from webserviceclient.jar from 7.0.0.1.
    I deployed my code in a .war file that includes webserviceclient.jar, and
    the .jar that clientgen generated.
    When my code gets to the line marked below, it chokes hard (it doesn't even
    seem to throw an exception).
    // Setup the global JAX-RPC service factory
    System.setProperty( "javax.xml.rpc.ServiceFactory",
    "weblogic.webservice.core.rpc.ServiceFactoryImpl");
    // Execute the Web Service
    String reportName = "CustomerHasLicensed";
    String[] arguments = new String[1];
    try {
    logger_.logInfo(CLASSNAME,METHOD,"in try block");
    AuthHeader authHeader = new
    AuthHeader("sysname","4354lkjasdfasdf234");
    logger_.logInfo(CLASSNAME,METHOD,"created AuthHeader");
    arguments[0] = "100";
    // ***** THIS IS THE LINE WHERE IT CHOKES ****
    SystemReports_Impl test = new SystemReports_Impl();
    logger_.logInfo(CLASSNAME,METHOD,"Created impl");
    SystemReportsSoap soap = test.getSystemReportsSoap();
    logger_.logInfo(CLASSNAME,METHOD,"got soap");
    Reports reports = soap.getReports(reportName, arguments,
    authHeader);
    logger_.logInfo(CLASSNAME,METHOD,"fired webservice");
    String head = reports.getHead();
    logger_.logInfo(CLASSNAME,METHOD,"got header");
    String body = reports.getBody();
    String foot = reports.getFoot();
    logger_.logInfo(CLASSNAME,METHOD,"##### head:"+head+"
    #####body:"+body+ " ####foot:"+foot);
    catch (Exception e) {
    logger_.logError(CLASSNAME,METHOD,e.toString());
    throw new ProgramException(e);
    The only thing that I can think of is that it can't find the wsdl or xml (it
    is in the .jar) -- like a class loader problem or something.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks!
    Mike

    Thanks for the response.
    Is there any workaround?
    That is pretty lame since the documentation encourages redistributing
    webservicesclient.jar.
    You'd think that with that type of encouragement it would run on the last
    version of WLS.

    WLS 7.0 client can not run on 6.1 due to conflict in the
    some util classes. Sorry about that.

    I also tried adding webservices.jar to the .war, but that didn't help.
    Any ideas?
    Can you run this stuff on 6.1?

    I solved this problem by commenting the 8.1 SP4 patches i applied in 8.1 SP2
    WebLogic Temporary Patch for CR211812
    WebLogic Temporary Patch for CR235145
    Once i commented the above patches in the CLASSPATH.
    The issue is resolved.

    Regards,

    I'm using Weblogic 7.0.
    You must use two jars:
    - webserviceclient+ssl.jar, which you can find somewhere in the
    weblogic distribution, and
    - the jar containing the proxy classes, which is created by the
    tool jwsCompile when you compile the webservice (edited with Workshop). For this
    latter you may follow the instructions in
    http://e-docs.bea.com/workshop/docs70/help/index.html#guide/
    tutorial/tutFirstWebServiceIntro.html at step 8
    Still, if you happen to understand what my problem is, hints for
    me are really welcome.

    Hi
    I tried object[] that was working fine but the requirement for the project
    is that we should use arraylists.i found a solution like i overwrote the xml in
    client.jar but again looks like i have to regenrate the stubs.
    Is there any way to regenerate except using the clientgen
    this time i got

  • Mx4j 2.0 (jmx 1.2) class resolution problem

    I'm having a problem where the resolution of the MX4J javax.management.ObjectName
    getInstance() method is failing. I'm using MX4J 2.0 (jmx 1.2), and the method
    that can't be found makes it look like WL is referencing jmx 1.1 or 1.0 class
    files (this method does't exist prior to jmx 1.2). I've set <prefer-web-inf-classes>true</prefer-web-inf-classes>
    in weblogic.xml, and put the correct MX4J jars in the war file.
    Has anyone run MX4J 2.0 succesfully? Any hints?
    The dump is below, any help appreciated. - jim

    From Metalink Note 236914.1:
    Solution
    To fix this check that you have your oui HOME in the location
    C:\program files\oracle
    If not. Copy the whole oracle folder from where your OUI HOME are now and place it under c:\program files
    Change your inst_loc variable in the registry to c:\program files\oracle\inventory
    The location of this variable in the registry is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE
    Now apply the patch with opatch
    After the patch has been applied you can of course move your oui HOME back again but remember to update your inst_loc variable in the registry.

  • A problem with threads

    I am trying to implement some kind of a server listening for requests. The listener part of the app, is a daemon thread that listens for connections and instantiates a handling daemon thread once it gets some. However, my problem is that i must be able to kill the listening thread at the user's will (say via a sto button). I have done this via the Sun's proposed way, by testing a boolean flag in the loop, which is set to false when i wish to kill the thread. The problem with this thing is the following...
    Once the thread starts excecuting, it will test the flag, find it true and enter the loop. At some point it will LOCK on the server socket waiting for connection. Unless some client actually connects, it will keep on listening indefinatelly whithought ever bothering to check for the flag again (no matter how many times you set the damn thing to false).
    My question is this: Is there any real, non-theoretical, applied way to stop thread in java safely?
    Thank you in advance,
    Lefty

    This was one solution from the socket programming forum, have you tried this??
    public Thread MyThread extends Thread{
         boolean active = true;
         public void run(){
              ss.setSoTimeout(90);
              while (active){
                   try{
                        serverSocket = ss.accept();
                   catch (SocketTimeoutException ste){
                   // do nothing
         // interrupt thread
         public void deactivate(){
              active = false;
              // you gotta sleep for a time longer than the
              // accept() timeout to make sure that timeout is finished.
              try{
                   sleep(91);
              }catch (InterruptedException ie){
              interrupt();
    }

    You can also try to provide a greater Priority to your player thread so that it gains the CPU time when ever it needs it and don't harm the playback.
    However a loop in a Thread and that to an infinite loop is one kind of very bad programming, 'cuz the loop eats up most of your CPU time which in turn adds up more delays of the execution of other tasks (just as in your case it is the playback). By witting codes bit efficiently and planning out the architectural execution flow of the app before start writing the code helps solve these kind of issues.
    You can go through [this simple tutorial|http://oreilly.com/catalog/expjava/excerpt/index.html] about Basics of Java and Threads to know more about threads.

  • J2ME problem with threads

    Hi all,
    I would like to ask you for a help. I need to write a small program at my university. I started to write a midlet which function would be to countdown time for sports activities. I woul like to start a new thread - the one that counts down - and at the same time make the main thread sleep. After the "countdown" thread finishes, the main thread wakes up and waits for user input. The problem is that when the "countdown" thread finishes his work, I've got Uncaught exception java/lang/NullPointerException. error and the midlet halts.
    Below you can find the code

    Groovemaker,
    Your Licznik class has a member m of type monitor, which has not been instantiated (in other words is null) hence, when calling m.put() you get NullPointerException. Please also mind, that using Thread.sleep(1000) is not an accurate way of measuring time.
    If I may, please use recommended for Java class naming conventions - some of your names use lower case, while other don't which is confusing to the reader.

  • Problem with threads within applet

    Hello,
    I got an applet, inside this applet I have a singleton, inside this singleton I have a thread.
    this thread is running in endless loop.
    he is doing something and go to sleep on and on.
    the problem is,
    when I refresh my IE6 browser I see more than 1 thread.
    for debug matter, I did the following things:
    inside the thread, sysout every time he goes to sleep.
    sysout in the singleton constructor.
    sysout in the singleton destructor.
    the output goes like this:
    when refresh the page, the singleton constructor loading but not every refresh, sometimes I see the constructor output and sometimes I dont.
    The thread inside the singleton is giving me the same output, sometime I see more than one thread at a time and sometimes I dont.
    The destructor never works (no output there).
    I don't understand what is going on.
    someone can please shed some light?
    thanks.
    btw. I am working with JRE 1.1
    this is very old and big applet and I can't convert it to something new.

    Ooops. sorry!
    I did.

  • Problem with Threads and a static variable

    I have a problem with the code below. I am yet to make sure that I understand the problem. Correct me if I am wrong please.
    Code functionality:
    A timer calls SetState every second. It sets the state and sets boolean variable "changed" to true. Then notifies a main process thread to check if the state changed to send a message.
    The problem as far I understand is:
    Assume the timer Thread calls SetState twice before the main process Thread runs. As a result, "changed" is set to true twice. However, since the main process is blocked twice during the two calls to SetState, when it runs it would have the two SetState timer threads blocked on its synchronized body. It will pass the first one, send the message and set "changed" to false since it was true. Now, it will pass the second thread, but here is the problem, "changed" is already set to false. As a result, it won't send the message even though it is supposed to.
    Would you please let me know if my understanding is correct? If so, what would you propose to resolve the problem? Should I call wait some other or should I notify in a different way?
    Thanks,
    B.D.
    Code:
    private static volatile boolean bChanged = false;
    private static Thread objMainProcess;
       protected static void Init(){
            objMainProcess = new Thread() {
                public void run() {
                    while( objMainProcess == Thread.currentThread() ) {
                       GetState();
            objMainProcess.setDaemon( true );
            objMainProcess.start();
        public static void initStatusTimer(){
            if(objTimer == null)
                 objTimer = new javax.swing.Timer( 1000, new java.awt.event.ActionListener(){
                    public void actionPerformed( java.awt.event.ActionEvent evt){
                              SetState();
        private static void SetState(){
            if( objMainProcess == null ) return;
            synchronized( objMainProcess ) {
                bChanged = true;
                try{
                    objMainProcess.notify();
                }catch( IllegalMonitorStateException e ) {}
        private static boolean GetState() {
            if( objMainProcess == null ) return false;
            synchronized( objMainProcess ) {
                if( bChanged) {
                    SendMessage();
                    bChanged = false;
                    return true;
                try {
                    objMainProcess.wait();
                }catch( InterruptedException e ) {}
                return false;
        }

    Thanks DrClap for your reply. Everything you said is right. It is not easy to make them alternate since SetState() could be called from different places where the state could be anything else but a status message. Like a GREETING message for example. It is a handshaking message but not a status message.
    Again as you said, There is a reason I can't call sendMessage() inside setState().
    The only way I was able to do it is by having a counter of the number of notifies that have been called. Every time notify() is called a counter is incremented. Now instead of just checking if "changed" flag is true, I also check if notify counter is greater than zero. If both true, I send the message. If "changed" flag is false, I check again if the notify counter is greater than zero, I send the message. This way it works, but it is kind of a patch than a good design fix. I am yet to find a good solution.
    Thanks,
    B.D.

  • Problem with threads running javaw

    Hi,
    Having a problem with multi thread programming using client server sockets. The program works find when starting the the application in a console using java muti.java , but when using javaw multi.java the program doesnt die and have to kill it in the task manager. The program doesnt display any of my gui error messages either when the server disconnect the client. all works find in a console. any advice on this as I havent been able to understand why this is happening? any comment would be appreciated.
    troy.

    troy,
    Try and post a minimum code sample of your app which
    does not work.
    When using javaw, make sure you redirect the standard
    error and standard output streams to file.

    I dont understand what you mean by redirection to file? some of my code below.

  • Problem with Threads and "plase wait..."-Window

    Hi everyone,
    I have a problem that I'm not able to solve in any way... I have a time-consuming task (a file decryption) which I execute in a separate thread; I've used the SwingWorker class, like suggested by sun-tutorial, and it works right. The problem is that I have to wait that the decryption have finished before continuing with program-execution. Therefore I would like to display a "please wait"-window while the task runs. I've tryed all the possible ways I know but the problem is always the same: the waitWindow is displayed empty, the bounds are painted but the contents no; it's only painted when the decrypt-task has finished. Please help me, I have no more resources....
    decrypt-file code:
    public class DecryptFile {
      private String cryptedFileNameAndPath;
      private ByteArrayInputStream resultStream = null;
      // need for progress
      private int lengthOfTask;
      private int current = -1;
      private String statMessage;
      public DecryptFile(String encZipFileNameAndPath) {
        cryptedFileNameAndPath = encZipFileNameAndPath;
        //Compute length of task...
        // 0 for indeterminate
        lengthOfTask = 0;
      public ByteArrayInputStream getDecryptedInputStream() {
        return this.resultStream;
       * Called from ProgressBarDemo to start the task.
      public void go() {
        current = -1;
        final SwingWorker worker = new SwingWorker() {
          public Object construct() {
            return new ActualTask();
        worker.start();
       * Called from ProgressBarDemo to find out how much work needs
       * to be done.
      public int getLengthOfTask() {
        return lengthOfTask;
       * Called from ProgressBarDemo to find out how much has been done.
      public int getCurrent() {
        return current;
      public void stop() {
        current = lengthOfTask;
       * Called from ProgressBarDemo to find out if the task has completed.
      public boolean done() {
        if (current >= lengthOfTask)
          return true;
        else
          return false;
      public String getMessage() {
        return statMessage;
       * The actual long running task.  This runs in a SwingWorker thread.
      class ActualTask {
        ActualTask () {
          current = -1;
          statMessage = "";
          resultStream = AIUtil.getInputStreamFromEncZip(cryptedFileNameAndPath); //here the decryption happens
          current = 0;
          statMessage = "";
      }The code that calls decryption and displays waitWindow
          final WaitSplash wS = new WaitSplash("Please wait...");
          final DecryptFile cryptedTemplate = new DecryptFile (this.templateFile);
          cryptedTemplate.go();
          while (! cryptedTemplate.done()) {
            try {
              wait();
            } catch (Exception e) { }
          this.templateInputStream = cryptedTemplate.getDecryptedInputStream();
          wS.close();Thanks, thanks, thanks in advance!
    Edoardo

    Maybe you can try setting the priority of the long-running thread to be lower? so that the UI will be more responsive...

    im using jdk 1.6 with java wtk 2.1

    public void destroyApp(boolean unconditional)
    its just supposed to pause between the alerts using threads
    however when i run it using the wtk, the emulator run properly but when i launch the app, it stops executing giving me this:

    please can someone help me out with this, is it an error on my part or do i have to set some option.

    Hi gandalf123,
    First, Thread.sleep is a static method, so you don't need to create a Thread object to use it.
    I think the problem is due to the fact you don't preverify your midlet.
    More over, you don't need to double post your question.
