Website in several language

Hi!
I have publish my website in swedish with my iweb and it is ok but now I would like to have the same website in another language. I would have in my first webpage (the welcome page) a link to my website in english. Is it possible with iWeb?
I want that my customers can chose the language for to read my webpage, is it possible with iWeb?

You probably need to create parallel sites. It might be easiest to do this by running iWeb in different user accounts set to the language you want to use, so all the buttons will be in the right language.
You can let customers chose by creating hyperlinks to the different parallel sites on the topmost page of each one.

Hi there,
There is no option yet to localize the content in Muse.
If you would like to publish your site to business catalyst then creating different pages in the same Muse site is recommended.
Else, you can make a back up of this muse site and and create another site using this site, (save the same site with different name to another location) then open that one and edit text in site in another language, and then do the same for third language and so on.

It's from an older MacBook, it looks like, but I imagine that the MacBook Pro keybaord would be similar.

Firefox display website in other language but I want English

There are a lot of store websites that has different languages. I am Chinese but I set up my firefox in English and that's the only language but whenever I go to a website it will automatically go to the Chinese website.

Some sites automatically redirect you to a site in the local language, based on where your IP locates you.
There is usually a link on such websites choose a language or go to an international version that allows to choose the language.
Note that such a choice is stored in a cookie on your computer.
*Create a cookie 'allow' exception to keep such cookies, especially in case of secure websites and when cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
*Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: Exceptions

I could not read websites in tamil language(unicode)

When I try to read websites in tamil language example: http://ta.wikipedia.org , i see only boxes.
I use HTC Desire HD using Android 2.2
Android natively doesnt support tamil & dont have tamil font in it. I have rooted my phone and have tamil fonts copied.
I should be able to set default font to tamil font (example Lohit-tamil which I have in the system) to view tamil web pages.

follow these steps to read websites in tamil.
1) Download & Install Opera Mini
2) Type in your address bar: opera:config (without www.)
3) A settings will come, go to last option " Use bitmap fonts for complex scripts" select and save the settings.
Now u will be able to read Tamil Unicode Things...

My IMAC freezes continuously and I get a message in several languages to hold power button and power down. System reboots but then same thing happens

disconnect all peripherals other than apple, restart your Mac, if the message comesback then you have a bigger problem. If you do not get the message then go one by one connecting your devices.

Syndication of several languages

I need to syndicate several language codes, it seems that I need to have one syndication per language, 4 languages needs 4 syndications and 4 IDOCS. A lot of traffic. Have I missed something? Do anyone have a solution.

There are two ways of handling this.
1. Splitting Multilingual Fields by Value
2. Splitting Multilingual Fields by Language
The first option is available only for the scenario where the destination file is XML.

How do I publish a website in two languages?

Hi!
I'm pretty new to IWeb, I'm trying to publish my website in Spanish, and also in English. How do I do this without duplicating the buttons in the navigation bar? Say I want a flag to be the switch button, and then when I go to the Welcome page in the other language, I just want to see the navigation bar in that particular language.

One method is to create two pages of each page, one for your primary language and one for the second language. You can put small flag buttons on each page sending the visitor to the page which the flag represents.
When creating the pages you can use Language Switcher with iWeb to change languages when working on the pages.

Under System Initialisation > Company Details> Basic Initialisation there is an option to select Multi Language.
This initialises the "Translation" picker which allows you to store data on selected fields in different languages. You can then select languages for your Business Partners & create layouts that reflect the correct language for your Business Partner.
Search the help files and you will find guidance on how to do the set up.

Website in multi language technique

Hello, I'm working on a website that support more than one language and I try to understand the technique used by cms.
I can set a session variable to switch the content but inside the dw design view I don't see right the page.
For sample this website www.enel.com switch the language by a link and I don't know if use a url rewrite or have a mirror with other language.
I'm on the right way ?

I don't think there is any way to tell for sure. My guess is that they are dynamically populating the text with the language based on the user selection, and rewriting to friendly urls - but it could just be a mirror site. If the site is small, then maintaining a mirror in a different language is not that bad. If the site is larger, or you need to maintain more than two languages, I would think it would get to be a pain.
