What do I do when an app developer does not deal with a complaint?

Hi, am using a 16gb iPad, running IOS 8.1.3. I use an app most days, with in app purchases. They update regularly, but most of the times they update it causes problems, such as booting you out (up to 30 times a day). This has on many occasions caused me to lose money. When I contact them,they apologise, but have never refunded the losses. I would like to raise that complaint with Apple, but am not sure where to go to do this. Any help would be appreciated.     The disk needs to be properly formated & partitioned.
    Format a disk
    Macintosh-HD -> Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility
    Start up disk utility.
    On the left pane view, you will see a list of all your disks.  Click on the  disk.
    Click on the partition tab.
    You will now see how your  disk is currently set up.  Fill in the information as appropriate. You should pick Mac OS Extended (Journaled).
    Click on Options...
    Select Apple Partition Map to boot a PPC.

    Many people have the same problem. However, there is little or nothing readily available to users. This problem has existed for two or more years. Does anyone have anything to offer about this disturbing problem?

    Thanks for the suggestion kcell. I've tried both versions
    9.0.115 and 9.0.124 and both fail with the policy permission error.
    I also tried with and without your crossdomain.xml file but
    with the same result. It looks like this file is intended for URL
    policy, instead of socket policy. Recently Adobe separated the two.
    When I run with the files installed on my dev PC, it does
    work, which makes sense because the flash player isn't loaded from
    an unknown domain.
    I did get one step closer. If a crossdomain.xml in the server
    root exists and the socketpolicy file is loaded from the app folder
    then the first two warnings disappear. The logs now show:

    UPDATE: When serving up the policy file on port 843 using the
    example perl script then the socket connection seems to be accepted
    and the connect succeeds. After that flex hangs trying to logon to
    the IMAP server.

  • How to upgrade to aperture 3.5 when the app store does not show the update. I did buy aperture 3 on DVD not thru the app store. what to do?

    I can not open aperture databases anymore as osx10.9 keeps telling me i have opened it with a newer version, which i have not but i understand from other discussions that thru the upgrade of iphoto osx automatically thinks that you have opened with aperture 3.5. the app store does not show me the update as i have not purchased the program thru the app store but on dvd. what to do?

    If you are running MacOS X 10.9 and Aperture is installed in your Applications folder and simply called Aperture, not Apertre 3 or something, the AppStore should be showing you the update.
    Have you already updated to Aperture 3.4.5 from the Support page  Aperture 3.4.5?
    Try to update manually to 3.4.5 and then reboot and sign again into the AppStore with your AppleID and look at the Update page.
    For some forum members it helped to set the main system language to English U.S. to make the update finally show.

    This piece of code works fine when 'If w_printall ne 'X'.' condition is succesfull and I can see the PDF but when w_printall = 'X' I get the above error on a popup box, the error is "File does not begin with '%PDF-'" and I cant see the PDF.
    Does anyone have any suggestions!

    Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

  • I cannot tell you how frustrated I am with Apple right now! I need hel getting my ipad back and so far I am not getting any. What do I do when restore on itunes does not work?

    I am so frustrated with Apple and my ipad2, which I have allways loved so much. While attempting to download and install the latest update, I got stuck on the itunes connect logo. I followed the directions listed here to restore using itunes on my laptop. It would not work and gave me several error messages. Now what do I do? I miss my little computer so much.

    Reading some older threads from 2012 and 2011 it appears the problem was present even then.  Part of the problem was due to people using multiple or different account id's on the various devices.  In my case, I only have one ID and it is the same on all devices yet the iPhone and iPad are still throwing the same error when I try turning on iTunes Match.  This is very frustrating . . . any help out there?  Thanks.

    It could be Mountain Lion.  Developers have had access to Mountain Lion beta builds for many months, so it seems like they would have worked out the bugs before release, especially a major bug that causes the app to crash. Make sure you are installing the latest version downloaded from the developer's web site, not a version that came with your Kobo device.
    Sometimes, an app's preference file gets corrupted and the app crashes when it tries to read its preference file at launch.  So you can try deleting its preference file, so that the app can create a new one. 
    In Finder, from the menu bar, select Go -> Go to Folder.  Type
    /Users/<your user home folder name>/Library
    replacing <your user home folder name>.
    This will take you do your user account Library folder.  Go into the Preferences folder, and find the preference file for the Kobo app.  Its name will probabaly start with "kobo" or "com.kobo" or otherwise have "kobo" as part of the name, and end in ".plist".  Drag this file to the Desktop (so that it's no longer in the Preferences folder); don't trash it because if this is not the problem, you can put it back later. 
    Then, try running the Kobo app again.
