What formula to add up the values in one column only if a box is checked in the next column?

Hi guys,
I am creating a spreadsheet for my wedding guestlist.
In one column I have a number to tell me the total number of adult guests the party (e.g fried and girlfriend = 2) and then the next two colums are check boxes, one for daytime and the next for nighttime.
What I would like to do is in a footer row under the daytime time checkbox column is to total the first colum (the total number of wedding guests in each party).
I hope that I am explaining this ok, sorry if it is vague.
I understand to use COUNTIF to total the number of checked boxes in the column and have been working on COUNTIF + the sum of the previous column but it's not really working.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Here's an example of what you might do:
The expression in the footer of column B is:
=SUMIF(B, TRUE, $A)
and, the expression in the footer of column C is:
=SUMIF(C, TRUE, $A)

How to get the value in one JSP page to another?

I have problems in passing the value around in JSP. I have two JSP pages as below:
test1.jsp
I try to get the vaule from my textbox by using:
String strUser = request.getParameter ("strUserName");
Then i print out by using: out.print(strUser); then i can get the value and put on my page (For example, i get ABC on my page).
test2.jsp
Next, i want to get the value from strUser (which mean that the one i already display on page in test1.jsp, ABC) to insert into my table by using INSERT INTO statement. Then i try by using
String strUser1 = request.getParameter ("strUser");
Is it possbile for me to do that? I cannot get anything to insert into my table. Then i tried out.print(strUser1); then i found that i get NULL value.
Could you please give me some guidance?

When i click on the BID button in the logged_page.jsp then i always get the last record and save into my table and that is not what i want to. i want to get the result on the same row as the BID button that just click and save to my table.

I want to use this query in a cursor to update a column in another table, the problem is that I need to update the table concatenating the values ZA,ZB,ZC

Just think of dynpros as windows into the global memory of your program... so if you want the value of a field on dynpro 1234 to appear on dynpro 2345, then just pop the value into a global variable (i.e. one defined in your top include), and you will be able to see it in your second dynpro (assuming you make the field formats etc the same on both screens!).

It would probably be about 50 lines of code. Or you could write a loop in 3 lines of code. I'll let you decide which approach you want to take.

Export your internal tables or work areas to a memory id in ur program before u use submit.
Then in second pgm you have to import from memory id given above.
example.
EXPORT gs_header FROM gs_header to memory id 'HEADER'.
EXPORT gt_item FROM gt_item to memory id 'ITEM'.
SUBMIT YFIIN_DISHC_MAILREPORT EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY AND RETURN.
In your second pgm you can write
import gs_header TO gs_header from MEMORY id 'HEADER'.
import gt_item TO gt_item from MEMORY id 'ITEM'.

We have enabled context sensitive DFF in Bank Branch Page for HZ_PARTIES DFF , We have created Flex Map so that only bank branch context fields are only displayed in the bank branch page and as we know party information DFF is shared by supplier and Customer Page so we dint want to see any Bank Branch fields or context information in those pages.
We have achieved the requirement but when open existing branches bank branch update is throwing below error message :

this error is thrown only when we open existing branches, if we save existing branch and open then it is not throwing any error message.
Please let us know reason behind this error message.

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the iPod and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound. Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and its the icon; press home again to exit the taskbar. When click the email icon on my iphone, it opens on one email only. I can not go to the next or previous email, a different email or anything. It only gives me the option to move that email! How can I stop this. Its been working perfectly well before!

Now as you may know there is some icons at the bottom of the mail app, at the top left conner you should have the inbox button and on the upper right conner you should have two arrows to shift between emails. If any of those options works try :
Settings>General>Reset>Reset all Settings
If that does not work try to re add the account
Last but not least, restore as new.

This may be related to a new feature embedded in iOS7 that shows all purchased music by default. Go to Settings > Music, then turn off Show All Music. See if the issue ceases once the feature has been disabled. This information is located on page 63 of the user guide below.
