What is AdbeRdr60_enu_full_exe in other languages?

Hi
can someone help me out? I've an urgent translation to make, it's about Adobe Reader 6.0 and installing that version. In the steps to follow the following text appears: Double click AdbeRdr60_enu_full.exe . I would like to know how I should `translate' "enu" into French/German/Spanish/Dutch/Italian/Swedish/Greek/Danish/Portuguese/Hungarian/Polish/Czec h.
Thanks!
Stephan

Hi
Thanks, that helps a lot!
One (last question):
When I go to the Polish language and there I see several exe files but not the "full.exe" of version 6.0 (I do see a full .exe file of 602), does it mean that the full exe version of 6.0 does not exist in Polish and therefore uses the English exe version?
I hope Ive made myself clear!
Stephan

  • I need to type in or copy/paste words from other languages (cyrillic for example) but when I do it the only thing I get is a "????????" instead of the word I want to type or insert. What should I do?

That happens when I don't know how to write so I copy/paste words from other languages, it also happens when I copy words in other languages written in a Word document, and then paste it on a website using Mozilla. This doesn't happen when I use Internet Explorer.

Well you second post was the correct question because I was going to say you got a second hand macbook pro, didn't change anything, and expected mail to work with your ISP.  The mail settings were thus those of the previous owner.  So you are correct to ask what your ISP's settings should be.
Unfortunately I can't answer that.  You have to get that from your ISP.  They proably have a web page for it.
    You need to know:
    Incoming mail server (pop)
    Incoming mail server login name
    Incoming mail server password
    POP port
    Does is require SSL?
Authentication for using POP server (probably password)
    Outgoing mail server (SMTP)
Outgoing mail server login name (probably same as incoming)
Outgoing mail server password (probably same sas incoming)
    SMTP port
    Does is require SSL?

  • JSAPI - other languages than English; MIDlet - settings loading; JSAPI - al

    Hello!
I need to create application which uses speech recognition. At first I thought about using CMU Sphinx (PocketSphinx or, possibly, Sphinx4). Later I thought about JSAPI. (Sphinx somehow uses JSAPI but I don't know what is the difference between JSAPI and Sphinx).
I have read almost all (up to 6.7.9) of the following tutorial: http://java.sun.com/products/java-media/speech/forDevelopers/jsapi-guide.pdf. Unfortunately I couldn't've found one important thing, i.e. how to create acoustic model for other language than English?
Thanks in advance for your answers :-)!
PS There are some other things which I'd like to know:
    1) How to load some settings from file (I guess nowadays configuration files are created with the use of XML but I dunno)?
    2) How to maintain algorithm which is used by MIDlet which involves JSAPI? I mean there are some different things which my MIDlet needs to do. I guess it is good habit to divide different goals into separate parts of code (due to object-oriented programming).
In my case there are some different things:
         a) speech recognition of audio input, i.e. changing input audio stream into output text string
         b) analysis of that text string and according to this string choosing the proper transition in my algorithm
In general I have written my algorithm on sheet of paper and it takes about ten A4 sheets of paper. Because of it I thought there should be some way to write this algoritm maybe outside the code, in some kind of file which would contain this algorithm. Maybe there is other good way to implement this algorithm, not necesarilly in the code.
         c) sending of results through httpconnection with the use of POST method
         d) receiving in on TomCat on server
    3) Which method should I use to receive the recognized speech? I found these:
         a) FinalRuleResult, b) Result -> getBestToken, c) getSpokenText, d) ResultToken of RuleGrammar
    4) Can you give me any full examples of JSAPI usage? (Not just short parts of code like in this JSAPI guide)?
    Greetins :-)!

Praveen, Yes the infoobject is language dependent.  The problem did not happen in BWQ but came up in BWP.  so I am not sure at this time what is causing in production that didn't happen in BWQ.
    Thanks,
    Syed.

  • Text Messaging in Japanese (or other language with non-Roman script)

Is it possible to send/receive text messages written in non-Roman characters with Verizon?
More specifically, I'm using a Droid 2 with Verizon, and I'm trying to text a friend in Japanese.  She has an iPhone (AT&T), and is physically in the U.S. (so I'm not asking about international text messaging).  I've already installed apps on my Droid (e.g. OpenWNN, or Simeji) to input Japanese, which work fine in and of themselves, and the Droid of course displays Japanese text or other languages just fine on the Browser or in E-mails.
However, I'm having lots of trouble with Text Messaging.  When I send a message containing Japanese text (typed in perfectly fine with OpenWNN or whatever), she either never gets the message, or the text comes out unreadable (as ???????).  Messages with a mix of Roman and non-Roman characters typically show the Roman characters ok, but the non-Roman ones (i.e. Japanese) are garbled.  If she sends me a message containing any non-Roman characters, I generally don't get the message at all (i.e. not even garbled-- just no message at all).   This deficiency seems to be specific to Text Messaging, as far as I can tell.  I can send and receive e-mails containing Japanese just fine, read foreign language web pages, and type in Japanese into search boxes on those web pages and so on with the Droid.  However, sending an e-mail message to (myphone#)@vtext.com, predictably, results in any Japanese text being garbled, though Roman characters come through just fine.
Is this perhaps something specific to Verizon's network?  Or is text messaging in non-Roman scripts just inherently impossible?  My friend says she knows others who can successfully text in non-Roman scripts (e.g. Korean Hangul, Japanese Kana or Kanji), and claims some of these folks are Verizon customers too.  A search on droidforums.com yielded someone who supposedly could text in Korean within Verizon.  So, I'm hoping this is possible, and I'm just missing something. However, this is perhaps all secondhand information and rumor.
(Incidentally, I know for certain that messaging with non-Roman scripts is possible in general.  During my last vacation in Japan, I rented a phone there, and could send messages in English or Japanese scripts.  However, I believe the phones there actually have their own e-mail addresses, and so the service there is more like regular e-mail-- my understanding is that text messaging as we know it in the U.S. is a distinct technology, though I could well be wrong.)
So, to restate my question: is it possible to text message with non-Roman scripts with Verizon?  Has anyone out there done this successfully-- if so what did you do, or what app did you use?  Or is it in fact impossible? (e.g. Maybe text messaging here only uses 7 or 8 bits, instead of 14 or 16 needed to encode all the various Asian, European, and other scripts?)
    Thanks for any help available.

I'm trying to figure this out as well, but my understanding on the matter is that Verizon's CDMA network uses unicode which will display, roman characters, loa, thai, and serveral other languages, but not hirigana, kanji, katakana, or simplified or traditional chinese.  The Romaji should work however.  It would be nice to hear some input from a Verizon rep on the subject, because like you my info is all second hand.
If my understanding is correct, the simple answer is no, it's not possible.

  • MacAir - error message "This version of itunes has not been correctly localized for this language. Please run the english version" Saw other answers for windows users, I have a MacAir. never used any other language but English

Trying to open iTunes - get an error message saying "This version of itunes has not been correctly localized for this language. Please run the english version" Saw other answers for windows users, I have a MacAir. never used any other language but English so I have no clue what the problem is.  I just want to update my phone and back it up.

Let's try a repair install of iTunes.
    Restart the PC first.
If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair".
If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "iTunes", and click "Change". Select "Repair" and click "Next" as per the following screenshot:
Can you launch your iTunes now?

  • How to include the other Languages in SAP sybase brand mobiliser 5.0

    Hello,
I'm just trying to include the other languages(urdu) in brand mobiliser with common place holders as the properties file.By importing and exporting the brand flows. The text of the flow is getting corrupted..
How to get out of this problem?
    Thanks in advance

I created 2 containers (ZWCTESTURL1, ZWCTESTURL2) in my task and gave them initial values:
    ZWCTESTURL1 = mailto:test$lsi.com?subject=test
(replace "$" with "@", this posting will not let me enter email address)
    ZWCTESTURL2 = body=action:approve
I put the following line in my Task Description:
    <a href="&ZWCTESTURL1&&&ZWCTESTURL2&">test</a>
When I go into Business Workplace (SBWP) and open my workitem, I see a hyperlink named "test".  When clicked, it properly opened a new email in my lotus notes which put To, Subject, and Body text correctly.  However, when I open same workitem in Universal worklist (UWL), there is no hyperlink, just straight text.  It displays as:
    <H href="mailto:test$lsi.com?subject=test&body=action:approve">test</a>
    (replace "H" with "a")
As I suspected, I could not create hyperlinks in workitems that are in Universal Worklist.  I looked at the editor options in task description and have not any luck with what I tried to make that text a hyperlink in UWL.

  • Report displaying junk characters or Greek or some other language

    Hi All,
I have one Custom report in PDF. It is a simple tabular report. When I run this report from Report Builder, it runs fine but when I register it in Oracle Apps and run it from there, it displays all the characters in Greek or some other language or junk characters. Sometimes it works if I change font. But its a trial and error. I dont understand why is it happening. This has happened with one of my other reports too. It worked when I changed the font and its size. This time it didnt work. Any clue how can I fix this issue?
    Any lead will be appreciated.
    Thanks,

    Hi Hussein,
We have similiar issue with our custom PDF reports. We are in the process of upgrading from 11.5.9 to R12.
All these reports work fine in 11.5.9.
Following are the details of our R12 environment:
    1) What is the application release? Application release is 12.1.1
    2) What is application/database characterset? Database - 11.1.0.7.0 and characterset is UTF8.
    3) Is this a text or bitmap report? What is the report language? - It is a text report and Language is English
    4) Do you use PASTA for printing? - Yes we do
    5) Do you get the correct printout if you print the concurrent request output file from the OS? - If I run the report from report builder directly, Yes. If from Oracle Apps, no.
    6) Expected output: "Days in Queue"
Actual Output: when I copy and paste the output here it is showing correct. But on the report it is showing
    something like ∆Ωµ.....
    7) If I try changing the font, it works
    8) A different text field on the same report with the same font shows good.
I would appreciate your help on this one.
    Thanks

  • What happened to the foreign languages?

I have my game app "5 Gutsy Fingers" (with one of the keywords - "knife") up on iTune Store that is suitable for Japanese and other languages. In English I typed "Knife" in the search textfield and it showed my game app, but when I changed the language perferences into Japanese (by going to the perference selection) and I typed "ナイフ" ("Knife" in Japanses) and Im not showing my game app there? I wondered why it is not showing up?
Also, after I changed language in Japanese (and other languages), the description and the screenshots of my game app are still in English? I have the description and the screenshots in Japanese (and other languages) on my iTunes Connect account.
I dont understand what I did wrong.
    Thanks

    Anyone know?

  • Finally support of other languages in forthcoming Leopard?

Does anyone know if Leopard will finally support other languages than English as well? I want to buy my parents a Mac and VoiceOver would be perfect for them if only Mac OS X would support German.
Leopard is said to have a new voice technology, but I could not find out if this is restricted to English again.
Why is an important feature like this not localized? Does anyone know the background?

    Hello Thomas,
I've had a lot of success with Macs running Tiger in French, with added voices from Infovox iVox. The easiest way to get these is to buy VisioVoice from Assistive Ware — the language packs are bundled and include American English, British English, American Spanish, Canadian French, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Flemish, Spanish, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish and Swedish.
There might be odd problems with non-localised voice tags, but you can usually kludge these using the VoiceOver pronunciation dictionary—with care!
Other voices are available from Cepstral. Listen to samples from both sites, and see what you prefer. I'm aware that buying extra voices is an additional cost, but compared to the cost of Windows screen readers, this is trifling.
As for Leopard, it certainly promises full localisation not only of the OS but also of VoiceOver. I don't know what other languages may be delivered with machines or local distributions of Leopard for installation on existing kit, but third-party voices shouild work just fine.
Don't hesitate! Go for it! You won't be sorry!

  • Calendar in other languages

Is it possible to have a build-in calendar display months in other languages?
    Thanks,
    Art
    P.S.
I've got the show name option checked in but my name doesn't appear anyway

    Hello Art,
    >> Is it possible to have a build-in calendar display months in other languages?
The built-in calendar language is derived from the “Application Language Derived From” field, in the globalization section (Shared Components > Definition > Globalization). If you are working in a multi lingual environment, you can set this field to “Browser (use browser language preference)” and the calendar language will match the browser language.
    >> I've got the show name option checked in but my name doesn't appear anyway
I don’t understand what you mean by that. Can you, please, be more descriptive?
    Regards,
    Arie.

Since it does not even work in English, I would not worry about the lack of other languages. It probably was a very, very bad effort from a former Dragon employee to get it included in CS4. I just hope they leave it out in CS5, because it only bloats the software without any benefit at all.
Its far from perfect, and I have no use for it myself.  BUt there are are users who like this feature and even in its imperfect state saves them time in their workflow.  Imagine doing a docu with 90 minutes of talking heads and three camera angles.  Searching for a word or phrase by scrubbing would take a long time.  Searching by text is almost instantaneous.  The transcription isnt perfect but it often is close enough to be helpful in this workflow.
Useless for many perhaps; but useful for some.

  • IE7 settings in other languages than english

    Hi all,
I have a question concerning the IE7 settings for CRM (PCUI, WebUI):
From the SAP support we received the recommended settings in english. We have several users in different countries and their Internet Explorers are in in french or hungaria or whatever.
Now the questions is: are there documents with the IE7 settings in other languages than english? Or do the users have to compare the english settings with their version of the IE?
What is your experience with this?
    Thanks for your help!
    Greetings
    Anne

By typing in a language other than English. You can change the keyboard to more suitable forms for many languages.
    "Add international keyboards:
1 Choose General > Keyboard > International Keyboards.
The number of active keyboards appears before the right arrow.
2 Tap “Add New Keyboard…,” then choose a keyboard.
You can add as many keyboards as you want. To learn about using international keyboards, see Appendix A, “International Keyboards,” on page 248.
Edit your keyboard list: Choose General > Keyboard > International Keyboards,"

  • Man pages in other languages

    Hi,
Is it possible to install man pages in other languages (i.e. Spanish)? Bash shell seems to be working in Spanish but not man pages. I have checked and it only comes with some languages (Russian, German, etc.) Could it be possible to install them from any source?
    Thanks in advance

Open Dictionary.app in the Applications folder and go to its Preferences.  There you will see what Apple provides and you can check the boxes to activate it.  If you want something more, you will have to find it on the internet and install it.
