What is really possible to achieve in mucow?

Is it possible to build someting like contact form (similar to that included in muse) where graphics can be changed with in muse?
Coold you give us examples (more complicated) than we can find in muse exchange ?

Since the user can't sub select anything inside a mucow widget, styling of pieces isn't fabulous. It's possible to provide some canned styling options as part of your mucow widget options though.

The 'simple line' and '5x5 table' widgets provide examples of picking up Muse stroke/fill colors, and also providing options to style parts of the widget with the widget option UI.
Also, you can use the 'inherit' css value to pick up some styling that users apply to your placed widget. For example on the 5x5 table widget, you can apply a font & font size in Muse, and that will be picked up by the text in the table.

Using a fake semi-transparency - what's really possible?

I'm just now moving into DW CS4 (from cs3) and I'm on an intel iMac. I'm trying to make a table background that is semi-transparent while KEEPING text and photos 100% opaque. I'm already familiar with this kind of code: (just improvising here):

But this makes EVERYTHING semi-transparent - content and all. I'd love to know if it is possible to keep the content fully in view.
I've tried making a semi-transparent GIF or PNG background in Photoshop CS4 and using it for the table background, but that doesn't seem to work.
I did discover this (perhaps unique to my site) solution for a fake semi-transparency: Since I've got a gradient background on my site (see www.frankbright.com/History.htm ), I took a 'Screen Snapshot' of the background, from the bottom of the navigation to as far down as I could go. Then I used PS CS4 to expand the canvas and color down to cover my long pages. (See Jazz Links)
Then I used PS levels to darken the snapshot very slightly, so as to intimate a gray semi-transparent effect. Then I simply used that snapshot as the table background.
This looks better on the long, clearer pages that have only text content. With the index3 home page, however, you don't sense the semi-transparent effect I'm going for as much.
I've also noticed the 'Extensions' area of the CSS interface in DW - does this have anything to do with what I'm trying to do?
Anyways, I'm open to ideas, if anyone could suggest any.

As for the colors of the background gradient using IEFilters, (for those who did not know on the forum, the IEFilter for background gradient was available since IE4.5, circa 1996, and all filters since IE5, circa 1998) you will need to adjust these as required. Luckily enough most background gradients go from one color to white or a lighter color of the starting color.

Google Chrome uses the webkit declaration, but unfortunately Opera does not support the feature, (use a standard background color at the beginning of the declaration) and FF only from version 3.6. But with the upgrading for FF users normally being 70+% within 6 months, this does mean that 85% of users will support the background gradient.

Edit: If you are using a css reset then it may be worth placing the position: relative; statement in this, as these normally include all the elements from H1 to pre.

Although not recommended, yes.
Disable automatic syncing when the iPhone is connected with iTunes on each computer.
The only item you will have selected for syncing with iTunes on your computer at work will be Calendars, which is selected under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes. Nothing else will be selected under the various tabs for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes on your computer at work. You will get a warning message that your iPhone is associated with another iTunes library on a different computer which you can ignore when syncing calendars/calendar events only with iTunes on your computer at work.

Adobe Muse CC, Is it possible to achieve this effect?

Hi everyone, it's me again. Now I was browsing through the internet when I come across these two websites:
Supernova – WordPress Theme (This is a website theme/template)

So, in the first one, the Wordpress theme, as you can see there is this "Fade-In" text effect, now I managed to achieve the same effect via "Composition Widget" following the instructions in this video:

Now, I managed to "synchronize" the time settings, so that my slideshow pictures fade and when there is a new picture the text fades in, the problem is, it happens just once, what I did basically was:
I set the auto-fading effect using the: "Hide Initially" feature in the "Composition" Widget (like in the video tutorial) and for the first picture/text I set the time, so that when the page loads it automatically fades in, and that works very fine, my point is, that you can't see the effect again unless you reload the page. In the Supernova theme you can clearly see that the texts fade in as the page loads and as the slide changes, so each time it changes slide there's a new text fading in, and if you go back to the previous slide without reloading the page, it still shows it, as if the auto-fading text was somehow "linked" the the picture itself, so that when that particular picture is shown, the effect of the fade-in text comes up, each time that particular picture is shown.
I made some research and I found out that there's a program called WordPress and that the "Supernova Theme" is actually a "template" for that program (I might be mistaken though). Now, my question here is, is it possible to achieve the same effect with Muse? Like: "when this image appears then the following fade-in text does"
And, as for the second link, as you will see, there a very cool scrolling effect that makes the rectangle sort of: "turns around" (it's better if you just see what I'm talking about int he second link)
Is it possible to do the same with Muse?

I haven't seen a specific example of this yet, but I know it's possible to do in Edge Animate. I think shotdang's example is the same concept, but doesn't take it as far.

I want to achieve 10 MHz output transfer rate on 6534 device. I need to contunuously generate non-repeating data. But when I execute the CVI sample program DOdoubleBufPatternGen653x, I cannot exceed the 1 MHz transfer rate (iPgTB = -3, iReqInt = 20), I get a -10843 error. Parameter oldDataStop is set to 1. Each halfbuffer contains 100000 points, buffer - 200000. My system is Pentium IV 2GHz, 512 MB RAM. What should I change to achieve 10 MHz transfer rate? Is it possible in this mode?

It should be possible, but it may take some extra thought and effort on your part due to the limitations and/or use case of your system. I would first recommend that you see the NI Tutorial "Maximizing the Performance of the NI 6534 Digital I/O Device" available online at . Based upon the error you are getting, it sound like you are not getting sufficient PCI bus bandwidth. Are you perhaps reading this data from disk (that would roughly double the PCI bus bandwidth required, or halve the transfer rate that you can expect to achieve) or using other PCI devices that are contending for bandwidth (potentially video cards, sound cards, network cards, dr
ive controllers...)? Some of these PCI devices need substantial bandwidth, others will grab the bus periodically for small transfers (sound cards, seemingly unused network cards forwarding broadcast packets...), and these could potentially interfere with your ability to stream data continuously at high rates. You might try disabling unused devices in your device manager. If you continue to have difficulties, please forward us more details about your system, what it is doing, and how your program works (are you streaming data from disk, network, or are you generating it on the fly).

Wondering what are different possible ways in which I can trigger a process in Aqualogic BPM.
I have worked on WLI & there with the use of channels & event generators I could able to trigger my process for almost any event, be it file system update, Http Request or Database update.
Can I trigger a process in Aqualogic BPM on arrival of a new file in file system (directory)?
Any pointer towards documentation would also help.

There are a lot of ways to trigger the process. You can execute any code based on a timming event, or external events such as JMS queues. Polling directories/webservers etc. is really easy.
I'd suggest you take a look at the Studio documentation and read about Global Automatic activities.

M right in the Apple store in Shanghai writing this post. And still feeling bad about what I have experenced today.
Last June, I have got a completely new 4S to replace my old 4, which had encounted many annoying issues when I was using it. And this 4S was a completely new one, I mean, not those officially retrofit ones for ordinary replacement when reparing. Howevewhen the locking button doesn't work well and I came for warranty today. The genius told me that the SN on main board and the sim card support doesn't match and refused to repair it.
Brilliant! This is the FIRST time that I am going to get my new 4S repaired and, BANG! it just became some sucky 4S that I have tried to repair it by myself or some un-official channel? And I think I have never done these things before. Well at least when I am still myself.
Now the genius is trying to confirm this device after I provided my recipt for last repair.
Is Apple became more unefficient and pretty badly servered recently? and BTW can anyone tell me what is the possibility that a so-called new device from Apple has same problem.

Actually what ****** me off was the attitude from the genius here. I have my iPhone 4 repaired 3 times and 2 of which is replacing the main board. And finally they provided me a new 4S and I appreciate that. However, this time according to their words, seems it was ME who cos all these ****. And finally they agreed to check and confirm the issue for me after I argued with them. I don't think everyone is ok for that.
Yep the world is not perfect. I am, even not so much any more, an apple fan. But this time my patience had been gone really.

I´d like to run ANALYZE(or DMBS_STATS) only on objects that really need it.
What informations should I use and where can I find these informations to achieve this objective?

For 9i database, enable table monitoring and index monitoring.
Table monitoring will tell you what tables really experience DML inserts/updates/deletes and truncates if any.
This will narrow down the list of tables that you need to analyze every day/week.
Once you have turned on table monitoring, you can use dba_tab_modifications or user_tab_modifications view to dynamically build the list of tables that need stats update. This way you do not have to manually pick and choose which objects to analyze.
In oracle 10g table monitoring syntax is deprecated but is by default on and AWR keeps the track of DML and decides which objects need stats update.
Index monitoring would tell you if you have large indexes that optimizer does not use and that way you can decide to drop/modify these indexes reducing your stats time further. (results of index monitoring are in v$object_usage)
Alternatively you can also use gather_stale option of dbms_stats. (Oracle does not recommend using Analyze any more, dbms_stats is the prefered method).

A possible reported cause is using "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear the browsing history, so if you use this then try to exclude the history.
In a few days (Tuesday) Firefox 30 will be released that has a fix for some of the causes, so can have a lot at that new version.

Built-in iSight cameras
These steps are for iSight cameras that are built into a computer, such as the iMac G5 (iSight) or later, the MacBook, or MacBook Pro.

Try another application (iSight works with applications like iChat, PhotoBooth, and iMovie HD 6) to see if the iSight camera exhibits the same behavior in all applications. If it only happens in one application, try reinstalling that application.
See if the issue is user-specific.
Test your iSight camera in another user account. If the issue only occurs in one user, the issue would be isolated to user settings.
Find out if the computer recognizes the iSight
