What is the correct action regarding misleading/fake reviews?

Last year I paid $5 for the app "MyBoxing Pro Trainer By GAMMEK" based on the rating and number of reviews. However, after using the app , i realized it was a ripoff. When I went through the reviews, I realized almost all the reviews (more than 100)
Between Dec 3, 2010 and Dec 9, 2010, this app received more than 180 4- or 5-star reviews. Any review after that is all 1-star.
Can someone guide me in the right direction to get my money back?

You can look at appshopper or the website for the app/developer. The reviews can be left by anyone and can be written however the poster chooses. It would certainly be tough to make a good decision if the reviews are inaccurate. It seems based on your first post that the review are terrible " Any review after that is all 1-star.", so that should help others avoid the app.
I think reviews and ratings on iTunes are the main, and probably the only, reference most average people will use to make decision about purchasing an app. When iTunes itself has developer's description, several screenshots, ratings, and comments sections, why should I bother checking appShopper or other third parties? Also, if I was buying a $900 TV, yes I would research it. But not for an app! I have not seen that many people who do that.
In addition, the developer GAMMEK's website only talks about glorious functionalities of the app and how it can help any boxer.
One last point, iTunes' comments are prioritized based on helpfulness--whatever that means in this case. One has to change the order to see the few negative reviews that handful of people have written. You really say that people go through all this trouble on day to day basis just to purchase an app?
You may ask why I am bothering with such a long reply if it is "just to purchase an app." Well, I have already gone far and beyond what I initially intended for. But there is a legit point to what I am trying to say. What these people are doing is wrong and it hurts feeling ripped off!

We are a 3rd party application, that needs to collect and analyze the IPS events for a client.
Currently the approach we are following is
1) get a SubscriptionId using the URL below

This gets us a subscriptionId which is used in step 2
2) Collect events from the url below
https://IP_Of_IPS/cgi-bin/sdee-server?confirm=yes&action=get&subscriptionId=sub-sample&startTime=1362699903575432000
a few more notes here are
- starttime is current time in nanoseconds
the peculiar problem here is that, even though we specify todays date, SDEE returns us the events from mid Feb (today is march 7)
we did try a few combinations, but are out of ideas.

Hey Rafael! You only have to use the Grid Control CDS, AS, repository database and grid control software are installed automatically, so you dont have to worry about the order u should have to follow.
Anyways if u have already installed a database u can use that one as a repository.
about the enviorment variables i guess u´ll be prompted for just one only directory cause u only need to install the software only one time.

What is the correct process to cancel a partially received dropship line?

I'm on 12.0.6. My situation is similar to where a customer ordered 100 pieces of ItemA. An order line sourced externally was created and the PO for the 100 pieces of ItemA was created and approved. 80 pieces were received, which split the line into a line of 80 that was closed and invoiced and a line of 20. The customer now wants to cancel the remaining 20 pieces. The supplier has not shipped those 20 pieces yet, so they have not been received in the system. I have disabled the constraint that prevents cancelling for an Approved PO. That got rid of the "You are not allowed to cancel...." error message, but now I'm getting a message "The specified control action (Action = CANCEL) is invalid for this document." I think this message is coming from the purchasing side. So what is the correct process...should I attempt to cancel the PO line first, then cancel the SO line, or vice versa?

Please make sure you change RemoteServer with the computer name of the intended SQL Server server.
Make sure the SQL Server instance have enable TCP/IP and Named Pipes protocols. Use the following article to enable them:

I am an occasional DB user and at the moment need to update about 1000+ records so that a certain column gets a unique value.
So I thought that I would use a variable for this.
I then built this kind of SQL statement for just a small subset of the records:

I get the invalid SQL statement error when attempting to execute above (besides the prompt that asks for a value which I would like to omit).
Anyway I also tried this one:

UPDATE TABLE_TO_BE_UPD
SET COL_TO_BE_UPD = COL_TO_BE_UPD + seqCounter.NEXTVAL

From this one I got the error ORA-01722: invalid number...I am guessing this comes because seqCounter is of type number and the COL_TO_BE_UPD is of type character...(?)
So what I would like to ask is what is the correct way to define and use a counter type of variable to append a number at the end of a character string?
Also another question that I would like to ask is that are variables that are used in ad hoc queries also called 'bind variables'?

I populated some records in the database with properties "Work" and "Ed', but they show default blue.
As I understand it, I need to do something with the getTags() method of the underlying CalendarActivity class, but I'm not quite sure how to do that.
Took a stab at creating a class, CalendarActivityBean, that extended CalendarActivity, and pointed all the CalendarActivity references I had to the new class, but it didn't seem to fire (in debug), and I got into trouble, when inserting records, with

Now, go into the Bindings tab on the calendar page, double click the calendar binding, and specify the column you've defined as the calendar's Provider in the Tags dropdown.

The whole format thing has been introduced in 1.5. The tutorial also states it's been "updated to 1.5.".
That's all I've got to say for I don't know how you can format a PrintWriter, let alone a PrintStream, prior to 1.5. I'm not really sure there is any way. Any "legacy way", that is. There almost certainly are third-party API which achieve similar results.
