What is the correct answer is this question is sql ?

hi .. please i need correct answer in this question ..
View the Exhibit and examine the structure of the PRODUCTS table.
Using the PRODUCTS table, you issue the following query to generate the names, current list price, and
discounted list price for all those products whose list price falls below $10 after a discount of 25% is applied
on it.
SQL>SELECT prod_name, prod_list_price,
prod_list_price - (prod_list_price * .25) "DISCOUNTED_PRICE"
FROM products
WHERE discounted_price < 10;
The query generates an error.
What is the reason for the error?
A-The parenthesis should be added to enclose the entire expression.
B-The double quotation marks should be removed from the column alias.
C-The column alias should be replaced with the expression in the WHERE clause.
D-The column alias should be put in uppercase and enclosed with in double quotation marks in the WHERE clause.

Hi,
Have you taken the time to determine what happens when you perform the requested actions?
If you have access to Oracle Database it should be less than a 10 minute exercise.
At a minimum, using hosted Oracle Application Express you have access to Oracle Database.
If you've done it, what were the results? There should be a telling error message.
Regards,
Mark

    What is the correct wording to connect to an SQL Server Express 2014 database?

    Hello,
    Please make sure you change RemoteServer with the computer name of the intended SQL Server server.
    Make sure the SQL Server instance have enable TCP/IP and Named Pipes protocols. Use the following article to enable them:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms191294.aspx
    Start SQL Server Browser Service using SQL Server Configuration Manager.
    Hope this helps.

  • What's the correct syntax for this?

    Hey guys
    If...
    trace(rowsHolder.getChildByName("mc"+newStr).y);
    ...correctly outputs the y coordinate of (in this case) mc001, how do I output the y coordinate of a movieClip called item_base_mc that's within the timeline of mc001?
    trace(rowsHolder.getChildByName("mc"+newStr).item_base_mc.y);
    ...gives me a display object error.
    I've tried permutations of the above with [] brackets in various places, but haven't cracked the code.
    What would be the correct way to write it?
    Thanks for taking a look.
    Shaun

    I don't know how to really explain this, but from documentation you will notice  -   getChildByName()  -  is actually a function from  -  DisplayObject  - not MovieClip.
    Link here provides a better explanation!

  • What is the Correct Component For This?

    I'm lost as to what component to use for navigation within my application. Across the top of my app I want something which horizontally displays a list of categories which the user can click to select. This is fine if I use a tilelist but I also want to allow my client to add and remove categories and for the width of the component to adjust so that new categories fit in but it seems impossible to apply <fit to content> to a tilelist the way you can to a hbox which obviously means scrollbars will appear and if you switch the scroll policy off this simply means any added categories won't be visible if they are past the set width. It seems that anything with the selecteditem property (which is what I need for my app) operates on set width's.
    If a hbox had a selecteditem property that would be perfect. Is there any such way of getting a component to work like this?

    That sounds great and I am starting to see a lot of flex 4 solutions to problems theses days although 3.5 still seems to be the norm. One thing I'm confused about is this - I'm still a web dev student until june. When I started my course I uploaded a scanned image of my uni id card and got a flex 3.5 serial key and was able to use it and install it for free. I assume that I will do the same to get this new version but 1. Will this invalidate my previous key and disallow me to use the version I have installed now (maybe I'm being paranoid) and 2. Will I be able to use the one I've installed currently or, if I get the new version, use that forever and install them as many times as I like even AFTER my current degree is finished? Basically I'm unsure as to how it works.
    One thing I've been worrying about is what if my course finishes and I get a job which involves me working from home on websites and all of a sudden flex deactivates from my machine because I've finished my course but again maybe I'm just being paranoid and once you have a key you can use it for good. I have to say that is crazy generous of adobe if that's the case and if so I might aswell get a key for the new version before I'm out of education.
    What do you think?

  • I am betting that Shane has the best answer for this question.

    I am a long time user of Final Cut. Recently I worked on my first project using AVID and was very mystified. They said they capture at 15/1 ratio and it seems to be about 31 mbps. So if they were capturing at a 1/1 ratio, that just seems like a very large file for just one minute of footage. Am I crazy or doesn't Final Cut give you a better quality video for far less storage space?

    They said they capture at 15/1 ratio and it seems to be about 31 mbps.
    Yes, that is an "offline" resolution. Like Offline RT is in FCP, or ProRes Proxy. Good only to see what you are cutting. You recapture at full resolution later. This is the very typical and standard Avid workflow that has worked well for decades.
    So if they were capturing at a 1/1 ratio, that just seems like a very large file for just one minute of footage.
    Yes....1:1 is comparable to Uncompressed 10 bit in FCP, which also produces very large media files. Avid also has a DV codec, for capturing DV material, and that is comparable to FCPs DV codec. Lossless, yet small, because they are native DV codecs.
    Am I crazy or doesn't Final Cut give you a better quality video for far less storage space?
    You are crazy. As JIm said, there are many different flavors of codecs. Avid's 1:1 is comparable to FCP's Uncompressed 10-bit. Avid DV is FCP DV. Avid's DNxHD, the preferred codec of choice now, was revolutionary as it gave 1:1 quality at much smaller file sizes. FCP follows suit with ProRes...full uncompressed quality, smaller file size.

  • Input Text will not allow me to access the correct answer!

    Hi All
    i am trying to create a simple quiz in school. I have one test question which requires the answer to be -1.
    I have created Input text and assigned the variable answer for this question.
    I have a button with the following AS2 script:
    on (press, keyPress "<Enter>") {
        if(answer eq "-1" or answer eq "minus 1"
           or answer eq "Minus 1" or answer eq "Minus one" or answer eq "minus one")
        {_root.gotoAndStop(2)
        } else
        {_root.gotoAndStop(3)
    Firstly whatever you type the numerical keys are immobilised on the keyboard when the .SWF file is built
    Secondly I cannot enter the correct answer!! If I type in Minus 1 etc it goes to frame 3.
    I have tried flags rather than frame numbers - same problem.
    i have tried remaking the quiz as a  separate file.
    using CS4 and CS5 flash - windows 7 PC.
    Please help!!

Thanks for the reply. I had instances for all elements but had code on teh but (Instance Enter). I have tried your code with my instance names. The button is Q1 (I was going to add more if it worked). The vaiable name for the Insert text box is ans1 so I used the code below. I added the code to frame 1 in teh timeline. I think this is what you meant so a frame script as opposed to a buton script. i have always scriped buttons (very simple). I have played around with the trace(); function but i am not sure where to run it from. I have added it to the script below. I tried Q1 which is the button and ans1 (variable). It must be wrong as I cannot see any output. Last thing. Is it not right ot use eq and or?? I am using Actionscript 2.
The disabled keys is the same running the code on my mac and pc!
Q1.onRelease = function() {

  • What Are The Correct Gray OS X Discs For This Imac?

    I got a free 700Mhz G4, 15" Screen, 512mb Ram, 40GB HDD and I was wondering what are the correct OS X discs (Gray) that came with this Mac?
    There has to be a serial or model number right? I have Leopard installed on it and I missing having the DVD player so could I connect the iMac to my PowerMac G5 using Target Disc Mode, and then install Panther or Tiger onto the iMac through it?

    The correct Mac OS restore discs are Mac OS X 10.1.2 and Mac OS 9.2.2. I have restore discs for a 600MHz Late 2001 iMac G3, which has the same identical software as the iMac G4. That part number for the disc set is 603-0372.
    For the second part of your question, you can install Panther or Tiger through Target Disc Mode from your PM G5.

  • What is the best approach for a short answer quiz that has a number range as the correct answer?

    Client does not want to use multiple choice questions, so I am trying to figure out the best way to put in a range of numbers for the correct answer.

    I'm doing my best to figure this out, but not finding success in my advanced action. Below is the quiz question and how I setup the advanced action.
    Question: Determine the total heat load for test house 1.
    Answer: 32,120
    Acceptable Answer Range: 30,514 - 33,726
    Created TEB - Validate User Input; Numbers; Variable Name: Value1; Correct Entries box blank; Reporting: Include in Quiz; Points 10; add to total; report answers
         On Focus Lost: Execute Advanced Actions
              Conditional Action
                   If
                        Value1 is greater or equal to 30514 AND
                        Value 1 is lesser or equal to 33726
                   Then
                        Show SmartShape_1 (Correct feedback prompt)
                        Expression Value1=cpQuizInfoTotalQuizPoints+10  (I have also tried cpQuizInfoTotalProjectPoints and got same results)
                   Else
                        Show SmartShape_2 (Incorrect feedback prompt)
    I have quiz reporting turned on and I am testing this by including a second slide that is a standard multiple choice question so I can check results on the Quiz Results page at the end of the project showing the total score. I have not been successful yet in getting the system to add the points in appropriately. Is there another system variable I should be using to add the points to the quiz for reporting to the LMS or am i going about this completely wrong?

    hello
    when i type in the correct answer for my security question it always comes up as incorrect I have the answer written down but there not working can someone help

    Hi, Corinneact.
    Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
    The usual cause for errors is that the security question responses are case sensitive.  If case sensitivity is not an issue with your answers, see the last step in the attached section of the article below.
    Navigate to My Apple ID using your web browser.
    Click "Manage your account"
    When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
    Click Password & Security
    You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
    Note: The option to send an email to reset your security questions and answers will not be available if a rescue email address is not provided. You will need to contact iTunes Store support in order to do so.

  • What is the correct syntax for using a variable in an ad hoc query?

    Hi all
    I am an occasional DB user and at the moment need to update about 1000+ records so that a certain column gets a unique value.
    So I thought that I would use a variable for this.
    I then built this kind of SQL statement for just a small subset of the records:
    variable recNumber number;
    exec :recNumber := 1;
    UPDATE TABLE_TO_BE_UPD
    SET COL_TO_BE_UPD = COL_TO_BE_UPD + recNumber
    WHERE COL_TO_BE_UPD IN ('VAL_A','VAL_B');
    I get the invalid SQL statement error when attempting to execute above (besides the prompt that asks for a value which I would like to omit).
    Anyway I also tried this one:
    CREATE SEQUENCE seqCounter;
    UPDATE TABLE_TO_BE_UPD
    SET COL_TO_BE_UPD = COL_TO_BE_UPD + seqCounter.NEXTVAL
    WHERE COL_TO_BE_UPD IN ('VAL_A','VAL_B');
    From this one I got the error ORA-01722: invalid number...I am guessing this comes because seqCounter is of type number and the COL_TO_BE_UPD is of type character...(?)
    So what I would like to ask is what is the correct way to define and use a counter type of variable to append a number at the end of a character string?
    Also another question that I would like to ask is that are variables that are used in ad hoc queries also called 'bind variables'?
    Thanks muchly

    If you want to append a unique number to a column then this would do it:
    UPDATE TABLE_TO_BE_UPD
    SET COL_TO_BE_UPD = COL_TO_BE_UPD ||to_char(rownum)
    WHERE COL_TO_BE_UPD IN ('VAL_A','VAL_B');

  • Setting XML based exam to where there are two correct answers in a question

    I have an exam which pulls in questions from an XML file and to indicate what the correct answer is you would indicate in the XML as such:
    PROBLEM id="1">
                    <QUESTION>What is the State Capital of California:</QUESTION>
                    <CHOICE letter="a">San Fransisco.</CHOICE>
                    <CHOICE letter="b">San Diego.</CHOICE>
                    <CHOICE letter="c">Los Angelas.</CHOICE>
                    <CHOICE letter="d" correct="true">Sacremento.</CHOICE>
                </PROBLEM>
    There is one question, that is structured so there are two right answers, but when I add correct="true" to both answers I want as right only one is calculated correctly in the scoring. I thinking I need to make an adjustment in the code that pulls in the XML, but not sure where. Hoping someone can help.

  • What is the correct format of filepath string on Mac os x?

    I am trying to retrieve a file from Mac os x by:
    File file=new File(filepath);
    My boot volume name is "myVol", and filepath is "/myVol/opt/ab.txt". However, when I provide this path, the file is not found. I just figured out that if I use "/opt/ab.txt" the correct file can be found!!
    Now, if I have a shared volume on my machine(I got it by menu "Go-->Connect to Server..."), whose name is "Mac Share", the filepath should be something "/Mac Share/test/123.txt". File file=new File("/Mac Share/test/123.txt") can not find the file. It looks like that it's trying to find 123.txt from /myVol/Mac Share/test directory, which doesn't exist. I even tried "//MacShare/test/123.txt", "Mac Share/test/123.txt", etc., and none of them worked!!
    If you know the correct format to specify the filepath on Mac OS x, please give me help!!!!
    Thanks in advance.

    I don't know the exact answer to your question, but you can probably figure it out on your own like:
    1) Create a File object that represents an existing file. Play around with the path until the file can be found.
    2) Now that you have a File object representing a valid, existing path, use MyFile.getAbsolutePath() to see what the full path string is. MyFile.getCanonicalPath() might provide some answers as well.
    Whatever getAbsolutePath() returns is the correct format for the file path string.
