Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.

What is the runtime error compute_bcd_overflow.

Hi guys,
pls let me know that when the runtime error compute_bcd_overflow occurs.what will be the causes for this program.

You usually get that, if a number you calculate i getting bigger than the field it is stored in allows.
Take a look at your short dump, in the details it should give you more information and also the place in the coding where the error happens.

Urgent help needed in redirecting to ErrorPage in case of jsp runtime error

Hi,
I have two problems in Portal. I am working with sturts portlets.
1) Some times I am getting No Provider session Error . I know that struts renderer always needs session. In my provider.xml file I changed the session attribute to true.

and In my provider Login Frequency is also set to "Once Per User Session" I want to get rid of this error permanently.
2) Another problem i am facing is handling errors in Jsps (Like some compilation errors in that jsp or runtime jsp exception) I would like to forward to the errorpage. Can I do with
<%@page errorPage="myErrorPage.jsp" %> in every jsp?
Currently I am getting the following error if anything goes wrong in the jsp.
???: ??????????????????: 500 Internal Server Error
In that case I would like to forward to an error page. It is not happening now.
How will get the path to that jsp? Is PortletRenderRequest can be used?
Any suggestions?

Could you post more details perhaps? Eg. the complete files.
Also, I would recommend that you consider using the runtime include, <jsp:include ...>, and put your variables in the request scope.

JSP Runtime error

I have having a problem running the following JSP which compiles cleanly with no errors:
JSP Error:

java.lang.Class java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass0(java.lang.String, byte[], int, int, java.security.ProtectionDomain)

The classes are in the correct directory but no .jpa file is created. What causes this problem to occur? This program calls a servlet. I have another JSP that is standalone and it runs correctly. I am using Jdeveloper 9.03.1035.

Unfortunately I cannot make enough out of this message to be able to provide any insight.
Could you please give some more details on your development platfrom and app architecture?

How do I get the details of runtime errors to display in errorPage.jsp???

how do I get the details of a JSP runtime error onto my errorPage.jsp?
Currently, I'm getting a NumberFormatException - but I can see no details.
I have to assume that I do not have the errorPage.jsp set up correctly to capture the details of an exception.
Can someone provide an example (e.g., regular.jsp and errorPage.jsp) that illustrate how this is done (i.e., showing the details - stacktrace, etc - of a runtime exception)?

You need to create a stringwriter, wrap it in a printwriter, then print to the printwriter, then convert the stringwriter to a string.
Here's an example:
StringWriter sw = new java.io.StringWriter();
PrintWriter pw = new java.io.PrintWriter(sw);
e.printStackTrace(pw);
String strError = sw.toString();
I hope this works. I didn't test the above code. I don't think I'm leaving anything out, but it's been a while since I've done it. Either way, it should get you on the right track to get what you need.

how often had you restarted ME21N before you posted this message?
In best case this message appears only once, because the program / or dictionary was changed while you executed ME21N
If many times, then contact your ABAPer, because then he probably did not transport all objects that were changed, or the objects have to be regenerated in your system.

Such dumps, DYNPRO_FIELD_CONVERSION come usually in case of Module pool programming also. The main reason for this type of dump is the passing of an unacceptable value in a specific varaible or field.
Ex. : As in the case of a Module pool, for a quantity field which does not accept negative values, but if you try to read the values from the databse tables (Sometimes the data may be errenously entered into the table) to the screen, rthe screen field cannot hold the -ve value as it is of the type of the data element quantity as mentioned earlier.
Such errors can be avoided be finding out the error records which exist or by finding the error values which exist in the transaction or the database table.

Runtime Error building Installer with NI-VISA Runtime

Greetings, I'm getting this error whenever I check the "NI-VISA Runtime" option in the installer app builder.
Everything builds fine when I check only the Runtime Engine. Shown below is what causes the RUNTIME ERROR and closes Labview Unexpectedly.

This is a relatively common error with the Application Builder that can happen for several different reasons, namely registry keys pointing to installations that no longer exist. The easiest way to identify the problem is to get detailed information about the installer build. Here are directions:
LabVIEW has the
ability to create a very detailed log of the events that occur when
building an application or installer. To enable this feature, open up
the LabVIEW.ini file and copy "CDK.EnableLog=true" to the bottom
of the file. Save the changes and close the ini file. The LabVIEW.ini
file is usually located in C:\Program Files\National
Instruments\LabVIEW X.X
Enabling this feature will create a log file in the %temp% directory of your computer (%...% means a computer variable) .
To
find out where this temp directory is located, go to Start>>Run.
Type in "cmd". Then type "set". This will return all of your computer's
variable names.
Look for TEMP in the list of variable names. You should see something like "TEMP=C:\DOCUME~1\user\LOCALS~1\Temp".
Navigate to this directory using Windows Explorer.
You
should see a file named "Name.log" where "name" is the name of your
build specification. For example, you might see "My Installer.log" if
the name of your build specification is "My Installer".
This will give you a more detailed log of the attempted build and, if I'm correct about why this particular build failed, show you which installer is expected at that registry. If the registry points to a directory without the necessary installer (i.e. VISA), simply delete the registry and allow the App Builder to prompt you to to point to the correct location.

Can you please tell me ? what is the runtime error you are getting.
the steps to transfer the recording to the program is .
1) save the recording.
2) press back button.
3) select your recording name.
4) click Program.
5) give the program name startign with Z
6) check transfer from recording.
7) enter.
this is the steps that you have to follow while recording. even then also if you dont get then . please provide me with the runtime error . it would be help ful for me to help you easier.
