Beacuse the only wdThis.wdGet...that I see is wdThis.wdGetAPI().
What is missing??

define a controller usage relation to the component controller within the Properties Tab. Afterwards, your IPrivate-API of the component interface view controller should expose this access method to invoke the IPublic-API of the component controller.

" is missing - FCP can't see file name to reconnect it

I have moved a large amount of files assuming I could easily reconnect using media manager. It now says " is missing and seems unable to see that I have 100s of named files to import. The only solution I have is going through each file one by one and manually locating it.

Yes, do a search in this forum and you will find a few threads about it.
As far as I know there's no solution yet.
Can you give us more detail about your setup (version FCP etc) and the kind of Files you are using? (XDCam, DV, Prores, etc)
Maybe we can find a common denominator which causes this problem.
It also might be helpfull if you exactly did with those files.
for exemple: Was FCP running while you moved them?
Was the disk disconnected while you opened this project? etc
Please be accurate.

Contacts randomly missing . Can only see H N V and W

So randomly yesterday I went to my contacts and only certain ones are showing up. But when I look at call log and messages the names are still there with number attached. i switched phones with the iCloud the other day but everything was perfectly fine. How can I fix this??

I had been syncing with iCloud but, as mentioned, I turned off the automatic syncing to see if that was the issue. The last manual sync to iCloud I did was las night, after which all of my contacts were still there - they were also still there this morning. I randomly looked at my phone about an hour ago and realized the issue had happened again so no sync was done between last night's and the issue happening again today.

I have same problem. 3 iPads in the house + iMac. Airdrop works just fine except on mine. Mine simply doesn't show Airdrop anywhere. Tried every suggestion on the boards....but I don't even see an Airdrop icon....not on control panel, not under general - restrictions...nowhere.

I don't know what happenned but I can't see my video anymore... They all became a white square with a X inside... It does the same thing if I import a new video. I tried uninstalling everything but it didn't work, I have Adobe presenter 9, I tried it on another computer with Adobe Presenter 8 and it worked, can someone help me, please ?

I can send you the file but actually it does that with any file. If I make a new one, i have the same problem, but I save it and try it on another computer that has adobe presenter 8 and it worked. It used to work but now it doesn't, it's really weird. I never had problem but I installed Presenter 9 today and it worked fine this morning but stoped to work fine in afternoon. I really don't understand.
If I import the file, I can see the preview but once in ppt, it give me a white square. It's weird because I only opened the program again and the problem suddenly appears...

I have backed up my iPhone to iCloud. I have switched on the back up photos, etc. (basically everything). But, when I open iClould on my computer, and log in, the only things I see are my Contacts, iCloud email (not my other two email accounts that I use on my iPhone), iWork, Calendar, and Notes. I don't see any photos, videos, or music (all music purchased from iTunes Store). Okay, two possibilities I can think for problems (even if they aren't related to your specific problem) are the AdobePDFViewer.plugin and QuickTime Plugin.webplugin.
The first item is for Acrobat Reader, which you don't need for PDF files because Safari can render them itself much faster than that bloated memory hog. I would advise disabling it by starting Acrobat Reader, go to Preferences > Internet and uncheck the box at the top where it says something very similar to "Display PDFs in browser using:", then quit Acrobat Reader. Then go to /Library/Internet Plug-Ins and remove the AdobePDFViewer.plugin item.
The QuickTime Plugin.webplugin can cause problems with a variety of things, but if you get rid of it, you'll be unable to use things like widgets. You can disable it by creating a new folder in the same directory called Internet Plug-Ins (Disabled) and moving it there until you need it; then move it back.
It's possible that one or both of these items are interfering with the virtual tour working, so you should try disabling both, then restart and test Safari again. It works for me up to a point, but then it displays a not-helpful error message and directs you to a page to download other QuickTime components, without telling you which one it needs, if any.

[iPhone SDK] Can't see distribution Profile in Xcode

Okay, I've been struggling for three days now but no matter what I do, I can't see my distribution profile in Xcode.
At times I see weird numbers but not the actual profile name. However packing that doesn't work. I've followed all instructions but in vain. Any one had similar issues?

Same exact problem here. I have been struggling for more than 2 weeks with no solution. It works on my second Mac, but not on my main Mac, the one I used to request the certificates. So, maybe I need to delete all certificates & profiles and import them manually?
Have anyone tried that technique? Did it help? I know that some of you have solved this issue. Could you please post your solution?

Difference between component controller & Custom controller

Hi all
what is the main difference b/w component controller , custom controller & interface controller.
i want to know the difference of these three in the real time environment.
if anybody explains me with any simple example then it is great help to me....

Hi Suresh,
Component Controller and Custom Controller are more or less the same. Both are related to a particular component in the webdynpro application you create.
Component Controller:-
For each component of yours there will be a component controller, were in you can define context variables and methods, events etc.. This usefull while using models.
Simple example where we can see this is, when you create global context variable in this controller and map this variable to the view controller context variable of different view, which enables you to pass the value of the variable from one view to another.
Custome Controller:-
They also have the same the function but as the name suggest there function can be customised. That is we can have more than one custom controller for a component. This is usefull when we need to create seperate execute methods for inputs from model import( Both webservice and rfc call).So you can seperate each other. Example is there in the more sample codes and application section.
Interface Controller:
There is only one interface controller for a component. It is mainly used when we need to communicate between two components.There is sample application for communication between two components in the sample codes and application section.

Mapping one node in a view context to many nodes in the component controlle

I need to map an element (attribute) of a node in the View Context to an attribute of multi nodes of the same type:
Context View:
customer_no
      |
      | -> KUNNR
Component Controller Context having two nodes:
- Node1
     RFC1
        |
        |->KUNNR
- Node2
      RFC2
         |
         |->KUNNR
Above I need to map the (KUNNR) in customer_no node to KUNNR in the RFC1 RFC2 before i execute the two RFCs services.
Note:
if this is not possible would you mention another solution.

   As per MVC you cannot map context from view controller to component controller.Mapping can happen from component
controller to view controller.
You cannot create mapping for context attributes. You can map nodes if both source node and destination node both has same structure and same number of attributes. If they dont contain same number of attributes the extra attributes from the source node gets copied to the destination node.
In your case before the RFC execution you can read the value of attribute Kunnr from view and set it the RFC attribute Kunnr before the Function module execution.

Yes, You can call method of component controller from View.
If you have already mapped any context node/attribute between your view and component controller then it means component controller is already added in your view. If you have not done same then you can add component controller by going into the properties of view.
To access the method use following code.
wdThis.wdGet<Your_controllername>Controller().<methodName>();

Any clue, how i can add a mail account to apple mail app, but with separate password / pin to open it.
Years ago there was a program called mail switcher which added this functionality, but thats gone.

They would have to be logged in as separate users in order not to see your account in Mail. Whatever accounts put in Mail under your account will show up. All mail accounts usually have there own user and password. The only thing you can do is to remove the password from Keychain and take the account offline so you don't keep getting prompts for passwords each time it checks for mail.
Not a great solution.
Best way is to give the other user their own user account with their own mail and enable fast user swithcing to log between the different users if all access the computer frequently.

Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Although lengthy, I could not find a more comprehensive place to retrieve this information. Feel free to post additional information, faulty information, or other related topics below as this is simply a collection of data and it would be practically impossible to test all of them. What happened to the option to see all your purchased movies alphabetically? I can only see recent purchases and then I have to look by movie type. With over 500 movies purchased this is a huge pain.

Same issue here. Might have to do with size of library. I too have over 300 purchased movies. "ALL PURCHASED" folder disappeared yesterday on all my AppleTV's. My son only has 20+ purchased movies and his still shows "ALL" folder. However, I had him log in under my account and "ALL" folder is missing??? I hope Apple gets this resolved quickly. I too do not want to flip through various Genres looking for movies.

Can't see all missed calls on my iPhone 4.

It only shows me a notification if my phone is locked. If not, then I can't see the missed call. Even in the call log, no missed calls and received calls are saved after 21st June. Can someone help me with this issue?

Thanks for the reply. I tried clearing the recents and now can see the new calls being registered in the call log. Initially it was only showing me the calls until the 21st of June and not the later ones. Appreciate your answer.
Could you please tell me what is the maximum size for the call log, it will surely help me in clearing the same at the proper time.
