When a program gets disconnected from ORACLE?

Hi all,
I have written an proc program .I have to handle the disconnection from oracle in the
middle of a program.
Can any one tell me what are the majour/important cases in which a program gets disconnected from oracle and also how to test these cases.
Please help me in this regard ,

there is some OP report after Windows update Dec 2014 macro stop responding ( I cant confirm if this is also related to your issue) its because security update for Office maybe conflict with the active-x that you are installed
try to
Close Excel
Start Windows Explorer.
Select your system drive (usually C:)
Use the Search box to search for *.exd
Delete all the files it finds.
Start Excel again
Open that file and save it, and try open at Windows 7
to get more detail about this issue, I suggest also contact Office forum

From application I save date at 00:30 clock and send e.g. 28.06.2002, but in Oracle date is save as 27.06.2002 01:00 (hour=01 , I suppose that is because java.sql.Date hasn't time the Oracle set it time = time zone=+1) And when I get date from Oracle I get incorrect date. In SQL I don't use date masks. Maybe solution is to use java.sql.Timestamp object (when save date to Oracle) instead of java.sql.Date?

time zone=+1) Presumably you are using setTimestamp() to store the value. If you are explicitly using a varchar (string) then you will have to correct the timezone your self.

Form button does not work when a program is moved from Windows 8.2 to Windows 7

Hi,
I have a few Excel programs which use the ODBC to get data from Access and which have macros which writes data to an external program, MYOB.
When the macros tries to write the data to MYOB it fails if I am not running the program in administrator mode.   It seems that Windows 8.2 has a different level of security than Windows 7 and must be run in administrator mode for the ODBC to work.
I have had issues after running the program in administrator mode (testing) if I simply do a save (in administrator mode) and then send it to the customer.   The issue is that it just will not work on the customer's site.   I have gotten
around this in the past by saving any changes, going back out of excel, loading the program again (not in administrator mode) and saving it - before sending it to the customer.   This worked until now.
For some unknown reason, the last time I sent a program to the customer and carried out the above process, the program stopped working. Originally I thought that the macro just wouldn't work on windows 7, but eventually found that it is the form button
that will no longer work when the program is moved from 8.2 to 7.
Does anyone know why there is an incompatibility between 8.2 and Windows 7 and what I should be doing to ensure that my programs work in my customers environment(windows7)?
In the meanwhile, I have changed the form button to an activex button and the program works fine in both environments.

Your Database has started. It only disconnected the session that started the database. For instance, if you are using a startuo script or dbstart.
Why do you think it is not started?

I am devloping a chat application.... there are loats of users. and one user can have many friends in his/her list. and showing in two groups as Online And Offline.
How Chat Server will know what is the user's Status(online or offline) When the user will get disconnected due to Internet failure

Very Important, how much Free Space is on your Hard Drive first of all? Click on the Macintosh HD on the Desktop, then do a Get Info on it.
Could be many things, we should start with this...

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.
Do they launch OK while in Safe Mode?

* in which table's column is set index
* what type of index is on this column
* name of a trigger which exist on a table
* type of trigger (before, after etc)

One of the best way to know which views to use is doing select * from dict where table_name like 'xxx';
For example in your case you needed to know about the indexes and triggers so

- the part of the EJB spec that deals with databases is called the Java Persistence API, but likely you are just looking for the JDBC API.

Wireless Router WRT54G version 7. Connected computer gets disconnected from internet

I have recently installed a Wireless Router WRT54G version 7 for my home office purpose.
My home PC and my laptop are connected to it. Especially on my laptop, I have observed frequently getting disconnected from the internet. I need to power OFF the router and power it ON to get the internet connection restored

Access set up pageof router .... look for MTU ....change the size from 1500 to 1300 ....click save settings ....
Click on wireless tab ....change the channel to 11 .....click save settings ....
Go to advance wireless settings subtab ....
Beacon interval 75
RTS & Fragmentation threshold 2306...... click save settings ...
Click on status check Ip address & firmware version on the same & let me know ...

JSON is a way to format data, not a way to fetch data. Call it an alternative to XML.
Are you perhaps talking about doing an ajax request to fetch data?

Go to IChat in the menu bar > Preferences > Accounts.
Log out of AIM and then use the Server Settings tab
Set the port to 443(press return/enter(you might have to tick and untick SSL for 443 to stick)).

Get disconnected from my Wi-Fi Every 5 Mins

I get disconnected from my Internet connection roughly every 5 minutes. Usually it comes back on after a couple of seconds which wouldn't usually be a problem but a certain app I use a lot requires a constant Internet connection and every time it disconnects I have to do a lot to get back to where I was.
It seems to be only the iPad that does this, I haven't noticed it on my laptop or ps3.
Anyone know what to do?

If resetting (or completely reinstalling) the iPad 1 doesn't help, you could master reset and, then, reconfigure the access point / install a new firmware (if any) on it. It might help. If it doesn't, get some other access point.
I've been using the iPad 1 with tons of different access points (mostly SMC and Linksys ones) and never had such a problem.
EDIT: BTW, why don't you update the iPad to 5.1.1? While 5.1.1 does have its share of problems on the iPad 1 because of the lack of RAM, it might still be better in this regard.

I wrote this code and it works fine without the statement of where date > '01-09-2010'
But i need that statement on the select. I read a lot about this issue, but no answer.
My code is (this code is in SAP ECC 6.0)

You can finnd a command DECODE which is used for date formats. If you have a look at whole theory then you will get an idea.
