When ever the Download window opens firefoxes freezes/stops responding. I can't do anything with it. As soon as it opens, no response. I disabled most of my add-ons but still doesn't work. It's only started recently. Maybe a week or so.

Do you have "Remember download history" checked in ''Firefox button > Options > Options'' (OR ''Tools > Options'') ''> Privacy'' ?

Also, do not clear download history when using Clear Recent History or when automatically clearing history when closing Firefox.

1.If internet is fine then this might be becase of Creative cloud files, please try the steps metioned in http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/unknown-server-error-launchin g-cc.html and see if it works.
2.Please navigate to ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/opm.db and trash it. Try to launch CC desktop and sign in with your Adobe Id (http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/access-hidden-user-library-f iles.html) .
{Note for step 2: The file is in the user Library, not the Applications folder. To see the hidden user Library (not the system Library) in the Finder click on the Gomenu item and then hold down the Alt / Option key. You will see Library appear between Home and Computer. Click onLibrary and then navigate toApplication Support > Adobe > OOBE.
Alternatively open the Terminal and paste in the following and then press the Enter / Return key:
rm ~/Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/OOBE/opm.db, This will also delete the file}

After i download web page, the downloads window in firefox 3.6.9 is blank

why is the downloads window in firefox 3.6.9 blank after i download a file or web page? all of my downloads are directed to the "downloads" folder on my desktop [which i selected from ere i placed it]. i've tried many suggestions from contributors, mozilla magazine; and google suggestions.
i selected in "tools, options" to "show" the downloads window when downloading," and elected NOT to close the window when downloads are finished. i cannot find an option to retain downloads in the download window.
i also tried a dozen or more suggestions from mozilla's help page and from forum contributors.
perhaps i'm incapable of accomplishing something that is beyond me.
i do appreciated your advice.

yes, i checked the setting, and it is set exactly how you suggest.
i remember that, in earlier versions of firefox 3x, the download window always remained open after a download was completed.
in tools/options/general, the setting, "show the dowloads window when downloading a file" is checked. i unchecked the option to close the download window when all downloads are finished.
now, what do i do about the "save files to" window and the "ask me where to save files" options. right now, the "save files to" is set to downloads folder. should i change this setting to "ask me"? or, what?

Get Crash Reporter EVERY time I try to open Firefox. Installed latest version and disabled or deleted all add-ons. Still not working.

Checked for missing files In windows using Windows System File Checker in Command Prompt. There are none.

Everything else on my system works fine except for Firefox.

Settings>Store...tap the ID shown...sign out...sign back in with the ID you want to use.
Note: Apps are forever tied to the Apple ID used to originally obtain them. They cannot be updated using any other Apple ID other than the one they were originally obtained with.

If so, what happens when you try to download? Is it a case of nothing happens? If so, take a look at the suggestions under 'Stalled Download' in this link:

It sounds like you were using your Wi-Fi network from your Airport base station and the connection cut out. You have reset the password on the device but the issue persists. I would try the 3 resets outlined in the following article in order to help resolve the issue. If it persists, is the Wi-Fi connection issue happening on more than one device or computer?

Are you using any MS Office third party Add-ins? Test: Remove third party Add-ins other than PDFMaker. Test to see if the MS Office apps run afterward.
Did you attempt to repair MS Office? Test: Go to Add/Remove Control Panel run Repair.
Finally, have you tried testing to see if it's PDFMaker? Test: Use the Add/Remove Control Panel to modify the Acrobat installation to remove PDFMaker. See if MS Office applications launch and behave correctly?

Lost all the orginal photos on an external hard drive. Can I do anything with the images in the library?

I recently had an external; drive die which had the only copy of the orginal files for a referenced library in iPhoto. I can still see the images in iPhoto but can't do anything with them becuase the program says it can't find the orginal. Clearly there are images stored somewhere in the system does anyone know of a way to extract them to recover the lost images?

It gives you a new library from yorr previews - do it by depressing the option key and launching iphoto - create a new library - open it and drag each folder form the priviews folder of you old library to the iPhoto window
And I strongly suggest that you make this a default managed library - and that you start backing up before you lose these too

Besides being unable to view some images on some pages, some windows open too wide inside the current window. If I start up in safe mode, everything works OK. But if I disable all extensions and add-ons, I still have the problem.
