When exporting video, narration does not export over but the audio and soundtrack does fine.
I have created a video that contains audio from the video, music background soundtrack, and my narration voice over. All the sound exports correctly except the narration. There is not sound whatsoever, not muffled or soft, it does not exist at all. I have saved it as AVI, as Windows Media Player, as Adobe Flash Drive, etc and still nothing. Please help...

What version of Premiere Elements and on what computer operating system is it running? Have you created the narration in Premiere Elements
using the Narration Tool? Do you have the problem in the export if you move the narration clip to one of the numbered Audio Tracks before export?
Are you using the SmartFix feature in this project? If so, have you checked your background foreground settings?
But, before that, is the sound on all the audio tracks OK when evaluated in the Edit area? Is the sound a problem only in the export?
If you are having sound problems in the Edit area before export, are you adjusting the volume while viewing the Audio Meters
typically found under Window Menu/Audio Meters.
Let us start here and then decide what next.

I see that you are not able to scan over the wireless network. I would like to help you resolve this issue.
Check the driver name that is installed for the printer. Make sure it shows just the printer's name.
Click the Apple menu and then click System Preferences. Click Printers & Scanners, highlight the printer name on the left side and on the right side of the screen it should show the printer's name. (Deskjet 4645)
If the full printer name isn't listed correctly, delete it and add the printer name back in from the list. Click the - sign to delete the driver and then click the + sign to add the driver, might have to click the drop down to select the printer's name to add it in.
I have provided a document to make sure the Scan to Computer is enabled. You will have to select 10.8, then Network Connection. A 'No Computer Detected' or 'Connection Error' Message Displays When Scanning for HP Officejet 4610 ...
If you are still not able to scan, then I would connect the printer to the computer by a USB cable to see if it is a network issue or the scan port might be blocked on the router. Unfortunately the printer isn't accessible in the same room, but this will rule out a software issue or a network issue. You can contact the router company to check and open these ports 9220/9500/427 on the router for scanning.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

On my Mac Pro, early 2008 2 x 2.8GHz Quad Core 10.7.5, replaced 4 x 500ghds with 4 x 3Tb. The Raid card Raid 5ed them OK but can not load time machine back up as it does not see any of the 4 drives, neither does disc utilities, any thoughts?
You don't see drives when using a hardware RAID only the volumes.
WD Green are not suitable for hardware RAID (or software RAID for that matter).
USB2 and TimeMachine are a disaster waiting to happen. I've used SATA (internal) and eSATA (using SATA PCIe cards) trouble-free.

My Ipod nano 6Th sometimes shuts down when I connect the phones, sometimes it not shuts down, but the volume and standby buttons do not work. If I not connect the phones everything works fine. But with the phones connected it goes crazy. I alredy reset, restore and nothing. If I reset and let the phones connect the up and down volumes buttons start to work. let's get a crash log from itunes, and send it to the Apple engineers for a look.
Typically, you'll need to configure Dr. Watson on your PC in order to generate crash logs. Windows start menu -> Run. Type in "cmd". Hit return. At the prompt in the command line window that comes up, type in
drwtsn32 -i
And hit return.
This will create crash logs in Documents And Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson\. There'll usually be a file in here called "drwtsn32.log"
prior to collecting the itunes crash log, delete any existing crash logs in there. (we want to make sure we send the correct crash log.)
Generate the crash, collect the crash log, and and send it as an attachment to this email address.

how is my laptop working even though I spilled iced tea on it? The keyboard does not light up but works normally, and everything else seems to be in order! The front of the bottom is hot while the rest if mildly warm. I don't know if its going to have a problem in the future. I wiped off as much as I could with a cloth and left it open and upside down for 10-15 minutes. Any idea if I am in the clear?

I use an iMac 27" (mid 2011). Until recently I had OSX 10.6.8 installed, but both, the HDD and SSD had to be replaced, and I lost all the memory.
After the repair through Apple Care I had OSX 10.7.5. (Lion) installed, which developed a Magic Mouse problem.
Unlike with most users, I have no problems with connection, but grapple with a different kind of erratic behaviour.
All fancy stuff is turned off in the mouse preferences. When I try to move, open or close pages, unrelated submenus pop up and hinder the
required task. No matter how often I click, these menus stay there, and they even come up when clicking on the bare desktop.
It renders the mouse absolutely useless, as no work can be done with it.
The first 'Magic Mouse' had depleted batteries every few days, despite switching it off after use.
I was supplied a new Mouse, which does better battery-wise, but the problems are the same. I can't get a result by clicking on any link, due to
the pop-up menus, so both 'Magic Mice' are totally useless.
At present I am using the old USB mouse from my Mac Pro, and that works still o.k.
The problem are not the mice, but the software. The first 2 weeks after installation of OSX 10.7.5 the Magic Mouse worked though.
I have no idea as to what the reason may be.
Has anyone in the community ever experienced that particular problem. Any hint would be welcomed.

Someone on this forum suggested, that USB3 may interfere with the magic mouse.
I have 2 LaCie HDD's about 70 cm away from the mouse, I use them on Thunderbolt. But in operation or not - the result is the same, the mouse plays up! Just now I was clicking the desktop and the mouse created a new folder!!

My Iphone is not seen on itunes when I plug it. I've tried everything that I found on the internet. but it still doesn't work, so I can't sync my iphone. What can I do? I have checked all the USB ports, I have desinstalled and installed again itunes, and I have run out of ideas.
When you plug it it, it should recognize it as an Apple IPHONE under devices. It will then bring the Camera/Connection wizard for the photos on the device. When you plug into different USB, it should bring the hardware wizard and tell you what its installing, what happens?
Under Device Manager, under Imaging Devices it will show up as Apple IPHONE. Is this being shown in your computer? -

Calendar does not sync via ActiveSync. Mail and Contacts work fine.
I recently started using ActiveSync to connect to my corporate Exchange server. Mail and contacts synchronize properly, but calendar items are not downloaded from the server. The iPhone can write to the calendar by adding a new appointment of accepting a new meeting request. I can also see the full list of calendars in my Exchange mailbox when using the iPhone. Simply put, the calendar items are the only part that's missing.
My IT team has confirmed that calendar items will sync to Windows Mobile devices using ActiveSync.
Here are the steps I've taken to solve the problem:
1. I enabled and disabled calendar using the On/Off slider.
2. I removed and reconfigured the Exchange account on the iPhone
3. I confirmed that all calendar items in Exchange had the Message Class set to "IPM.Appointment"
4. I restored the iPhone to factory settings and used a new test Exchange account to confirm that corrupted calendar items were not an issue.
5. Confirmed that the capitalization of my e-mail address in the Exchange Account Info on the iPhone matches the primary SMTP entry in the Exchange GAL.Guys, I did a bit of research with my other iPhone/Exchange - buddies and this is what we found out:
1. Friend sends me an calendar event from his PC / Exchange Account
2. Calendar event displays as tentative on both my iPhone and on my PC / Exchange Account
3. I accept the calendar event on my PC / Exchange Account
4. Calendar event turns to "busy" on my PC / Exchange Account
5. Calendar event disappears from my iPhone
6. I double-click the event on my PC / Exchange Account and click "Accept" again
7. Calendar event reappears on my iPhone
Funny enough, this does not happen with all events - it seems to depend on the Exchange server and/or Outlook version in use. For those affected: Is your Exchange Server 2003 or 2007, and what version is the Exchange Server of the person who sent you the event in the first place? -
When I click on Firefox to open the browser window nearly 1/2 of the time it never opens. It shows that it is trying to open and then it does not. No matter how many times I click on it it will not open unless I reboot my computer.

When my iphone 4 is not plugged in to headphones the sound does not work, and if I try to adjust the sound with the plus and minus buttons in the side it comes up like normal saying "Ringer" but then there is no bar underneath it. Sometimes the sound will work for a couple of minutes. However, there is definitely no problem with the speaker as the alarm always works perfectly fine.

No. What he should be doing is syncing his contacts to an app on his computer or cloud service, then sync them back to the phone (without restoring the backup).
Never rely on the backup for contacts. The contact info stored there may be incomplete and is only meant to maintain the recent calls and favorites lists. -
HT1933 when i play my purchased movies in HD there the audio and video quality is poor
I have purchased movies in HD but when i try to play them the audio skips and there is skipping in the video as well. However i also have a few movies in Sd and they do not have these problems. However even though the computer im using is not a MAC is an extremely nice Asus with a 4th gen I5 and supports HD video playback.
