When I make my computer to sleep after a few hour it will light up again and say that The mac have a problem need to be shut down
I don't know why wne I put my mac to sleep it will light up it self after a few hour and say that the mac have a problem needs to be shut down, does anyone know why?

I am trying to do a full Time Machine Backup to a new external disk. The backup starts, and it says "Time remaining about 4 days." That seems like a very long time, but the real problem is that the computer "logs off" after a few hours, and the backup stops. The system preferences are set to "Never" for Computer sleep and Display sleep. The computer does not ordinarily log off automatically, but it has done this twice since I started the Time Machine backup.
If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Enter the word "Starting" (without the quotes) in the String Matching text field. You should now see log messages with the words "Starting * backup," where * represents any of the words "automatic," "manual," or "standard." Note the timestamp of the last such message. Clear the text field and scroll back in the log to that time. Select the messages timestamped from then until the end of the backup, or the end of the log if that's not clear. Copy them (command-C) to the Clipboard. Paste (command-V) into a reply to this message.
If all you see are messages that contain the word "Starting," you didn't clear the search box.
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don't post many repetitions of the same message.
When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

Hi i have an ipod 4th gen. the problem is when ever i try to sync my iPod to my computer a mesage comes up and says that the ipod can't be backed up. There wasn't a problem until I upgraded the software. How do I fix this??

When I start up the computer, the dialogue box opens and saying that the procedure entry point splite3_wal_checkpoint could not be located in the dynamic link library SQLite3.dll. I tried to fix this problem by redownloading itunes, but the problem still persists. How can I fix it? thank you.
With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Reboot and see if all is well
In case that your OS is Windows 7 (64 bit)
1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
2. Copy file "SQLite3.dll"
3. Open new windows explorer, to to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
4. Paste file "SQLite3.dll" to the location.
5. Reboot your computer, it should not display that message, it should be clear.

I start the computer the screen has blue vertical stripes and says that the Adobe Air application can not be found. Some of my programs don't run and say:

What to do?Hello cor-el, thanks for your reply. I changed my settings for downloads to desktop and it has appeared on there. When I double click I am asked which program I want to open file. I click firefox and another box "opening install" says I have chosen to open the file which is an application and do I want to save it. This is the only real option so I press save file. I get a box saying this is an executable file which may contain viruses - do you want to run. I press ok and the final box showing C drive file name and desktop appears stating application not found.
This happens the same whenever I try to install.
To my untrained eye the application is not being recognised as an application and I cannot work out how to get it to do that.
My plugin is still showing as out of date.

I have had an iphone 3g and recently had to restore my factory settings, when I have tried to add facebook on again it says that the relevant update of 4.3 is not available, however the 4.3 update is not available for the iphone 3g. how can i solve this and get facebook back on my phone

Unless you have done as you should and have the old facebook app on your computer. -
when i try to turn on my ipod, it tells me to connect to itunes and restore but a message pops up and says that i dont have an internet connection. the connection is on and it loads at 100mb per second.

Go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info (and then System Report if you are running 10.7 Lion or 10.8 Mountain Lion), then select Power from the left hand column of the System Profiler. If you are entering an Apple ID in Settings>iCloud which has not yet been used to create an iCloud account then the phone will attempt create a new account.
However the maximum number of iCloud accounts that any one device can create is limited to three - this is tied to the hardware and can't be bypassed. If you've already somehow created three iCloud accounts then you would have to create a new one on another Mac ior iOS device, and then you could sign into it on this phone. -
I am having problems with photo stream. Every few days I need to sign out of iCloud to enable photos to upload to the stream, then after a few days, uploads just stop. Whe I went to the mac store the other day, the tech said that if it happened again I woould need to talk to a tec in the photo stream server area. How do I do tha?

My computer is running super slow. I can correct the problem briefly by zapping the PRAM but is resumes as a problem after a few hours. I have good time machine (capusle) backup daily. I have done a disk verify and there doesn't appear to be anything wrong there.

Mac book pro mid 2009 shuts down after a few hour of use and then is very difficult to reboot. Sometimes I have to wait hours, sometimes I have to repeatedly press the power button and then it will slowly start a little longer each press untill it completely boots. It has done this three times know. Each time I was watching a video.
Try running the Apple Hardware Test - sounds as if you've hardware issues.

Brand new 13" rMBP (mid-2014) doesn't wake from sleep after a few hours
Hi,
I have brand new, mostly untouched, 13" rMBP running Mavericks (10.9.4) that crashes during sleep. If I close the lid and leave it for more than a few hours, I have to do a force shut down by holding the power button for a few seconds and turn it back on again.
I've already followed the advice of this article: OS X: When your Mac doesn't sleep or wake and have called Apple Support, who did nothing but read the article to me.
I have:
- reset the System Management Controller
- restored all defaults in Energy Saver preferences
- booted into Safe Mode to verify disk (unsure of whether or not this was effective at all)
In my Console, I am getting a line that says "com.apple.message.signature: Platform Failure"
According to this other thread - MB can't wake up from sleep anymore - it seems like it might be a hardware failure. Can anyone confirm this and/or advise on possible next steps?

it wont let the second disc install and says its a trial period when i paid alot for it, i need to finish the install !!
Photoshop Elements 10 was a single disk product. Might the second disk be the video editing program 'Premiere Elements 10'? If so it will have a different serial number (24-digits commencing 1143) to that of Photoshop Elements (24-digits commencing 1057).
If you don't have the serial number, but did register the software, you should be able to retrieve it from the 'My Products' section in your 'My Adobe' A/c.
