When I synced my iphone 4s with photos from my Blackberry it creatsd 2 albums with the same photos. with 1677 pictures in each, how do i delete one of them?

It created two libraries "Blackberry" and "Photo Library" and I need to delete one but it will not allow a delete.

This is how Apple handles photos.
They are NOT duplicates.
Just all songs are in your library, and those exact same songs can be accessed from a playlist, all photos synced to your iphone are in Photo Library, you can access those exact same photos (not duplicates) from teh folder/album that you synced.
If you sync 10 albums, you will have one Photo Library where all the pics reside. You can access those same photos via the different albums you synced.

I recently backed up all of my data using Samsung Recovery Solution 5 to an external hard drive so that I could restore my laptop. I put all of my data back on the restored laptop and reinstalled iTunes. After the error message that says that certain items could not be found and the "sync" is finished I go back to my music in iTunes and there are exclamation marks next to many songs. I follow some instructions regarding the Edit - Preferences - Advanced settings and the exclamation marks go away until I try to sync my phone again. Then I get the same error message and the exclamation marks return. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes and the same thing happens again. I am about to schedule an appointment with the Genius Bar but would like to avoid that if possible. Thank you in advance for any help.

I've been experiencing the same problems, until my friend told me to manage my songs and albums manually instead of syncing it. to do that, connect your phone to the macbook via usb and go to 'songs', and scroll down. check the box that says 'manually manage songs and albums', and from there all you do is drag-and-drop your playlists into your iphone under the 'device' tabs. as for the random songs, uncheck the box that says 'automatically fill free space with songs'. hope this helps!

1. Don't confuse "Apple ID" with iTunes Account ID. You can have many Apple IDs but only one iTunes account active at a time.
2. If you "changed" your iTunes account ID, you actually have 2 accounts - one under the old name plus the new name.
3. You can't merge the accounts - they remain separate. Apps purcahsed under the old account name will update ONLY WHEN THE PHONE IS SIGNED IN TO THE OLD ACCOUNT NAME and visa versa.
4. Likewise, you can sync only the apps, music, media purchased under the account the phone AND iTunes are signed in to.

Before you begin the import, edit the properties of the tracks to set the Album Artist to Various Artists and Part of a Compilation to Yes.

Are you saying the Playlist section on your iPhone Music app is empty or you don not know how to get to the Playlists?

HT4759 Is it true that when setting up devices with the find my phone app you must use the same account for ICloud ? If so how do I delete a current account to make it read as the other ICloud accounts?

I'm setting up my devices with the find my phone app. I have accomplished setting up 2 devices. The third I can't setup because I can't change the iCloud account.
My understanding from reading that the iCloud accounts must use the same name on all devices. How do I change that account in my phone settings?

You don't have to use the same iCloud account in order to track all your devices. You just have to sign into the iCloud account being used on the device you are trying to track in order to track it. When you sign in on icloud.com and open Find My iPhone, you will see all the devices with Find My iPhone enabled that are using the account you signed in with. To track a device using a different account, simply sign out, then sign back in using the ID the new device is using.
The Find My iPhone app works the same way. It will display devices based on the iCloud account you sign in with on the app. To track a device using a different account, sign out, then sign back in with the iCloud ID that the new device is using.

Two virtual disks with same name - how to safely delete one of them

I mistakenly created a disk in a repository that uses the same friendly name as an existing disk that is in use by a virtual machine.
Can I safely remove the second disk with out OVM trying to delete the original disk as well?

Yes, you will be safe, bacause OVM uses the disk ID to identify the disk.
You can also use the little triangle just to the left of the virtual disk name. It will open a message saying if disk is in use by a Virtual machine.
Also, the GUI will not let you delete a disk which is in use.
If you want another way, you can "edit" the disk in the OVMM GUI, read its ID, cancel the edit, and go delete it from a root command shell on the VM server.
