When to call to close account when contract ends
My contract is up on October 15 i want to close my account when contract ends since my account manager no longer wants to use the account any longer. so i wanted to know when do i exactly call Verizon to cancel before the date or the same day ? and how will the process of closing the account will be?
Call the day the contract ends MODERATOR COMMENT: The previous sentence is incorrect. if you cancel the day the contract ends, there will be an early termination fee assessed.< If you do it before they will charge you the an early termination fee. I swear that I was told if I did it even one day before the end of the contract I would pay a prorated etf. Also, if he wants to keep the number then I would port it out first the final day of the contract or he will loose the number. Make sure it is completely transferred and working before canceling. If that's not important to him then just call to cancel it when the time comes.
Normally, the service cancels with the port process, but I wouldn't trust them not to charge you an extra day or two.

Want to cancel service when contract ends

I was wondering how I go about ending my service with Verizon? My contract ends 6/27/13. What steps would I need to follow so I do not incur a cancellation fee? I have an iPhone 4. Any help would be appreciated.

Adobe is giving me the runaround when all i want to do is download the programs i bought several years ago. Anyone else experience this? Contacted support, was told i would get a call back. Account blocked so I had to create a new one to download trial versions to compete my work. So frustrated.
You will need to have the serial number to activate the products. Please have then handy & also check the compatibility of the operating systems.

My contract ended a few months ago, waiting for my sons contract to end. Last time I checked (3 months ago), everyones contract ended except my sons and daughters, so when I came back online to check up on the dates again, everyones upgrade status said "Upgrade available, 7/12/12! (Not actual date, but close to it, same month, same year) ". So, did my contract just extend without me knowing?
You'll need to call customer service on this one; we have no access to your account to know what happened.
Possibilities:
1-Someone upgraded and all the lines got reset mistakenly
2-Warranty or insurance replacement reset upgrade dates (but not contract dates) -
When making a call, sometimes, my iPhone 5 , gets stuck on 'Calling' than I have to press END..but still nothing happens, than when I press HOME button, the call app keeps running in the background and it keeps saying CALLING... than I have to wait 2 - 3 minutes and call again.

You all just sold us a bad piece of equipment and have us by the tail with our contracts so none of us can get a new phone without paying full price or re-upping our contract. I just got off the phone last night with your high up tech people (you know, the hidden number we get once we tear into your support people enough), they went into my phone again and still didn't find anything wrong. I about got fired from my job for not getting my calls and texts. The BBB has now been contacted, and I feel your end should shore this up for all of us!

Convert Purchase Order to Requisition when contract void

We are using SRM 5.0, R/3 Backend is 4.6C.
For purchase orders for items with contracts that are expired or for incoming requests exceeding target quantity in the contract, we intend to have the purchase order converted to a purchase requisistion automatically.
To do this we have activated the BBP_TARGET_OBJTYPE and implemented the DETERMINE_TARGET_OBJECT_TYPES to convert the PO to PReq by doing the following:
wa_item-pack_objtype = 'BUS2105'. "set to PReq
CLEAR: wa_item-ctr_hdr_number,
wa_item-ctr_item_number.
MODIFY ct_item FROM wa_item.
when expired contract or target quantity of contract exceeded is detected.
However, on approving, this results in backend error:

One observation made when debugging the BAdI is that when the BAdI is being run, ct_item is already set to BUS2105 (PR).Hi Yann
This is because the users would like to automatically create a requisistion when their prior shopping cart ends up in error due to contract expiry or having exceeded target quantity.
The purchase order would then be converted to a purchase requisition (PR) by removing the source of supply.
The error seems to arise from attempting to create a PR in the backend. Is there a way of bypassing this source list check and simply create a PR from SRM?
Removing the source of supply from the shopping cart before approval successfully turns it to a PR. This is what we would want to do, but after approval for situations when contract expires in the midst of approval, or target quantity has been exceeded with this order.

CUP not updating OCS status when user ends call
Hi All,
I have an issue where, when a user places/receives a call their MOC status shows them as "on a call", 99% of the time when they end the call the MOC status changes back to what ever is was set to, i.e. Available.
The 1% of the time is will stay "in a call".
Now I have managed to trace a call from the CUP server and when the status updated correctly I can see a SIP message "ConnectionClearedEvent", however when the status does NOT change back there is no "ConnectionClearedEvent" in the SIPProxy trace file.
So I am assuimg that some thing between CUCM and CUP is failing everynow and again.
I am having a mental black and need to be pointed to the CUCM process that would pass the information to the CUP server.
CUCM 6.1.5.10000-10
CUP 7.0.3.10000-63
Any other help would be appreciated too..

JasonI would recommend you upgrade to CUPS 7.0.8 before troubleshooting.
In each relase between 7.0.3 and 7.0.8 there are some OCS bugs fixed. Not saying that upgrade would fix your problem. But at least it would rule out the known defects.
If there's no CSTA (INFO) message sent to OCS, the problem would be on CUPS side. It could be the CUPS lost its connection with CTIManager thus not able to get CTI event updates.

Sounds like a major hardware problem.
If no change after restoring your iPhone as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup, there is a hardware problem. -
is there anyway to check online to see when my contract ends or even if i have a contract because i don't remember doing one, but my friend said to check because comcast can be tricky. thanks

SuzyQ also brought up a good point that you can upgrade every 20 months versus every 24 months!

Currently I am on a plan with my family and we are all eligible for an upgrade now while our contract ends in August. They're gonna upgrade now and renew their lines because they already know what phones they want. I however want to wait till the new iPhone comes out and then use my upgrade. Can I do that or do I HAVE to use my upgrade/renew my line in August? Thank you.
You don't have to upgrade when you become eligible. You'll go month-to-month until you sign a new two-year contract by getting a subsidized phone.
