Have you got a lock symbol at the top of the screen next to the battery indicator ? If so, then depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can lock rotation either by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon; press home again to exit the taskbar. If there is no lock symbol then try a reset and see if rotates after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Apple recommends you change your Apple ID to your current, working email address. This will not create another Apple ID, it will only change it to your working email address. See Changing the name you use for your Apple ID if you'd like more information.
Note: @mac.com and @me.com Apple IDs can not be renamed. If you no longer use the .mac or .me email address be sure to add your valid email address as an additional email address.

How Can I change the default system editor to use it on Eclipse?

Hi, I want to know something. In Eclipse, when I do the following with a file: Open With -> System Editor, GVIM is opened, and I would want to change this behaviour to another editor.
How Can I perform this?

I'm pretty sure those ENV variables are only used for terminal / console operations, not GUI functionality. I think the confusing issue here, perhaps, was that Eclipse calls the option 'system editor.'
What it is referring to, instead, is the application set in your file manager for opening a particular file type. For me, it opens Scite, as I have Scite set in Nautilus to open most 'text' types. However, I can change the behavior to open Komodo Edit for *.py files by simply right clicking on any *.py file, selecting 'Properties' and setting the appropriate editor in the 'Open with' tab. Now *.py files open in Komodo in any circumstance, including selecting 'Open wirh > system editor' in Eclipse.
The procedure will be slightly different depending on your DE / file manager.

Why can not load the Linux System?

I want to install Linux as the second OS on my notebook.I downloaded the Fedora8 software on the C: partition and decompressed it on the C: partition too. Then I copied and decompressed the file "isolinux " on the D: partition.
I installed the software "grub4dos" and made some changes in the document: \boot\grub\menu.lst. When I restart the computer and choose the Fedora8 from the loader menu, the Linux installation process can not be started and show the follow message:"Because follow document is lost,you can not start Windows:<Winder root>\system32\hal.dll. please copy it on."
What is the reason?

No, but you can make some desktop/folder fonts larger in Finder > View > View Options. Or, in order to make everything larger, go to System Preferences > Displays and change the resolution (take it down a notch) - less crisp, but everything will be a bit larger. If you don't like it, simply revert to the default.

My iPhone 4s says that my software version 5.0.1 is up to date. Why am I not receiving the notification that the new update is available for me to download?

I have an iPhone 4s, not jailbroken. I was able to update to 5.0.1 when it came out last year. When 5.1.1 came out, I noticed that I never received the
notification that a new update was available. I updated my 2 ipads and my wife's iphone 4. I didn't bother looking into it, since I didn't feel the need to update to 5.1.1. Now I want to update to ios 6, but when I go to Settings > General > Software Update. It checks for updates , but still shows me that my 5.0.1 is up to date. I plug into itunes and check for update there and it still indicates that 5.0.1. is up to date as well.
Does anyone know what this is happening and how I can update to ios 6?

Firefox tells me it can harm my computer and when I accept it it says that maybe I don't have permissions to access it. It all started when I accidentaly installed "Babylon" search engine tool bar, when I removed it, the system started blocking Firefox

I accidentally installed the Babylone search engine tool bar while dowloading a program and when I realized that Firefox had been substituded I tried to get back and even ran a restore for the system. Since then, everytime I try to reisnstall Firefox, there is a message that says that Firefox can harm my system and when I ignore it, it says that maybe I don't have permits or licenses for it. I am frustrates as even the menu bar from my alternative search engine, Google Chrome, has disappeared.
Please write back and tell me what to do

You may also need to create a new profile in case more files were damaged by closing down Firefox that way.
