Whenever I try to download an Album it tries to download but then it just stops and says Network Connection to iTunes has timed out.

I'm trying to purchase the new Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire album which has about 100 songs on it and when I hit buy album it starts to purchase it then it stops and cancels the purchase. However, I have been able to purchase individual songs from the same album but I still can't buy the album itself. The computer says that the Network Connection timed out. On my Phone it says that my account is unavailable. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Please double check the Visa information and then try a different credit card if it's available.

    Try disabling the computer's antivirus and firewall.
    - Next try the manual install method of:
    iDevice Troubleshooting 101 :: iPhone, iPad, iPod touch
    Place the iPod in recovery mode after the firmware download is complete and then restore using the instructions in the article. Sometimes recovery mode timeouts and returns to disabled before the firmware download is complete.
    - Then try on another computer

    Try try again. Thre server are heavily loaded. The connection dropped becasue the computer thinks it waited to long. Disabling your security software on the computer can help resolve this too.

    I am having the same problem also! I posted on here about it, but no one has responded with ideas. I called technical support and e-mailed them, the only suggestions they gave was for the to turn off my firewall. But I didn't change anything, so it shouldn't suddenly stop working. Maybe this is just an iTunes issue? But it doesn't even recognize my account anymore, and I cannot log in now.
    If you happen to get an answer, will you please let me know what works for you?

    Have you tried logging out of your CC desktop app, then logging back in again? Quit/Restart won't work, but logging out and back in should. See here: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/sign-in-out-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

    There are a couple things that I would recommend trying.  Try closing all open applications and power cycle the device.  Next, go through the section labeled Troubleshoot issues on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in the second article below.  If the issue persists, try completely signing out of the iTunes Store on the iOS device and sign back in.  Be sure to test downloading an application after each step.

    We moved and our address has changed.  Also our AMEX card identity has been stolen twice and AMEX has changed our number and security code twice already.  Now i am trying to edit my account at Itunes.  Every time I try to edit our account at Itunes,  I get this message: "YOUR SESSION HAS TIMED OUT. TRY AGAIN"  Anything i am doing wrong?  How do I get to the accounting department without getting this message?

    I am having this problem too. I recently changed ISP b/c I wanted the iPhone, so I had to update my iTunes username to my Gmail account.
    In fact, I logged in HERE using it as my new Apple Id... so it works!
    But for some **** reason that is driving me nuts my iPhone will not connect to the iTunes store using my new Apple Id. It keeps saying my email has changed or is invalid and asks me to sign in to change it. So I do that, and it lets me in USING MY NEW Apple ID!!!! Then I go back out to the buy the App and the madness starts all over.
    Come on Apple, do you want me to buy your apps, or what?

  • I can't download LIon OS.  It's just stopped and says "waiting."

    I was downloading OS X Lion and it started up after clicking the pause button a few times.  Then it stopped and said "Waiting."  I restarted my computer and clicked on purchase in the App Store and got the above messayge.  I don't believe that a download should take 16 days.  I have been clicking on the pause button but it doesn't change anything. It keeps the 16 days or gives me "Waiting" as shown below.
    I am so frustrated.  What should I do?

    Try this
    First disconnect your WiFi and if your downloads fails, so that you can remove it and download again from purchased history.
    If it doesn't work, go to application folder try locating lion.app and delete it completely out of system and try downloading again.

    I just downloaded some new software for the phone, the software update failed and then my phone was stuck telling me to connect to Itunes. I tried holding down the home and power button to get the dfu mode for restore, I've done this a few times now, it goes black after doing it and then goes back to the connect to itunes screen when I do it again.     Try this.
    Alright so mostlikely its going to be 2 things, Either the Apple mobile Device Service, or the Driver that is installed..
    Disconnect phone- close iTunes
    If you open up your services program - WIndows 7 = Click Start , Type Services, click the gear icon that says services, Locate apple mobile device service -click on it, then click stop service on the left side of the screen, then wait 20 seconds, now click Start service.
    Reopen itunes - Reconnect phone - does it work? if not its gonna be the driver.
    You will want to open up device manager - Click start - Right click on my computer -click properties - Click hardware tab -click device manager -Check under Universal Serial Bus controllers, Imaging Devices, Portalble devices, and Human interfaces - for anything that says "Apple" iPhone" iPhone Recovery" anything along those lines.
    If you locate it Right click on it - click update driver -
    Select "Browse my computer for driver software."
    Select "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer."
    Click the Have Disk button. Note: If the Have Disk option is not present, choose a device category such as Mobile Phone or Storage Device if listed, and then click next. The Have Disk button should then appear.
    Click the Browse button and navigate toC:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers.
    Note: If using a 64-bit version of Windows Vista or Windows 7, navigate toC:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers.
    Double-click the "usbaapl"file. (This file will be called"usbaapl64"if you have a 64-bit version of Windows. If you don't see" usbaapl64" here, or if there is no Drivers folder, look in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers instead).
    Click Open in the Have Disk window. Then, click Next and then Click Finish. Windows will install the driver.

    The download times can vary depending Wi-Fi download speed and device space.  The best option would be to download and install the update via iTunes on a computer.  Here is some helpful information regarding updating your device.
