I have a 5880XM and the vodafone manual only mentions bluetooth but doesn't explain how to pair with another bluetooth unit, such as my car radio which has full bluetooth capabilities. When I try the radio asks for a code but can't find any mention of code in the manual. Would appreciate someone giving me the information or if it is in the manual the page reference.

Go to Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Bluetooth and add device plus you will also need to go to Menu > Settings > Phone > Accessories and select Wireless Car Kit.

Listener reports status = 0 (success) in listener.log,

Well... I BOUGHT Adobe Ideas for my iPad. Will you just leave the buyers of Ideas on their own?

I used it to sketch and send the files as PDF to use them as vectors. Well... I received the information that it will be replaced by Adobe Draw (good), an app than cannot export PDF (bad) unless I have a subscription do Adobe CC. Simple question: Will you just leave the buyers of Ideas on their own?
Don´t get me wrong, I think Adobe CC is wonderfull, and probably I´ll subscribe to it. But right now I don´t have a subscription and the workflow with Ideas is fine for me. My point is I paid for something that, latter was offered for free (no problem here) and now is being replaced by something with a big limitation (very bad) that is almost a dealbreaker for me.
This doesn´t feel as the good old Adobe for me. Sorry.

All media and apps are tied to the Apple ID that purchased them.
Without your relatives ID and password, you cannot update any of the Apps.
I am pretty certain he is also violating Apples terms of service by giving you the apps.

My iPhone was stolen in Dec of 2011. Did not have a locator on phone. Had a hard time getting that person to stop using my phone. They would contact my friends through my games!! Thought I had everything taken care of and like 6 months or so later I received an email about a password change request for my apple/itunes account. Rushing to log on, I changed my password, took out credit card info, etc. and contacted Apple to inform them of stolen phone, and thought I had deactivated my account with them. Now this morning I receive email about court settlement for in ap purchases. I reset password and my stuff is still there, along with purchases in 2012 and I owe .42 cents. My new phone is a Droid and our Kindle is through Amazon, so what is going on?

The notice of court settlement was sent to the registered email address of everyone who has had an iTunes Store account. If you did not have a child who made in-app purchases, the settlement does not apply to you, and it has nothing to do with the problems you had with the thief.

Could you (in the next verions of firefox), include a Warning Box, for people deleting "recently bookmarked". It does not tell you that your systematicallly deleting bookmarks that are in other folders.

You should change firefox, or at least have a warning box when deleting "recently bookmarked". I decided to clear that folder out, and then when I went to use a bookmark.. I didn't have any bookmarks in ANY FOLDER at all. I did manage to restore the booksmarks, but easier to just warm people, or just let them clear out the recently bookmarked. It had bookmarks from over a year ago that I had deleted in other folders, but still manage to hang out in the "recently bookmarked" folder. Oh, and if I delete a bookmark in a folder, please have it delete the bookmark in the "recently bookmarked" also.

"Recently Bookmarked" is a so called [[Smart Bookmarks folders|Smart Bookmark]] that shows the result of a place query in a list.
"Most Visited" and "Recently Bookmarked" are examples of the so called [[Smart Bookmarks folders]] and are not real existing folders.
Such smart folders show a list created by a query of the places.sqlite database that stores the bookmarks and the history in Firefox 3.
The bookmarks that show up in such smart folder listing are stored elsewhere in another folder and any changes made are applied to the real bookmark or history item.
Such lists show a maximum of 10 entries by default and you add a new bookmark or visit a website then a new item is added at the top and the entry at the bottom disappears from that list.
The items that are removed from the list are not gone, but merely do not show up anymore in that list.
Any actions like copy & paste or delete that you perform on bookmarks in such a list are done on the original bookmark.
If you do not want a specific list then remove that query (right-click: Delete), but do not delete the content that is displayed in such a list.

What do you feel about the IOS7?!.. What does it tell you about Apple?..

I have been waiting for the IOS7 for so long.. it's nice but not as good as i expected.. apple was always considered to be thrilling with it's designs and innovation, but.. ..android seems to be way better than the new IOS. I just hope Apple will review and bring something to this IOS7 because i think it's great time they make something to it!.. Apple seems to be sinking again.. i hope it doesn't..

I hate the missing book genres as well. I think this is a big step backward, especially with the gaining popularity of audio books. I see commercials for audible.com daily on television and even a podcast I listen to weekly is sponsored by Audible.com. A large part of my iTunes library consisted of audio books and now it makes it much more difficult to find something I'm in the mood to listen to. I was hoping they would have expanded on the genres tab with an update, not taking the feature away. I had sent feedback previously wishing for a way to add even more genre artwork ourselves. For example, iTunes as it was would have lumped a good portion of my library under the generic "Science Fiction & Fantasy" section. In that one heading alone I had books broken into categories such as Epic Fantasy, Techno-Thriller, Cyberpunk etc. subgenres. Not to mention all the other types of books such as thriller, mystery, etc. Now I have NO way to sort them at all in any practical fashion by genre. Now I'll have to find an alternative program to use since audiobooks were what I used iTunes for the most. Or roll back to a previous version that did what I needed it to do.

Does Spotlight tell where on your harddrive files are located?

I use spotlight all the time to search for and open files. But is there a way for it to simply tell you the location of the file on your harddrive once it finds it? So far all I can do is open the file from the Spotlight results, but it doesn't tell me the location of the file.

One more little goody: if you Command click on an item that Spotlight has found instead of opening the file, it opens the folder the file is in, with the file selected.

Hi,
I just bought a Lenovo mobile phone model s660w. It came with no instructions manual and I have been looking online for one. When looking through Lenovo web site all I could find was s660 which has one sim card slot and not two and probably several more differences...
Can anyone tell me why and where I can find a user manual for my phone?

Where can I download the service manual for a dv7-1243cl
I have just been informed that the fan assembly is not an end user replaceable item. The laptop is out of warranty and I am an experienced tech. I have been able to download the manual for both a slightly earlier and a slightly later model. Grrrrrrrrrrr.!

Elements 12 manual for vision impaired

I am wondering if there is another manual available for Photoshop Elements 12 with a larger font type? I am unable to print pages with larger font and when trying to read on my ipad I am unable to increase the font size. Is there assistance with the manual for the vision impaired?

"Microsoft" calls to tell you that your PC has been hacked

I just got a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft. He told me that my computer was infected.
He said that Microsoft knew that the PC was hacked because of the error reports I chose to send them when the pop up came up.
You probaly have seen the ones like this.
This was ineresting since I know that no personal information goes to Microsoft when you send the error reports.
Knowing that ther are a large number of scams like this, I asked for the phone number to call them back. He said that he would call me back. Then after pushing some more he gave me a bunch a random numbers.
If you look at Microsoft's Forum and the have a thread called "Phone warnings from 'Microsoft.'"
Bascially, Mircosoft didn't call me to warn me that my PC was hacked. Someone was fishing trying to get acess to my PC.
If you get a call, beware.

Does iOS7 tell you if your phone has been fully charged?
Yes, currently I'm using iPhone 4s with iOS 7.1, following behaviour I could observed,
When batter is charging--> Top right corner in the iPhone charging symbol is filled with white color.
When batter is fully charged--> Top right corner in the iPhone charging symbol is filled with black color.

Is a power transformer required for use in other countries or can you just use a plug adapter?

I'm flying to France tomorrow and don't wan't to bring or buy anything unnecessary. I have heard that some laptops don't need additional transformers to work over seas(just a plug addapter). Do you need a transformer for HP laptops?

No you just need a plug adapter. The AC "brick" is designed to accept 110-240 volts of current coming in and still put out the correct power to the laptop.

P.S. Watch out for trying to handle large (> 700meg) AVI files. Phone support says I'm SOL on bringing in my 6.5 gig 24 minute file. Their solution?
Bring it in small chunks or buy a new computer with more than 8gig of RAM. Why don't they just tell you before you buy, that unless you have an awsome computer, don't waste your money on our software?
