Which package Proxy class is belonging to ?

In the AS3 reference guide, the last line of page dedicated to Proxy Class (http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/actionscript/3/flash/utils/Proxy.html)
explains that Proxy class is now belonging to Top level classes.
"Note: Prior to Flash 11 and AIR 3.0, the Proxy class was a member of the flash.utils package. It is now a top-level class."
But the top of the same page put this Proxy Class among flash.utils package.
Package
flash.utils
Class
public  class  Proxy
Inheritance
Proxy  Object
In addition, the Proxy class doesn't belong to Top level classes in http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/actionscript/3/package-detail.html#met hodSummary
It seeems that the reference guide has to be fixed.
And what is the right place of Proxy class ?

from what I can see it's still in the utils package. maybe they were going to move it and changed their mind?

    HttpSessionEvent is not a class with the J2SE distribution.
    It can more than likely be found under jar files in the J2EE distribution.

  • How to create proxy class for a Siebel WS which has many Workflows in it?

    Hi,
    I am facing a strange problem. I have a Web Service for which there are many workflows associated with this. When I generate WSDL for this Web Service and later on generate proxy class in .NET, it creates mutilple classes for each workflow. From UI, I can invoke a perticular method for the class for which I am interested in. But when I am building the same in JDeveloper, using Web Service proxy, I get only one class and I am not interested in invoking method in this class but interested in some other class for which the proxy was not generated. Is there some way to generate multiple classes in JDeveloper proxy?
    Thanks,
    Sudha.

    I have figured this out. Actually Generate proxy creates package and it includes all the class in it. Now i am able to invoke web service method call.

    If pacman tries to install a package it is normally aware of files beeing already installed and puts out an error message. Is it possible to encounter to which package a file belongs, t.m. which package did install it?

    pacman -Qo <file>
    For example,

    /usr/bin/python2.5 is owned by python 2.5.1-5
    It's all in the manpage for pacman.

    This exception means that xml namespaces are different.
    Etc. soap has xml element which doesn't belong to namespace of parent xml element and namespace is set without prefix.
    I had such problem.
    Try to set namespace prefix for this element.
    Example:
    <el1>
    <el2 xmlns="http://..."/>
    </el1>
    Should be
    <el1>
    <q:el2 xmlns:q="http://..."/>
    </el1>

  • Proxy Class (for compiling purpose)?

    Since JDK 1.3, there is a Proxy class that allows us to dynamically generate Java object classes from scripts. We can use it to implement interface functions etc and calls to these functions would be redirect to a hook.
    My question is, will Sun consider to extend this functionality to compiled Java classes using some mechanism?
    For instance, I would like to statically link to some JavaScript functions or read the variables of some JavaScript objects. That is a lot easier than calling some long functions to access the variable/functions.
    The problem is the compiler would not understand such need unless the variables/functions are present in the statically compiled class files.
    Would it possible to a compile time class executed by the compiler to generate a list of variables/functions and types accessible.
    For example:
    // resource/test.js needs to be in the class path
    import javascript.ProxyClassHandler("resource/test.js");
    public class Foo
       public static void main ()
          // javascriptobject is the package of the object generated from resource/test.js
          javascriptobject.Test = (javascript.Test)JavaScript.eval ("resource/test.js");
          new Thread (Test.getRunnable ()).start ();
          System.out.println (Test.foo);
    }In the example above, the function getRunnable () and the field foo are statically linked at coimpile time.
    This capability can be useful because it allows Java to have better mixing with other scripting engines running on top of JVM.
    Currently, except the variable part which is not being handled by Proxy class, there is a workaround by generating an actual interface that correspond to javascript.Test. And then use that for the compiling purpose. The problem is that it is a two step process and does not handle variables. When we are dealing with heavy mixing of scripts and Java code, it can become a serious pain.
    What do you think of this idea?

    Well, interface simply cannot solve all the problems. When one deals with scripting engine a lot, it is the general case that it is much easier to access fields and functions of Java objects, but extremely painful to access fields and functions of the script objects. Every scripting engine has its own way of how to getting the scripted objects exposed.
    Proxy of JDK1.3 alleviate the problem somewhat, but it is still problematic overall. Even if we use interfaces, we would have to "cast" the object returned from the scripting engine anyways, already "violating" the OO principle ^_^ Besides, scripts can generate GUI components and sub-classing them within scripting engine just fine, how to return the script object?
    If scripting engines, such as BeanShell and Rhino JS are capable of generating class byte codes, why not have a convenient way of importing these classes (having two steps complicates maintainence), and thus being able to access/link to the exposed script object statically. This way, we can discover problems at compile time rather than having to run the actual code and discover (if we ever) the runtime exceptions.
    Here is another case where it would be immensely useful.
    Say there is an XML parser that generate classes dynamically, and inserting class members as attributes as were read from an XML. Currently, there are two ways of accomplishing the similar thing. One is through JAXB or similar, which is known for slowness, requiring XML Schema, and generating classes. These three reasons remove JAXB from general use. Another is through DOM, which is used in general. However, this does not mean to say it is simple to use DOM. It is very wordy. One has to use myDomTree.getAttribute ("abc") to access an attribute, while on the other hand in other languages such as Python and JavaScript, one could potentially access DOM tree in the form of myDomTree.abc. With import method described in the original post, we would be able to access the fields, which is somewhat like auto importing the result from JAXB class generated. Compiler may maintain the generated class cache as needed if we are compiling many classes.
    Of course this still does not give us full power of meta objects of what Python/JS provides, they have their own problems having such flexibilities in general, but it could provide Java such capability when there is such needed.

  • How to use CL_PROXY_BASIS instead of CL_PROXY_CLIENT your ABAP Proxy class?

    Hello experts,
    I have a scenario where a new basis release was done in my development and testing SAP boxes (Basis Release 710 I believe) which means from then on when generating an ABAP Proxy class the inheriting class will be used is CL_PROXY_CLIENT as opposed to the previous CL_PROXY_BASIS.
    This causes a problem though because the target date for the project, which uses this ABAP proxy, is supposed to be in the production system before the date when the basis release will be done in the production system.  Obviously this will cause delays in my project since if I were to move my objects to production before the basis release a dump/syntax error will occur in production because the class CL_PROXY_CLIENT is not expected be production yet.
    The next plan is to try to use CL_PROXY_BASIS instead of CL_PROXY_CLIENT, by editing my ABAP Proxy Class be force. My question is, what steps do I need to take so that I can change these classes so CL_PROXY_BASIS will be referenced/used instead of CL_PROXY_CLIENT ?
    I hope to hear from all of you soon.
    Regards

  • Best Practice for WSDL Generate Proxy Class for Web Service with Two Versions

    Dear All
    Thank you in advance for you help.
    I would like to generate proxy classes for same function but with two versions.
    Old version web service (v23.2) is used for stable modules in a project which is not going to modify.
    However, enhancement is added in new version web service (v24) and is going to use in any future modules.
    For example,
    wsdl.exe -o="TestProxy.cs" -l:CS -n:Test -sharetypes https://community.workday.com/custom/developer/API/Notification/v23.2/Notification.wsdl https://community.workday.com/custom/developer/API/Notification/v24.0/Notification.wsdl
    It generates similar classes with an '1' added at the end of the class name.
    ublic partial class Event_TargetObjectType {
    private Event_TargetObjectIDType[] idField;
    public partial class Event_TargetObjectType1 {
    private Event_TargetObjectIDType1[] idField; ...}
    Since the function inside some class is the same, is it possible for WSDL.exe to generate proxy classes automatically that if the class is the same, then generate one class only (sameFunction())  but if it detects the class is different, then add '1'
    to the end of class name (differentFunction() and differentFunction1())
    i.e.
    public class sameFunction()
    public class differentFunction()
    private int a;}
    public class differentFunction1()
    { private int b;

    Hi  mintssoul,
      As per this case, I have shared corresponding details below :
    1.As far as I know, WCF doesn’t support method overloading directly
    2.Because WSDL doesn’t support method overloading (not OOPs).
    3.WCF generates WSDL which specifies the location of the service and the operation or methods the service exposes.
    4.WCF use Document/Literal WSDL Style : Microsoft proposed this standard where the soap body element will contain the web method name.
    5.By default all the WCF services conform to the document literal standard where the soap body should include the method name.
    6.but you can differ the method in the same manually by using Name attribute like below
    For example:
        [OperationContract(Name="Integers")]
        int Display(int a,int b)
        [OperationContract(Name="Doubles")]
    double Display(double a,double b)
    7. Or I suggest you that can use svcutil to map multiple namespaces for generating wcf service proxies .
        for more information about this, refer here :

  • RFC lookup with java proxy class, how do I use "fromXml()"?

    Hi,
    I'm trying to do an RFC lookup in XI using java proxy classes (SAP Enterprise Connector).
    The XMLPayload comes from a java proxy class which has been converted to xml using a method called
    .fromXml() for this. I just don't know how to use and I can't find any documentation for it.
    Would very much appreciate if someone could provide me with an example of how to use this class

  • ABAP proxy class - data structure

    I generated a ABAP Proxy Class and the data structure I want to use is put automatically under item structure which has 0...unbounded type.
    1. How can I get rid of this item structure as it will create another unnecessary level for my mapping
    2. If my source structure has only 3 level, and the target structure has more than 3 (including item), how to map it?
    e.g.
    Source structure: Level 1(occurrence 1) > Level 2(1)> Level 3(0..1)
    Target structure: Level 1(1])--> Level 2(0...1) --> item (0..unbounded) ---> Level 4(0..1)
    I need to map level 3 from my source to level 4 in target, but it didn't seem to work.
    Thanks.

    --->1. How can I get rid of this item structure as it will create another unnecessary level for my mapping
    You can delete the proxy at Application Server.....make necessary changes at XI Message Interface and again generate the proxy...
    -->Source structure: Level 1(occurrence 1) > Level 2(1)> Level 3(0..1)
    Target structure: Level 1(1])--> Level 2(0...1) --> item (0..unbounded) ---> Level 4(0..1)
    For this you need to make use of context change features of XI Mapping.

  • No data from XI Proxy class

    Hi,
    I am having one proxy class created by XI, which is used to pull the data from Oracle. While executing the class in the program it is not outputing the data, but for the particular input data is available in Oracle.
    While monitoring the XI request we can able to find the corresponding output in the transaction SXMB_MONI , but it is not flowing in the expoting parameter of the proxy class.
    Please Suggest me what can be issue?.
    Regards,
    Meera C

    Actually,in the standard program the functions  'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT'  and 'DB_COMMIT' have been commented during upgradation and there is a comment saying 'no commit in proxy class but from XI runtime (precondition: no errors)'.
    what is the procedure for giving commit in XI runtime in asynchronou mode for a proxy interface?

  • Package and class viewer

    Hello,
    Is there an equivalent of a menu item or short-cut key to bring up package and class viewer? A similar feature exists in Eclipse which builds the indexes and Ctrl-Shift-T will bring up all the classes in your workspace / project. I have seen something similar in Jdeveloper while running in debug mode, if it cannot find a file that is need for trace options, it throws up a window that says "Package and Class Viewer". It would be useful to access that during development as well.
    Thanks
    Farooq.

    Thanks for the repose. Ctrl+ , along with Ctrl= is doing the same thing. Also discovered Ctrl- will bring up java classes. Only thing remains is the remaining files in the project e.g XML or JSP files
    Thanks for you, got me in the right direction.

  • Java-JSP working with packages and classes

    Hi everybody,
    I'm bearly new on Java-JSP developping and I wanted to know how Tomcat (for example) manage the imported packages and classes.
    The fact is I'm working on a project ('/bob') which use some packages that I don't see in the '/bob' directory. So, is that possible that '/bob' is downloading packages and classes from Internet to '/bob/download' virtual repertory and use it? If it is true, is it possible to override this download by making '/bob' project using local packages or classes (example : com.boblibrary.classes.util in '/bob/WEB-INF/classes/com/boblibrary/classes/util') instead of downloading it?
    Therefore, the '/bob' project is using bugged classes (that I think it downloads from Internet) which I can't correct.
    Thanks for your help.
    - Renaud

    Thank you for your answer, but I can't imagine where is physicaly the class that my project use and show me as http://localhost:8080/atlassian-jira-3.13.2/download/ressources/br.com.ecore.jira.plugin.projectViewPlugin:ProjectViewTabPanel/js/projectviewtabpanel.js. Where is that Javascript file suppose to be on my hard drive? Or where is that class 'br.com.ecore.jira.plugin.projectViewPlugin' suppose to be on my hard drive? If it is not dowloaded from the Internet.
    I have no trace of that class on 'atlassian-jira-3.13.2/', neither on 'jdk1.6.0_18/', 'jre6/' or 'apache-tomcat-5.5.28/common/classes/'.
    Thanks.
