Which table to retrieve material characteristic?

Hi,
I wish to pull all material characteristic description and value from material master.
MM03 -> under MRP view -> double click the Configure variant -> char description, char value
I can retrieve these characteristic from Function module CUD0_GET_VAL_FROM_INSTANCE one by one only.
Please suggest me which table can I retrieve whole list of these data?

Classification Name Description Uses
KSSK     Material number to class
KLAS     Class description
KSML     Characteristic name
CABN/CABNT    Characteristic name description
CAWN/CAWNT Characteristic name
AUSP Numeric   values

Hi Guys,
Actually I have a problem in finding the table name for material characteristic against production order such as Individual length, factor, color, etc. I really spend more than a day to find this. But I cudn't make it. Finally I found the flow some how, but is working only for few cases. Here is the flow.
AFKO(RSNUM) --> RESB(OBJNR) --> INOB(CUOBJ) --> AUSP(OBJEK).
T-code: CO02 / Fast Entry tab / Change Configuration(Item Level) / Change Characteristic values.
Anybody knows about this. Please help me out on this. And please note that, it is not the material characteristic from MM01, it is against production order from CO02.

Hi Yasin,
The best way to know Table Names in SAP is to use a Transaction Code Called : SQL Trace. Tcode : ST05. This will tell you about all the database tables that have been accessed while the Transaction was executed. And then you do a complete analysis of it, what are all the Tables that have been accessed, the fields and the data transfered. So, it's a complete trace of the SQL Query but you can use the information as needed.

Table used in Material cost value

Hi,
In Material cost estimation Cost Components views are Material Cost, Material Overhead, Subcontracting Charges, Conversion Cost and Total Cost. Material Cost is calculated based on Material price, Bom Qty, value put in KP26 i.e, fixed and variable pirce with combination of Cost Center and Activity type and processing hours, Labout hours from Routing. Total Cost appears with the combination of Material Cost and Conversion Cost . This Total Cost appears in costing view tab of Material Master and CKIS table. which table stored in Material Cost value. Kindly need your suggestion.

The tables are KEKO and KEPH....
In KEKO you will find prod costimation no against the combination of Plant/Material
Against this Prod Cst Est no, you will find the cost break up in KEPH table

SAP-R/3- In which table, numeric values stored in equipment characteristis are captured.
In AUSP table Char values in equipment characteristics are captured against object number.But this table does not cappture numeric characteristics.
Are these numeric values captured in any function module?

You can use the tables
CAWN,INOB and AUSP to get the characteristics

we are using Accounting based COPA. we need to generate a report based on the characteristic values updated while posting to revenue accounts.
i searched the CE4XXXX and COSP tables but i am unable to get the results. COSP is not havinf the the revenue GL accounts PA characteristics.
CE4XXXX is not having the the PAOBJNR(profitability object no) updated in BSEG for the revenue accounts.
from which table can i capture the characteristic values for a line item posted in BSEG.

You cant get the material type directly from delivery item. Pls make a joint between LIPS and MARA tables to get the same.
In LIPS, get the material numbers of the delivery document.
Give them in MARA to get their material types

for this enter the sales order number in KDAUF or* MAT_KDAUF* fields in MSEG table

Hi,
As per above post, you can find classes. To find characteristics, Give EQUNR value in OBJEK field in AUSP table & get the ATINN value.
Give ATINN value in ATINN field in CABN table & get ATNAM field value.
In AUSP table, you can get the values against each characteristics as well.

Hi,
The texts are stored in tables STXH , STXL etc. But it is not possible to fetch the details directly from the tables. You have to use the function module READ_TEXT where you have pass the parameters Text ID, Language, object as material number etc to fetch the text.
You can take the help of an ABAPer to create a program for this.
