While MRp run which time is taken into consideration(from PIR or from MM)

Hi PP gurus,
When we run MRP which time is taken into consideration for a bought out material :
From Material Master ( Planned delivery time)
or
From Purchase Info record : the delivery time mentioned in the PIR ..
In my case the MRp run is showing 2 different results in different systems for the same material.
Also please let me know that if there is any priority that can be set in SPRO for picking up the time while MRP run and what takes priority and when.

Hi!,
If you are getting two different values after MRP in two different systems then please check:
1.  whether any other info record exist for the same material in any of the system.
2. Have you maintained source list in both the systems for the material. How many sources are defined in the source list and in what sequence. If you have not maintained a quota arrangement then system will take first line item of the source list.
You can't set the priority for the planned delivery time but you can set whether system should take planned delivery time from info record or not in IMG setting Material Management > Consumption based Planning > Planning > Procurement Proposals > Define External Procurement. To use the planned delivery time from info record you must maintain a source list for that material with same vendor. Also make that source as MRP relevant.

  • SO will not be taken into consideration for MRP until it is released for delivery.

    Dear Sir,
We are following sales order basis planning (MTO basis planning strategy 50 is being used ).
When sales order are created by default it is blocked for delivery. In our present system,  we have a scheduled total MRP procedure on daily basis. Hence, when sales are entered in the system it is taken into consideration for MRP RUN automatically.
But our new proposed system we want , until the sales order is blocked for delivery, it will not be considered for MRP RUN. It will only be taken into consideration for MRP RUN when sales order will be released for delivery.
Is it Possible ? If Yes, Please let me know the procedure.

    Hi Krishnendu ,
Then we are deviating from my requirement ,
    My requirement >>
We are using  MTO planning  (Planning Strategy using 50),
    1. Sales order are created for material requirement planning .
    2.  under MD04 list sales order will be shown under FERT material .
    3. There is release procedure of Sales order.
    4. Daily scheduled MRP RUN has been introduced on total planning.
    5. MRP RUN only consider released sales order . If there is any sales order which is not released , that will not be consider for MRP RUN.
    6. Under FERT material , there may be number of sales order both released and not released sales order.
Please let me know the process , sales order which are not released , this will not be under the scope of MRP RUN .

  • Call list: calling hours not taken into consideration

    Hi Gurus,
I have a question. We are using CRM 7.0 EHP1, and especially marketing functionality.
We are generating call lists from a marketing campaign. What we see is that the customer calling hours are not taken into consideration when creating the call list.
However, if we create the call list the "old-fashioned" way (using CRMD_CALL_LIST), we have the option "scheduling... based on calling hours".
How can I achieve that calling hours are also considered when creating the call list from the campaign?
Is there a customizing setting, or do I need to activate a BAdi?
    thanks.
    regards,
    Wim Olieman

Also, keep in mind that MRP calculates availability of inspection stock in two ways.
Before an inspection lot is created, (i.e. a purchase order or production order is out there and planned already, MRP uses the expected GR date plus the Avg. GR days on the main QM view for the material to determine the availability date.
Once the inspection lot is created however, MRP uses the end date of the inspection lot which is the lot creation date plus the avg insp. duration in the inspection type setup in the material master.  This can result in some minor differences if you aren't careful in setting your various fields in the material master.
If a material is going to reside in QI for an extended time, the lab should use QA02 to modify the end date of the inspection lot.

  • Taxes not taken into consideration on consignment items

We are having an issue when we are transacting consignment material from consignment to unrestricted inventory.  When the movement 411K is used no taxes are transacted causing an issue with our moving average price (MAP).  When a purchase order (PO) is received into unrestricted from a regular PO using a 101 movement type taxes are taken into consideration and applied to the MAP.  If we do the same with a consignment PO is used the material is transacted to consignment stock and no taxes are considered then when the material is moved to unrestricted, as pointed out above, using a 411K no taxes are taken into consideration causing the MAP to be understated.
Has anyone else seen this issue and if so what was done to alleviate the problem.

    Hi Amit,
Thank you very much for your response.  Yes, I understand this portion of the issue that IM does not take tax into consideration.  Our problem is that when the materials are received into inventory via a consignment PO taxes are never considered and posted to our moving average price.  Taxes are only considered at invoicing or settlement time and never posted properly to the material.  Then a manual posting must take place to clear the imbalance.  Does this make sense?
    Thank you for your time.
    Best regards,
    Steve

  • Sales order while MRP run

    Hello friends;
My requirement is such that when i run mrp in MD02, system should not consider those sales order that are planned in previous MRP run. System should consider new sales orders that are created after MRP run.
    Waiting for reply.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
One solution is go for individual Sales Order/Line Item MRP run using T.code MD50.
But I can't understand problem with use of MD02.If Receipt element(Plan order)is there which contains the Account Assignment of that Sales Order line Item then I don't think system will replan for same Sales Order Line item.

  • Background MRP Run Some times Planned orders are not generating.

    Dear All,
We run MRP in the background at plant level once in a month. Some time we do not get planned order for the material in MD04. Than we run MRP (Selected material only) manually through MD01 considering MRP control parameter 13132.Than only we get planned order. Plesae let me know why it happens? Please give your comments on this.
    Thanks & Regards
    Kundan Kumar

    Dear Kundan Kumar,
First check the output list or the results of MRP run in SM37,find out for how many materials it has
throwned out error,I hope in this list you can find out the materials.
Then the next step you have to check once again the material master settings.
Instead of running in MD02,first check whether was there any issue in master data,or if this happening
repeatedly for the same materials and work around.

  • GR processing time not taken into account for exception message in MD04

    Hello Gurus!
In MD04 when we toggle between displaying at GR date and AV date sometimes there is a shortage in AV date view but none in GR date view due to GR processing time.
How can we include the GR processing time to be taken into account so that an exception message is shown for the shortage during AV view?
    Thanks in advance!
       -Alvin

    Hi There
    What you meant by shortage,,,
    AV- Available date,
    GR- Availble date+GR processing time
if you have not set up the GR processing time in Master, it may come as ZERO days,, so AV and GR date may be same,,
if this is not your quesry, please provide more details on your query,,,
    Thanks

  • Labels Batch No allocation in Purchase requistion while MRP Run

    Dear Experts,
While running the MRP PR are generated for labels as per BOM to purchase department, but in our case labels are purchased by purchase department, So can i give the batch number to purchase department through PR, so that they can print the labels as per the batch number mentioned in PR.
    Regards,
    Phalgun Patel

    Dear Phalgun,
    Thanks for your appreciations.
In PR you can maintain texts at Header level or at Item level. Go to transaction ME52N - Change PR & Enter your required PR no.
Now if you want to maintain some common texts for your complete PR then enter Header Texts. For that you can click on the Expand Header tab below the bucket trolley or press Ctrl+F2. Texts tab will be opened. Now you can enter the texts in the field of Header texts.
If you want to enter the texts specific to any Items, then you have to enter texts at Item level. For that you have to select that item and click on the Collapse Item Details or press Ctrl+F7. There also you can select the individual items from drop down which are present in the PR. Select Texts tab and there you can enter the required texts, in your case you can enter the required Batch No. for those items. Here you have different options like item texts, Item Note, Delivery texts etc. etc. You have to double click on those options where you want to enter the texts.
Further for your information, to copy those texts in to PO, you need to do the customizing with the help of your MM Consultant. Also you can print those texts on your output.
Hope now this will be clear to you.

  • BOM explosion while MRP run

    hi all
I have a FERT for which raw materials are assigned in the BOM. but while running MRP, the BOM is not being exploded and the list doesnt show the raw materials.
I have checked in the Overall maintenance of the plant parameters in MRP in SPRO and the required paramenters are maintained. The scenario is MTS - strategy 10.but still the BOM is not exploded.
    Could anyone solve my query
    Thank you in advance
    chandra

    Hi Chandra,
Could you please check if there was an exception message "50 or 52"? If so then it can be beacuse for the BOM explosion date system is not able to get a BOM.
If there were no exception messages then check in MRP4 view of the FERT material for dependent requirement defination. This should be blank.
    Hope this helps..

  • Sales order stock not taken into consideration when GR is posted.

    Hello All,
I had a scenario in which, I have created a MTO sales order. I have created a PO from the PR. I did the GR for the PO quantity.
The plant and storage location are warehouse managed.(The storage location is HU managed)
I created an inbound delivery and then TO finally posted the GR for the same quantity as in the sales order and PO. After this I posted the sales order stock into scrapping through t.code VLMOVE.
Now I want the stock back. So I did a 552 with transaction code MB1A to the same plant and storage location against the sales order and the line item. This created an inbound delivery as the storage locaion is HU managed.
I created a TO from inbound delivery. Now the HU and the TO both have the sales order reference and spcial stock type "E".
But when I did PGR(Goods receipt) the system posts the stock in unrestircted use stock in IM side. Now there is a discrepancy in the stock in IM & WM.
In WM side the stock is in sales order stock but in IM side the stock is in unrestricted use.
I am wondering why during goods receipt the system is changing stock category from "E" to unrestricted.
    Can any one help?
    Regards,
    Sushanta

you should have used movement type 552 E rather then using 552
and even if you have used 552 then you transfer the stock to sales order stock from own stock
    follow the steps
    1. use tcode MB1B
    2. movement type 412 E

  • Cant correctrly import time remapped clips into AE from Premiere project

In AE CC (12.2.0.52) I am importing a project from Premiere CC 7.2.0 (46). On windows. Using command File-> Import-> Adobe Premiere Pro project.
Those shots in the premiere, which has different from 100% time stretch are importing in AE not correctely (see the third track from the top on the screenshot). In the imported timeline there are: holes, strange size of imported tracks. And there is no any time remap on the imported tracks.
If you do Ctrl + C selection in Premiere and stick it through Ctrl + V in the AE timeline - the same garbage - inserted not correctly.
Who knows where I am wrong in technology?
And is there possibility to import project with already correctly set time "remaps" from Premiere?
(import via Dynamic link - not suitable for me cuz i need all tracks)
    Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem and looking for a solution.
Does anyone know of a solution for this? I think it's a very important feature to have work correctly.
    Thanks,

  • Re: MRP Run

    Dear All,
I have  queries regarding the MRP Run Subject.
    1. How is the periodicity fir MRP run is decided.
Is the Change in the plan ( Forecast ) changes is the criteria Or we look for some other criterias as well.

    Hi,
The MRP is executed to plan the procurement, production etc.
Now for deciding the frequency will depend upon:
    1. How much stock of Raw Materials you want to keep when you place the purchase orders.
    2. How much stock should be there when you start production.
Ideally these should be zero, but in practical scenarios you keep some buffers for fluctuations.
    3. For how long you want to plan with the MRP. Suppose you are running MRP to plan the next 3 months, then MRP should run before these 3 months get over or your stock falls below required level.
    4. Lead times & Delivery times are taken into consideration, as stated above.
    5. Consumption pattern for RM and other materials is also considered. If it is more, you would need MRP early. You can otherwise increase the order quantity but that will increase the inventory levels. So its a trade-off.
    5. From SAP point of view, if it takes too much of system resources for longer times, then it should be used less frequently.
Moreover, the frequency should be decided by keeping the business in mind. When do the business requires the planning.
    Hope that clears some points.
    Regards,
    Rohit.

  • Planned Delivery time not considered after MRP run for scheduling

    Dear All,
After running MRP, the planned delivery time maintained in Purchase info record is not taken into consideration for calculating start date of the schedule line of externally procured material generated by the system.
Planned delivery time is 3 days & Requirement of parent material falls on 15/02/2010. With this, system should calculate the start date for schedule line as on 12/02/2010 considering 3 days Planned Delivery time.
Any idea as to what might have gone wrong?
thx for your help in advance.
    Rgds,
    Ranjeet

    Hi,
Determination of PLD from the Purchase info record is maintained in transaction code:OMDT. Planned Delivery time is also maintained in Scheduling agreement. However, it is not calculating delivery date as well as release date.

  • MRP run reg.,

Hi guru's can anybody tell can it be config., in such a way that the ext., req., can also be
taken into account while MRP run in consumpotion-based planning if VB is selected as MRP type.
    thanx in adv.,
    tulja singh

    Hi,
    In spro/ prodn/mrp/master data/check mrp type :
For mrp type VB you can include external requirements in total horizon or with in the replenishment lead time.
Select the external requirements to be considered by the system such as sub contract req, released purchase req, reservation etc.,
You can copy VB &make required changes & give a different name.
    Hope this helps...
